One of the nicest beaches on the island. Yes small but quite. water is nice at least it was in september beginning of october. Keep in mind the winds do change with the 2 seasons.

I've been so far to anse cocos, anse marron, anse source d'argent, grand anse, petite anse, anse severe and my conclusion is that anse patates was the best one. low tide is not so disturbing even at 12.00 PM when is low tide. the sunny video is made at around 10.00 AM and the cloudy one at 15.00 PM, not the lowest, not the highest water.

Small but breathtaking beach. On sunday you can see local kids jump from the granite boulders into the sea and experience how the locals enjoy a day in paradise. Reggae music and a lot of laughter makes the perfect picture.

A small beach with a beautiful setting . Be aware of the strong waves and the reef that is very close to the beach

Very possibly favourite beach on the island, especially for small children. Sandy entrance to the water and lots of fun to be had with the waves over the rocks.

Fantastic place to visit. Recommended for those who wants to go on excursions beyond Mahé (main island).
