Small yet beautiful waterfall. Need to trek around 1km for a beautiful, peaceful and less crowded view. The trek is easy. No place to change clothes if you are planning to take a dip in the fall. If you want lesser crowd, avoid going there in weekends.

This waterfall is so beautiful, I'll suggest if you are more than 55years old then you should not visit this as there are uneven stairs, but to all the youngsters I'll definitely recommend this waterfall. I think there are 3 levels (kind of) I went to the second one and that one felt like I'm in some pool in between nature 😍 It was legit 😍 Best time to visit will be in the morning, because there won't be crowd then.

Neergarh waterfall is very beautiful waterfall to visit. There are lot of peoples on weekends so, I do not recommend to go on weekends. Vehicles can go up on top but I do not recommend to do that, trek to the waterfall is a very good option to reach at waterfall. Maggie point is also there on top.

Its a very beautiful Waterfall. There are steps, you keep moving up and you keep watching better and better waterfalls. Although the source is same but the higher you trek the better waterfall view you get. Its not that tough to climb, It will take 20-25 minutes max on ease.

    - A beautiful place to visit when in Rishikesh - I recommend to walk up to the place from Tapovan. Feels like a little hike. - The Waterfall has tiers. So, please don’t miss out. Ask the locals & climb up. - Might get a little crowded. But you shall find vantage points to click photographs without the crowd. - Make sure you carry extra clothes & towel if you plan to take a dip. - Little shops sell tea & snacks. - As you climb, ask the locals for a hike within the surrounding forest. You may even find a hidden waterfall without the crowd.

Best place near rishikesh. You can also go there by taking activa or any two wheeler, The waterfall is good and very safe place to visit. One can take beautiful bath at waterfall. There is also natural zeel at the waterfall where you can swim with natural water. Best natural place to visit while you are at rishikesh. You can enjoy this place with family and kids. Everybody should mist visit this place. Water is coming directly from the hills. I just love this beautiful place. Dont forget to have Maggie or tea after having bath at waterfall.

Discovering tranquility at Neer Waterfalls during the summer months feels as rare as spotting a blue moon on a moonless night. Unfortunately, this picturesque place is often crowded with tourists engaging in inappropriate swimming activities within the waterfall catchment pools😑. Fortunately, after some effort, I managed to find a secluded spot away from the chaos. However, reaching this spot was challenging and potentially hazardous⚠️. The hike to the waterfall's top is steep and lacks proper safety measures. The absence of handrails and the presence of loose pebbles on the path make it quite slippery. It's important to exercise caution, as slipping could result in a dangerous 20-feet drop into the waterfall. Nonetheless, once you reach the top, the serenity you find is worth the effort. One aspect that left a negative impression on me is the excessive commercialization of this natural wonder. It's disheartening that visitors are required to purchase tickets for hiking to the waterfall. The question arises, do we really need to pay to access such natural beauty? Despite the ticketing system, I was disappointed to witness little evidence of where that money was being utilized. It is disheartening to see some individuals showing a complete lack of respect for the environment, littering plastic bottles and snack wrappers without using the designated trash bins. Shockingly, no action was taken against these offenders, despite the presence of a nearby policeman. Public transport availability to Neer Waterfall is limited, but options do exist. Buses and shared jeeps are the most common modes of transportation to reach Rishikesh, and from there, you can hire a private taxi or auto-rickshaw to take you to the waterfall. It is advisable to plan your trip in advance and inquire about the transportation options available to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey." Remember to check the availability and accuracy of public transport options to Neer Waterfall in Rishikesh as per the current information before your visit, as details may vary over time.

Such a nice place, charges Rs.30/person, avoid walking if u are heart patient, take private tax or cab, Maggie point is everywhere on uphill. There are so many small waterfalls but the first one and the last one are much better than the middle ones. The height of the upper waterfall is around 1km from the first one and it requires a lot of stamina and strength, so heart patients should avoid this climbing. If you are an army person then no need to pay, just get another staff pass.

I visited Neer Waterfall last weekend. It's a beautiful waterfall, but you do need to walk uphill for 400 meters to witness this stunning sight. However, it can get quite crowded on weekends, so I recommend visiting on weekdays for the best experience.

Neer Waterfall in Rishikesh is a renowned attraction, known for its cascading beauty. It boasts multiple smaller waterfalls, with the main one located approximately 500m from the base. During weekends, it attracts a massive influx of visitors, creating a vibrant and bustling atmosphere around this natural marvel.

What a place . The place has lush green mountains giving it a very earthy feel . Clean and crystal water coming from mountain is sight to the sore eyes. Only 4 km from tapovan this is a must visit place for family and kids. Be prepared for the delicious maggi served near by the water fall . Also take an extra pair of clothes because you will definitely want to take a dive to water . Beautiful walk up! There are several places to stop and enjoy nature along the path. And plenty of refreshment stands. We have to go back with shorts for getting into the COLD water! 🥶 Only a little trash here and there. Not too bad. 🌏✌️ Its a very beautiful Waterfall. There are steps, you keep moving up and you keep watching better and better waterfalls. Although the source is same but the higher you trek the better waterfall view you get. Its not that tough to climb, It will take 20-25 minutes max on ease.

