Given the food taste, ambience and infra (Seating arrangement, Furniture, Facilities, Crockery), the place is exorbitantly priced. Oh come on, one mutton seekh kebab at INR 150 that's almost $2.5, that's the price of a full meal in an organised chain with a non-vegetarian steak or patty alongwith fries and something to drink (a basic one). If "The seekh kebab" would have been tasteful, the pricing were to be understood, but they prepare seekh kebab which is readymade sourced from Qureshi Kebab Corner (Sameer Qureshi Mutton & Chicken Corner) at Arjuna Marg. They just do some cooking on charcoal by applying red coloured tasteless sauce to give there Kashmiri Color. And charge more than double the price. It's not just this item but more or less all dishes has similar tone of preparation barring some 2-3. Oh, come on in this heat restaurant doesn't have power backup and they don't switch on AC even customer has placed ordered for more than 5K on a table. They want every seat to be occupied to switch on their AC. With the rate they have, who keeps Air Cooling in this scorching heat of Gurgaon? Cost at your own risk or if you have a very bad taste of non-vegetarian. Good Luck.

Kashmiri Kitchen on MG Road has no dedicated parking facilities. Plus we could only spot three tables for diners. But if one can overcome logistics issues like above, the food is a delight. We ordered “Kokur Yakhni” – succulent chicken pieces cooked in a light gravy of curd with an added aroma of saffron, pepper and other Kashmiri seasoning. The dish was very simple and low on spices. Along with that we ordered tandoori roti that they procured from outside. On the side we had Kahwa – The-Oh-So-Famous Kashmiri tea. This was mildly sweet, fragrant with cardamom, saffron and had almond slivers floating in it. A little piece of heaven. For dessert we had “Zafran Phirin” ( firni ) – A rice pudding, cooked, smelt and tasted just perfect. A delightful end to a rich but guiltless Indian dinner… and yes they do play some Kashmiri music too (But I wonder why on a computer?????).

Amazing food.. very close to Kashmiri wazwan in Srinagar! You may not get impressed with the ambience but as they say .. Do not judge the book by its cover ;) However the change in pricing is not meeting the expectation of Kashmiri hospitality.

Stop fooling people on the pretext of ‘Kashmiri Cuisine’. Pricing is never an issue if food is worth it. I ordered biryani and I was expecting something as we have back in kashmir but to my surprise they delivered muradabadi biryani which you can find on every nook and corner of street for INR 100 and they charged me INR 350 for same. Worst experience ever.

First things first , the food is average . Quite far from the authentic kashmiri wazwan . The location is decent , however the interiors and the furniture etc is pretty poor . The owner could have done a better job at it . Probably their main target is the take-away crowd. Having said that , my experience of the place wasn't great . Not worth a second visit !

Exquisite food is what you should come here for. Quality has remained consistent for years and supervised by the lady owner with care.

Hi People, I visited Kashmiri kitchen this month n The first thing I noticed that it basically is a take away place rather than a dining place. The menu has authentic Kashmiri as well as Tandoori options. The food was somehow lacking in spices n taste wise was average. I am giving a review based on their competitors like Matamaal and Khyen Chen where the food and the ambiance is great. Also because I have had a wazwaan in a wedding in Kashmir I think the food needs a little more spice. I ordered a Trami from their menu which gives whole lot of options . It is more like a buffet which starts from starters placed on a mountain of rice and then the main course dishes keep coming. I really appreciate that they have the Trami option in their menu. The best part is that they deliver food till Faridabad as well.. that's awesome. I wish they work a little more on making it a fine dining place and as well as on the food. That's why I will give them 3 stars for now . Wish them good luck .

Mrs Khan told me you will get a good experience with us however I would say it was pathetic . I haven't ever seen a chicken coocked like that by a Kashmiri chef. It was just boiled and mixed with the colour and oil. there were no chillies at all not even any kind a spices. I don't know what made that to call something Mirch chicken Korma... No doubt Rista was fabulous..No complain for that and tabakhmaaz as well upto the mark.. Kabab was also something worst I ever experienced. I am just very upset with this kind a food choice I made.. I really won't recommend anyone to have either Kabab or chicken. You better choose Rista that is Worth of something you pay.. Thank you Javid Noor Sheikh. Charge a customer as much as you want but cook something worth it. It was just a start with you but I am sorry won't repeat this mistake again.. I usually don't leave a feedback but it was for my team and I wanted them to feel WOW ...But they just felt ok that too probably to keep my heart.. .. which I didn't want .. Anyway thank you for your service Mrs Khan.
