I'm so disappointed and shocked to see the disc golf baskets removed from this great course! Why??? I'm leaving my original 5-star review for the former course below, but as of my visit 5-20-20, the baskets were torn out. "The course is really fun, well laid out and has nice options for beginner or advanced players by using two distinctly different (and we'll diagrammed) sets of tee boxes that create different lengths and passages through trees. No noticeable elevations (it is Illinois, after all) or water hazards. The beautiful concrete tee boxes, good signage, hanging and elevated baskets all complete the good experience. Great for families, and someone even just put in new benches! Thank you!" Now, it's all gone. Why?

really cool place

Very peaceful park, didn't catch any fish but it was nice, calm and relaxing!

Amazing park with great all round Frisbee gold course. New concrete tees for the course as of a few weeks ago! In addition, there is camping, trails, it's on the Kankakee river, and there is a pavilion along with Porto john's. Definitely check this place as its a hidden gem.

No camping?? Google needs to be updated and if you didn't already know you need a permit to camp almost anywhere in IL which is sad expecally to us out of staters who don't have money for a hotel. The park seemed pretty. just underwhelming after thinking I could camp

Beautiful place for taking a walk by the river. It also has camping.

Zen-like setting abutting the cleanest river in Illinois. Chicago doesn't exist here and that's good.

There's a nice view and trails nearby. However, camping is closed and the electric is shut off at the picnic area. You can still picnic here, just hope your phone don't die. There's also frisbee golf and an entrance to the boat ramp.

It's been neglected. Grass is long. Weeds are overgrown. Potholes in the drive. Pavilion is in rough shape. Very sad to see this area decline.
