Very well organized. The Betis Fan Club has a huge number of supporters with the best cheers of the Spanish championship league. This Stadium is under work of reform and reconstruction. Still it's a great place to enjoy a soccer match.

If you are in Seville, you like live football and you can get tickets you should go to this stadium and see a Betis match! I think it’s one of the best way to feel the cultures of a city. There are 2 football teams in Seville - both are in the top Spanish league and playing in Europe this year. Betis is one of the biggest stadium in Spain - it’s very impressive. Make sure you arrive in the area early and go for a few beers. It’s a good way to soak up the prematch atmosphere!

Unbelievable stadium and a brilliant atmosphere in a 3-0 win over valencia. Tickets were not cheap as they are relatively hard to come by, but definitely worth forking out for any football fan. The pregame light show and musical was an incredibly unique experience, one that any football fan should experience if they like seeing different atmospheres and cultures around Europe. Vamos betis!

Second time in Seville, but first time to this (Real Betis) stadium. It was far bigger than I imagined, the police were OK (not like the majority of Spanish police!), the refreshment kiosk operators were pleasant.... the only thing that let them down was the over zealous security on the main gate that were (it seemed), just looking for a reason to not let you in! We were a party of 11, all over 50, and yet one wasn't allowed in for sum reason. The security inside didn't want to know, they were too busy ejecting fans for singing and cheering on the concourse instead of going straight to their seats! I tried talking to an official (in a business suit), who just kept waving me away. Kinda put a damper on what was otherwise a lovely visit to Seville.

Decent stadium. All the better when you support the opposition and win 3-2 to top your Europa league group and qualify directly for the last 16.decent access round the outside of the stadium, good transportation link by bus from the tourist centre

Fantastic stadium in Seville where F.C. Réal Betis hosts soccer games to worthy opponents! Attendance for the match we watched was +30K. Everyone here (or almost) during the game was snacking on sunflower seeds--the shells were everywhere on the floor! The sound of +10K people cracking sunflower seeds is unlike anything I've heard before. In any case, food from outside seems to be permitted although we didn't attempt it ourselves. Prices at kiosk are roughly 2X what you'd be for outside. Ticket for our -3YO was €30. Don't bring a (kids) stroller. We couldn't find soap in the washrooms. Finding staff who spoke English was hard at times, come ready with your Spanish keywords! Enjoy the match!

Estadio Benito Villamarín is a stadium in Seville, Spain, and the home of Real Betis since its completion in 1929. It has a capacity of 60,720. It is the home ground of Real Betis and Spain National Football Team. The atmosphere of this stadium is very well. The field surface is grass. It is a very good stadium and pitch is also very well for a football match. I like this stadium.

I got lucky and managed to get a ticket for the Seville derby. I’ve been to hundreds of football matches around the world and this is one of the best experiences I’ve had. The stadium is great and it was a brilliant atmosphere on the night

Best football stadium ever. Betis, the team playing here, always displays a great football quality, and let people that see their games enjoy an amazing show. The location is the best, and the stadium quality is brand new. I always go to this stadium when I visit Seville

Attended a Seville derby with my wife. An outstanding atmosphere and an energetic affair between two quality Spanish sides. The home fans chanted and sang throughout the match, even after falling behind to their city rivals.

  • 4/5 Daniel H. 2 years ago on Google
Great stadium! Tight, steep stands and you feel close to the pitch even in 3rd tier. Atmosphere was good, despite Betis losing, so in a more prestigious game with a better home-performance this might be something to enjoy. Big BUT: despite being at the entrance with more than 30 minutes left to kick-off, we came in a few minutes late. The entry procedure - just at our gate as all others were empty at kick-off - was absolutely abysmal and a disgrace for a club with up to 60.000 visitors. This is nothing new for them, so why didn't it work?

In Sevilla there are 2 big football clubs. The first one is Sevilla footbal club and the second is Betis. So this is their home, you may enjoy to see world class football here. Very often come such clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico.. this list is too long. In short if you like football this place is for you

The first stadion from what I want visit The stadium is mythical and that's why it's my favorite and that's why I want to visit it. I am from Varna Bulgaria and our football is slow and uninteresting. Spanish football is ofter with not so much goals pro game, but it is at a very high level... And ya, paradoxically I want to visit the stadium of Real Betis, not Barcelona or Real Madrid, because the atmosphere there is incredibly inspiring. It's a different world: Estadio Benito Villamarin. I love the stadium and the club in my heart and soul! One of the single things what can bring me in tears - the atmosphere of Benito Villamarin.

Estadio Benito Villamarin is located in the south of the city of Seville, about 3 kilometres from the historic city centre. The stadium lies on the Avenida la Palmera, a large avenue which connects the stadium in one straight line with the centre. Around the city centre, the avenue – though with a different name – runs along the bank of the river Guadalquivir. The stadium can be reached with bus 1, 2, 6, 34 and 37. From the southern edge of the city centre (Prado de San Sebastián), catch bus 1 (to Glorieta Plus Ultra), 34 (to Los Bermejales), or 37 (to Bellvista). From the bus station in the west of the centre, take bus 6 to Glorieta Heliopolis. The bus runs (partly) over the west bank of the river. From the northern edge of the centre and eastern parts of the city you can catch bus 2 to Glorieta Heliopolis. There is no direct bus connection from Seville’s central rail station to the stadium, but bus 1 passes about 500 metres west of the station and bus 2 about 1 kilometres north-east of the station. All buses have very frequent service. Bus 1, 2, and 6 have their last stop near the stadium. Estadio Benito Villamarin is located in a quiet residential area. There is the odd bar and restaurant around, mostly in the area toward the river, but you are likely better off eating and drinking in Seville’s historic centre. There are a few hotels hotels around Estadio Benito Villamarin. Hotel Silken Al-Andalus Palace is located 200 metres from the stadium, gets good reviews, and is reasonably priced. Boutique Hotel Holos is a little more expensive, while Hotel Sevilla Palmero is somewhat further away, though still easily at walking distance. If you have more money to spend, then Villa de la Palmera will likely be your pick, and hostel Albergue Interjoven is for those on a tight budget.

The match day experience is quite impressive. Hearing the crowd sing the hymn of Betis together is quite powerful and the energy didn’t change throughout the match. If you have time to catch a match while in Sevilla, you must!
