If you come to visit Seville and stay in this neighborhood, you gotta check out this market. It made us feel right at home with a good variety of cheese and ham. We tried every ham in the pix including the one that was “declared the world’s best ham” as they put it. And they were really amazing, distinctive tastes for the high-end ones. We came there at around 8ish in the morning, grabbed fresh from the oven baguettes with cheese and ham for breakfast. What else could we ask for?

Unlike Mercado San Miguel in Madrid, this is not a market for tourists! It wasn't overcrowded like this other one, the prices were fair and the buying experience was nice and enjoyable. Fish, meat, fruit, Coffee shops and bars, plenty of options and plenty of choice. And of course so colorful it was a pleasure for your camera, just look at the pictures.

A must see in Seville. A fresh food market where you can buy fresh meat, fish, cheese and vegetables. There are also little cafés where you can get something to eat and drink

I wish I could explore a new stall in this market daily. You'll find everything you'd expect and more from veggies, to meat delis, to seafood, and wine. Prices are reasonable and you'll have multiple options for whatever you're looking for. Be aware that the smell inside is fairly strong so it could be off putting if you don't like fish. There are restrooms available but there may not be toilet paper.

Great local market tucked under the Isabel bridge between Triana and Seville. Sells mostly fresh veg and meat, fish. But there are loads of cafes where you can sit and eat the produce. I stopped at a corner cafe as it was the only one that I could easily identify vegetarian food and the vendor was very helpful despite my terrible Spanish. I had the tuna in pastry with a bean salad and it was really delicious. 👌 with a drink this cost me €8. Then I went to another stall and bought 1 apple, 1 peach and 1 tomato which also cost me €8. I think this was extortionate and the apple was horrible. Recommended market to visit.

"There aren't many breakfast options. We found a place with many customers, thinking it would be great. The server only speaks Spanish. It's a take it or leave it situation. That's it. Beautiful, fresh fruits are available. Be sure to try something at Manu Jara Triana."

Be sure to come early in the day as I think it closes mid afternoon. It’s pretty quiet as I don’t think many tourists come here and there are a few stalls you can order hot food to try. There’s also a stall that sells traditional Andalusian sweets at a higher price. You can try if you have a sweet tooth. Aside from this, this market is pretty ordinary and there are many better food options in Seville’s main area.

We had a great time here- took a cooking class, bought spices and also at there. Probably the highlight of our andalucia 2 week trip. Food arrives fast and everything was so flavorful and fresh. The market is also well ventilated and tidy. Highly recommend.

Wish they had stores open hours posted as well. Visited twice; first day after 5pm so the whole market was closed which was my bad so decided to go back the next day at 11am as the sign outside the market mentioned they were open early in the morning but only handful of shops were opened at 11am. Ended up looking around for 5-10minutes and leaving

We came to visit Mercado de Triana for lunch. They have plenty of of fish, poultry and meat vendors. Plenty of fruit vendors. But to get a complete meal of a sandwich and some finger foods - there’s really only two vendors. Seems like it’s a well maintained place with a lot of foot traffic.

I came on a Sunday to check out the market which we are close, but some of the restaurants were. One of my tour mates met me up, and we decided to have lunch at one of the places. We had lunch at "El Puesto 22" ordered some pork tapas and some wine. But the owner there was a bit rude, wasn't keen in serving tourist. but probably not worth the trek across town.

Fresh market, if visitors have no big problems with smell, it’s absolutely a good place to have a real sea food feast. There’re couples of restaurants provide sea food not only the lists on their own menu, but also any fish stands inside the market. The kind waiter helps me select delicious fish that locals enjoy, actually I forgot the name indeed…main point is that tastes rather fine, tasty and not fishy. We ordered two large fishes (tuna &?) and two other side dishes, plus wine, tonic water and coffee, the summary is 52 euro, that’s a good bargain!

Great market with fresh vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, etc., and with the possibility to have the ingredients prepared into a fantastic lunch. It's also not too overcrowded and touristy yet still close to the famous ceramic stores and downtown, as it is based in triana.

