I moved here in April. Quiet community and well kept. As I reconsider lease renewal it April it is a strong no for me. I am teacher and I commute and hour back and forth to have piece of mind where I live. I have recently had my lower level flooded 3 times due to either ineffective maintenance repairs and or poor plumbing. The lower level bathroom was installed prior to move in. The water is coming out of the toilet that I don’t even use… which is disgusting and even more frustrating. Rent will be due and expected on time. No one seems concerned about the issue other than me. They do come clean it up in a timely fashion but someone needs to get to the root of the problem. I want to move so bad. Maintenance is doing their best but a master plumber is warranted.

Lived here little over a year and always paid my rent on time. As you can see from other reviews when you leave the property they will falsely bill you for charges and damages. I was billed for carpet replacement even after showing my own proof of how I left the property. They sent me a picture of 3 steps stating the whole stair case was heavily greased and soiled. I called multiple times to talk to the manager and never got a call back. As an Active Duty Military member I would NOT Recommend living here AT ALL!

I have been a resident at lake village townhomes since 2019. The community is gorgeous and well maintained. I have never had any issue with maintenance or the upkeep of my unit and the leasing office staff is extremely caring and professional. Ms.Naomi is a pleasure, very understanding and truly cares about the residents and has always gone above and beyond to provide great service to her residents. I highly recommend lake village townhomes community to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable place to live.

I've lived here for about a month now and have had a pretty bad experience so far. I like the unit, and all my interactions with the staff have been excellent. However, I've had constant issues with my air conditioning not working. It's stopped working 5 or 6 times since I moved in. The maintenance staff have come by several times to "fix" it, but they must be just putting a bandaid on the issue to get it functioning for a few days instead of actually fixing whatever is wrong with it. I've been assured by management that the problem will be permanently fixed, but obviously that hasn't happened yet. It's constantly 80+ degrees in my unit, so I can't keep living here if this continues happening. I'm not sure what I need to do to get this problem fixed. It looks like my only option may be to just hire a third-party HVAC technician to actually fix the problem at my own expense.

So far it has been a very welcoming and safe neighborhood. My wife and I came from the west coast and had to pick a place to live without being able to see any places in person. We had to sign a lease based on what we saw online and we have not been disappointed. Townhomes are very stylish

Wish negative stars were allowed!!! Don’t even make this property your LAST option!!! MANAGEMENT GETS WORSE AND WORSE. They will allow other tenants to leave facial matter in front of your walk and tell you it’s your responsibility to provide evidence but they have “cameras.” Over priced, ghetto, ran down and a joke. Save your $2,000 because after the first yr that’s what your rent will be or more.

I have been living at lake village for 2 years now and i love it and wish to continue to stay here. The neighborhood is very quiet and they host a lot of community events. The area is consistently clean and maintenance does their thing. I have never had to wait more than 24hours for a work order to be completed.

I had a terrible experience here. The only great part about this place is maintenance responds quickly to a service order; however, I had several issues that weren’t address with move out fees. They hold your security deposit for 45 business days after you move out.! 🤯 that’s crazy.! Plus they aren’t very customers service focus. I would not recommend this place.

I recently just moved here. Chasity from the leasing office was very helpful with my application and made the move in transition very smooth. The apartment was clean and i have no complains. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe . So far. I have only needed one maintenance service for a minor repair which was completed the same day the request was put in. This is definitely a good location to live in

Just moved to the area two weeks ago two weeks ago, so far it’s been a very peaceful and friendly neighborhood. The townhome is in great condition, and spacious enough for my wife, and our two dogs. Chastity helped up us reserve our townhome while we were still living out of state, and Kia assisted us upon arrival and showed us our townhome and mailbox. They both were very professional and friendly. The only reason this place didn’t get 5 stars from me was because of the amount of repeated documentation request from corporate for our two dogs. One of our dogs is 5 yr old, ESA, American Staffy mixed with zero incidents, and the other is a 14 pound, 11 yr old, cairne terrier mix, with also zero incidents, both of them are fully vaccinated. The problem is that corporate with want verification, ON TOP OF verification for your furry children upon arrival which understandable from a corporate standpoint, but also it’s very redundant for tenants who are trying to settle in from a new state who are starting new jobs. If corporate would ease on the strictness, this place would be 5 stars for me.

BEWARE IF YOU HAVE PETS!!!!!!!!!! In all honesty my experience living at Lake Village Townhomes was quite nice. Great area, plenty of parking and the leasing office staff (all except Michelle) we’re easy to work with. However, during the final walkthrough upon moving out, the Community Manager Michelle was a nightmare to deal with. Upon entering the unit for a walkthrough, she immediately went to a back corner of the dining room, lifted the carpet and found what was clearly water damage, likely from flooding or water leaking between the units. The water damage could not possibly have been the result from 2 small very particular and clean cats , that are well trained to pee inside 2 large kitty litter boxes kept in a closet, not where the water damage was “discovered”. She then claimed to have smelled it “as soon as she walked in” though my ex-gf moved out with the cats 6 months prior. I got down on my hands and knees to smell the carpet which would have reeked of anomia which it did not, it was clearly water damage, but she did not care. Despite the carpet being (her words) “replaced 2-3 years ago” she claimed she would be billing me for the cleaning fee and new carpet and if I did not pay I’d be sent to collections. She was mean, cold and impossible to reason with. As if she’d already made up in her mind she intended to bill me for the new carpet no matter what, it felt calculated. Like she enjoyed it. Other reviews of this community will say the same thing. It seems as though this property management company does its best to offset carport placement costs by billing the tenants.

No major issues. Provided responsive service whenever needed. Had an issue when I moved to another unit resulting in me having to pay late fees etc but no other problems. Would stay if the units were bigger - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

Wonderful pricing. Clean new spaces. Very dog friendly. I worked with Kiara but every office member was happy, willing and able to assist when I needed help. Would highly recommend to anyone. And call, don't trust the internet.

I absolutely love Lake Village Apartment Townhomes, this is our second time renting in this development. It's always quiet and the grounds are always clean and well kept. Also kid friendly, only thing we're missing is a community pool ??

I've been with Lakevillage a long time, and I love it here. I've had quite of few military neighbors and they have been really friendly. My other neighbors are just as nice, and we all look out for each other. It's a great place to live, the community is basically quiet to some aspect. A good place to start/raise a family. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings
