Very beautiful place

We went to Moyenne island (including National Park St.Anne, Fish feeding and snorkeling) for a walkaround the island. After petting tortoises (the seem to like beeing pet on the throat like dogs) there are some awesome viewpoints on the island and a very nice créole barbecue on the only restaurant/bar on it. Luckily, a documentary was filmed about the conservation of Moyenne when we were there and now we seem to be local celebreties 😉 After that, we had about 1h on Round Island to go (yes GO) to Long "Prison" Island over a sandbank! Awesome view and now I can say, I went from one island to the other by foot! Thanks for the crew-everyone was really nice, funny and motivated! I would recommend this trip to everyone! It's worth every whatever-your-currency-should-be!

Boat trip prices are so overpriced now, maybe due to covid but not sure. We struggled to find a day trip with lunch for less than 80euros per person. Crazy expensive! Cheaper to talk to boatsmen on the beach directly and negotiate a deal.

A few lovely pints on the seafront and a takeaway from the chinese around the corner. Hard to beat!

Did a trip for half day; snorkeling and giant tortoise island. Unfortunately it rained very heavily for the tortoises and not possible. The guys doing the tour were great, informative and very polite.

The Marine Charter is your go to place for all services related to cruising on the Indian Ocean. It is based on Mahe Island and from there, you can hire a boat to the other Islands (Praslin or La Digue). Very easy to locate as it is close to the road and easily accessible. There are a couple of nice restaurants close by too so you can just sit and enjoy a good view by the harbour. During my visit, I captured some crabs playing a little sport (see image)😀.