Interesting place close to the center. Lots of stands with fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. Additionally, a lot of places where you can eat and drink. We were quite early, some of the places were not working yet, but you can see that a lot of local residents come there so you can feel the atmosphere of Seville, not only tourist places

Amazing market with lots of places where you can eat fresh food - sea food or any local dish. There are lots of places that are offering cheese from Seville and meat products like Lomo or Jamon

Good food. Food shopping for jamon, some fish. IMO the best fish markets (and meats, bakeries) is the markets under the big mushrooms in Centro!

It is a well known mercado but it kept its original charm! Fresh products, good prices and smiley sellers!

This place is amazing. Situated on the bank of the river, just under the Puento de Triana. A walking distance from the Centro Histórico. The variety of smells and colours will leave you speechless. You can eat for a decent price or buy souvenirs. The place is beautiful.

It's a market located next to the castle of inquisition. The place has lots of bars where it's possible to eat drink but also buy products. It's really nice to chill there, even for a coffee or beer. If you are walking nearby, I highly recommend to stop there and take a break.

A great place to escape the heat and try some authentic tapas. We ate at El Puesto 22 and the food was absolutely delicious and great value.

A truly local market with local food and working man’s cafe. The cliche saying “When in Rome….”, is what you need to adjust your mind set when anywhere in Sevilla. Let your senses loose and soak up the atmosphere in the bustling market. Have cafe with churro and cured ham anytime of the day or wash it down with a glass of local orange port.

A great market with good products, also a few bars to have a beer and a tapa.

Extremely nice market with interesting history atop of castle ruins. Good variety of fresh foods and products available. Good excuse to get out of the heat. Time of year meant some of the vendors were away on ‘vacationes’.

Löytyy hyviä hedelmiä. Lihakin on erittäin hyvää! Kannattaa poiketa käymään. Paikka on myös erittäin kivan näköinen. The fruits are a 10. The meat is good too! You should go if your close. The place is very pretty too.

Great place to wonder around and buy local produce. It also includes some bars where you can eat. Also an oyster bar with a good assortment of different oysters

A pretty decent local market with quite a few eateries mainly for tourists like us. Prices are cheaper while food quality is top notch than the other markets across the river. Can recommend especially at the Freidor de Triana.

Went on a Saturday. Nice food market. Similar to Borough Market but smaller

Great market where to buy fresh and yummy goodies! There are several shops inside for fish, meat, vegetables, canned food, species, etc. In addition, there are several bars and restaurants. The architecture is nice. The armosphere is vibrant. Prices of the shop are quite reasonable. There is a parking next to the market, but it may get crowded so I recommend parking elsewhere and coming here on foot or by taxi. There are toilets inside.

The best market in Sevilla. All the bars and food stalls are on point! My favorite the rice restaurant… but everything there is yummy!! 🤩🤩🤩

Smallish market. Mainly meat, fish and vegetables/fruit. Not many bread or pastries stalls. We had a v nice breakfast of churros and chocolate and toast with tomato at Bar La Muralla.

Super! The Triana market is a must see. It sports a lot of different small boutiques, an explosion of colours and good smells. Even got to find a Dragon fruit to buy (12€/kg) which compared to fresh Shrimps (8€/kg) surprised me quite a bit. I've been Trianed and it's nice.

Great food market for fresh meats, vegetables, fruits, cheeses and breads. A few options to eat in as well. Preferable to go before 2pm when everything is new.

Fabulous under cover market with all fresh produce and some orange cordials, liquers and produce. A great leather craft shop. Helpful staff, good prices. Paella restaurant, sit down only, not take away. Fabulous spice shop. Cards accepted at stalls, might be the odd exception.

This is a small little market just after you cross over the river in the Triana area in Seville. It is geared toward the locals. Outstanding place to get fresh meats, fish, fruits and vegetables. You can also get small plates of food. It is nowhere as large as the one in Barcelona, but I would visit it often if I lived here.

👍👍 Top-notch unpretentious tapas, served as from a deli counter - and amazingly good for just off the main shopping stretch. A good option for lunch or an early evening snack. The octopus salad was generously-sized and perfectly tender. Drinks were refreshing and cold. Atmosphere was jolly and local....
