I
am
writing
under
extremely
distressing
circumstances.
My
father,
SK
Chadha,
was
under
the
care
of
Max
Super
Specialty
Hospital,
Patparganj,
and
I
am
writing
to
express
grave
concerns
and
circumstances
leading
to
his
unfortunate
demise.
1)
November
30,
2023-He
was
in
ICU,
9th
floor
C
wing,
my
father
told
me
that
on
this
night,
he
reported
excruciating
pain
between
10
pm
to
6
am.
Despite
repeated
calls
for
assistance,
he
received
no
response.
His
exact
words
were,
"Beta
ye
ek
dum
3rd
class
ICU
hai,
isse
jyada
to
room
me
care
karte
hai."
(this
is
a
3rd
class
ICU,
it's
even
worse
than
the
normal
room).
This
lack
of
immediate
attention
and
apparent
disregard
for
his
suffering
in
an
ICU
deeply
concerns
me.
2)
December
1,
2023:
Following
physician
instructions
to
move
to
a
room
at
12
pm,
my
father
was
left
without
a
room
until
5
pm.
After
obtaining
references
within
the
hospital,
we
secured
a
room
around
6:30-6:45
pm.
Shockingly,
the
room
wasnβt
prepared
until
7:45
pm.
I
met
him
at
5:30
pm
and
he
was
completely
fine.
Subsequently,
when
I
inquired
about
transferring
him
from
the
ICU,
a
nurse
informed
me
that
transfers
were
not
conducted
after
8
pm,
now
they
will
transfer
tomorrow
morning
after
10
am
.
I
am
baffled
by
such
a
rule
that
seemingly
prioritizes
bureaucracy
over
urgent
patient
needs.
3)
December
1
(after
8pm)
and
December
2,
2023:
Anticipating
a
shift
to
the
room
on
this
day,
my
father's
hope
was
shattered.
This
disappointment
led
to
significant
emotional
distress,
which
I
strongly
believe
contributed
to
his
deteriorating
health
and
subsequent
demise.
Upon
receiving
a
call
at
3:30
am
that
my
father
is
not
well,
"Nurse/Dr-can
we
put
him
on
a
ventilator",
we
said
yes
please
do
whatever
you
can
do
to
save
him,
and
we
reached
the
hospital
by
approximately
3:50-4
am,
I
suspect
my
father
had
already
passed
away
by
then.
The
CPR
administered
seemed
futile,
almost
as
if
it
were
a
formality,
while
Dr.
Tanveer
(to
the
best
of
my
knowledge)
stood
by
and
nurses
were
performing
the
CPR.This
prompts
serious
concerns
about
the
extent
of
efforts
undertaken
to
save
my
father's
life.
4)
December
2,
early
morning-
There
was
a
distressing
delay
in
receiving
my
father's
body
after
his
passing
at
4:20
am.
Despite
the
time
of
his
passing,
we
encountered
a
five-hour
delay
in
receiving
his
body
until
9:30
am,
which
deeply
troubled
our
family.
This
extended
wait,
especially
if
related
to
settling
a
INR
440
balance,
is
distressing.
Our
emotional
strain
was
exacerbated
by
the
extended
hospital
stay.
Though
we
were
told
that
it
won't
take
more
than
2-2.5
hours.
I
am
utterly
devastated
by
the
loss
of
my
father,
and
I
am
determined
to
ensure
that
his
tragic
death
won't
go
in
vain.
I
respectfully
request
a
thorough
investigation
into
these
events
and
a
detailed
explanation
of
the
protocols
followed
during
my
father's
care.
Furthermore,
I
am
resolved
to
pursue
necessary
actions
to
seek
justice
for
my
father's
untimely
demise
and
to
ensure
that
such
lapses
in
patient
care
do
not
recur
within
your
esteemed
institution.
I
request
below
things:
1)
Strict
action
agaiest
Max
Super
Specialty
Hospital,
Patparganj
so
that
it
won't
happen
again
with
someone
else.
2)
Priorities
should
be
given
based
on
patient
health
rather
than
hospital
internal
rules
3)
In
case
of
a
death,
patient
body
should
be
handed
over
to
the
family
as
soon
as
possible
rather
than
after
recovering
balacne
money
from
the
patient
family
4)
If
possible
install
in
camaras
in
hospitals
ICU,
so
everyone
can
know
the
truth.
It's
my
humble
request
to
please
help
and
look
into
this
matter
asap,
so
that
other
patient
can
get
better
care
and
treatment.