It is beautiful waterfalls with several steps. You can hike 2km to reach the top. There are two natural swimming pools, one at the middle and one at the end of the hike. Both are very clear and beautiful.

This place has an entry ticket of Rs 30. No support or facilities from govt departments. It is a trek in which many little pond with water stream are there to enjoy bath. But do take care there are no changing or locker rooms. You are on your own. So, do wear sports shoes for trekking. There are many Maggie and Shikanji points. Please don't litter or throw garbage in hills. It is our responsibility to keep it clean. Carry you garbage in your bags.

Its a waterfull you can visit while traveling to tapovan. Waterfall is not that much big. Water of waterfall is not clean that much because people bath here. Also, you need to do trekking around 1km to see the top of this waterfall. After so much of trekking if don't find the place worthy that means time and energy both waste. Attaching pics for the reference. Entry ticket 20rs per person it may vary.

I absolutely loved the trek to the waterfall. The views were amazing. However, I found it a bit crowded. I also saw a lot of plastic bottles and polybags lying around. It was aggravating. How can people be so negligent and careless? It doesn't take much effort to bring your waste down with you.

One of the best attraction in Rishikesh. So thrilling and Enjoyable. The fresh water coming down from the mountains give you very fresh vibes. This place is also little crowdy because a lot of people visit there. But you can have a quite place too by hiking to the higher points of waterfall. There is almost 1 Km hike Frome the base pool of the waterfall to the top pool, and there are a lot of small pools in between. You should visit there if you are not afraid of water.

Nice walk up the ridge, with several waterfalls along the way, as well as nice pools for bathing. One can walk all the way from Tapovan, about 10 km from the edge of Tapovan to the top waterfall and back. A fee is charged at the beginning of the path. Foreigners are charged 50 Rupees, Indians are charged 30 Rupees. At a certain point in time during the afternoon, there are no guards so the entrance would be free. Unfortunately there are food stands at the most beautiful places...

Neergarh waterfall is located in close proximity to the popular spots of Rishikesh, such as Lakshman Jhoola and Ram Jhoola, which are approximately 8 km away and take around 30 minutes to reach due to the mountainous terrain. Visitors can reach the waterfall by their own vehicle or by booking a car from the readily available services located on the nearby roads. There is a ticket station located midway to the main spot where visitors can purchase tickets to enter and enjoy the waterfall. Visitors with their own vehicles can enjoy the place for as long as they want, but those who book a car have a time constraint of about 4-5 hours, as the drivers have to drop them off at the previous spot from where they were picked up. Despite this, the place is beautiful and offers a sense of exploration. Visitors can find water bodies to bathe or play in just a few steps away. The best part is that there is a washroom provided for females to change their clothes in privacy before enjoying the water. The area becomes more interesting as visitors climb higher, revealing hidden water bodies where they can take gorgeous photos and enjoy themselves. It's surprising to find others enjoying these hidden spots, but visitors are sure to find someone there. Overall, Neergarh waterfall is a must-visit place for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts looking for a peaceful escape from the city's chaos. The place is well-maintained and provides all necessary facilities for visitors.

The less crowded-yet beautiful waterfall location. Must try: Eating maggie with waterfall on your back can be a great delightful experience. Due to less crowd you get to enjoy the peaceful sounds of water a lot! Not many people know about this location. You can take car to visit but will have to park at around 300-400 meters away from where you will have to walk.

It was quite beautiful, except for the crowds of slightly intoxicated men, bathing in the cold waters. We also took out our pet cat for the hike and he loved it. Turns out, pet dogs and cats are allowed, but not inside the waters.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the water fall in Rishikesh, and I must say that it was a beautiful experience. The waterfall itself was stunning, with crystal clear water cascading down a cliff, surrounded by lush green forests. The view from the top of the waterfall was breathtaking, and I was able to take some amazing photographs of the scenery. What made the experience even better was the availability of delicious food, including noodles, at the waterfall. The noodles were made fresh and were served hot, and they were the perfect snack to enjoy while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The vendors were friendly and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. In addition to the stunning waterfall and delicious food, there were also several activities available for visitors to participate in. There was a tracking that crossed the river, which was a fun and unique experience. The area around the waterfall was well maintained, and there were several benches available for visitors to relax and enjoy the view. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting the water fall in Rishikesh for anyone who loves nature and outdoor activities. The beautiful scenery, delicious food, and fun activities make it an ideal destination for families and friends. Whether you want to relax and enjoy the view, or engage in some fun and adventurous activities, this waterfall has something for everyone

A very beautiful series of pools created by water falling off the mountain cliff. The water emerges at the top of the mountain in the jungle as a spring. The water is super clear and the rocks underneath have turned a peculiar colour due to the chemistry of the ground water. One can swim easily and safely in any of the pools. Lots of shacks serve basic tea and snacks. The climb is slightly tough due to slippery and smoothened rocks. Must visit to experience this natural sight. A forest entry ticket is applicable per person.
