If you come here to purchase said tickets make sure to bring your passport,you won't get the ticket without it, and come early, as the line can get quite long and there is precious little shade in the plaza.

From here you have a wonderful view of the cathedral and the Giralda.

Well this more a Plaza than a Patio, as it is much bigger than the ones we're used to see in Seville or Cordoba. There are some more beautiful and impressive, but as this one is adjacent to the exit of the Alcazar, no doubt you'll pass by it and appreciate it. I honestly never leave bad reviews but please read as a warning before dining here. I ordered tuna salad (which was essentially 1 beefy tomato and half a tin of John West tuna chunks) and paid €9+ for the pleasure. My partner ordered pork cheeks and fries - which they didn't have therefore, he asked for a similar option. The waitress pointed to a 'similar' plate and he said 'yes' not knowing fully what he agreed to but was expecting something similar to pork and chips. 5 minutes later the same waitress brought my partner a plate of pork meatballs and fries (IKEA style) and the salad. We ate and finished our meals. We were approached by a male waiter who said they got the order wrong, and actually gave my partner the wrong plate of food and wanted us to pay for 3 meals (bare in mind - it was their mistake and we only ate the 2 meals we were given) we refused to pay for their mistake, and said we would pay for what we ordered or ate and were met with rudeness and shouting by the male waiter. The ladies who served us were lovely. The gentleman was unpleasant and stated it was unfair on him (despite them messing up the order). Please don't waste your time. There's better quality food of better value around the corner with more plesent and helpful staff.
