We ate at most restaurants on this side of the island and this is the one we eventually returned to many times, you can stop looking. Prices were pretty much within the range of all restaurants but the food was a step above all other places we visited. It has a menu with all kinds of local foods, decent portions, the only good breakfast option we have found. Came here 5 times and never found something we didn't enjoy. Service has been great and very attentive, taking time to explain dishes or just share a laugh. Dirty fries are really good, tasty local flavours.

We had been to the lobster bay restaurant for dinner and we can highly recommend the restaurant to everyone. The owner and the staff are very nice, attentive and concerned about our well being. We had the lobster, tiger prawns and the red snapper sashimi, and each dish was a delight. The highlight might be the lobster sauce, created by the owners wife. We had no chance to get behind the secret. We had a great evening with great food, delicious cocktails and nice conversations. We definitely return for dinner the next days.

Reservations recommended - we saw some walk-ins seated outside, and other folks turned away. Curries were great, lots of flavor. Burgers were ok, quite large with a massive bun but a little dense; fries could be crispier. Pizza was our least favorite option. Earlier may be better - ordering after 7p seems to be a 45+ min wait most nights.

Good restaurant, really big portions of food, however food was just good. The octopus was big, but dry and chewy. The mixed grill of sea food extravaganza was good, but the fish was too dry. The cocktails were good. Overall, a good experience, but could be better.

Had lunch here three times so tried half of the menu perhaps! Absolutely delicious baked lobster and red snapper sashimi. Was our go to place while in Praslin. A very hospitable owner and excellent service. We miss our lobster already!

Came here 4 times, two for breakfast and two for dinner - it's basically the only viable option on this side of the island, especially for breakfast. Service is friendly, and generally fast. One night they were struggling for some reason, made us wait a bit, but offered beers to apologize. It was a blessing in the morning since it seems like coffee isn't a thing on this island! However, prices are so high. One day we had two cappuccino and one oat bowl and paid 28€... it hurt. The rest of the menu is ok, I liked the fried calamari but I didn't particularly like the fish burger as it was soggy

Outside of the resorts this is literally likely one of, if not the, best locally owned restaurant. The food was superb and the serving sizes made the price seem inexpensive. The lobster was fresh and perfectly made. Only advise I’d give to the owners is invest in a cocktail shaker lol

Reasonably-priced for Praslin. The food was pretty good on the whole; the Bolognese was pretty good, if a little sweet, and the brulee and coconut ice cream were some of the best food we've had on the trip so far. Janitha is delightful! He made us feel very welcome. We came back a second time, because of the value for money, and because of Janitha :).

Absolutely amazing food, even better hosts! We ordered pizza and fish, both of them were very nicely made and served beautifully. Shereen and Stephen were absolutely adorable. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Seychelles. There are plenty options for vegetarians as well.

Tried this restaurant yesterday and trust me this was a very good choice that our local driver recommended! The couple directing this restaurant are adorable and the food was fresh, really generous and extremely tasty! Do not hesitate!! ❤️

I dined here last night after looking through options around the island. I ordered the rabbit fish with creole sauce, breadfruit, and salad, and it did not disappoint! What really made the meal were the friendly staff - Karine and Stephen went out of their way to make sure I was happy at all points through my dinner. I’ll be back to try the octopus next ☺️ [Pricing was around $34 USD for the meal and an iced tea, which is fair as far as Seychelles food (restaurant) pricing goes.]

Lovely place with an amazing chefs ! We came for dinner, ordered grilled octopus and lobster pasta, both very delicious. Personally, that was the best octopus I have ever had, and I tried so many restaurants! Thank you !

Very good catch of the day. Mango salad was exquisite. I ate here two times, for lunch/dinner, I did not like that the waiter did not mention that the portion we ordered is to big for one person.

A very nice place, I recommend it to everyone! We were alone with my husband, celebrating his birthday, and ordered a plate of seafood for two people with white wine included. We were served amazing, deliciously cooked and fresh seafood with the most delicate sauce. As a compliment from the restaurant and to celebrate our birthday, we were brought dessert with a candle! I want to mention the excellent attitude of the staff to the guests and the best seafood I have ever eaten!

The Lobster Bay Restaurant is excellent. The food are very delicious and the portion is worth the price paying. The owners Stephan and Shereen are simply amazing, always offering the best service. The ambiance is good as well. I will highly recommend this place.

It was our first restaurant that we were visited when we arrived to the island. And then we have been visiting it every day during our stay on Praslin. The food was spectacular and the stuff is super friendly. We felt welcome there. I have never tried better mussels then in that place.

This is by far the best place on the island. Had a wonderful family dinner last Saturday night. They had the most wonderful vibe with great service and the most affordable seafood restaurant around. Simply the best. Keep up the good work guys
