I can't say enough great things about Tall Oaks. We had our wedding here in May and it was the most magical day. From our first visit to waking up the day after our wedding at the Carriage House, Tall Oaks made us feel confident about our dream wedding. Laura and her team thought of every detail. They made the tasting dinner fun as we got to try a variety of mains and sides dishes. They are so organized and for a bride like me who feels calm with details it made me at peace. We got to laugh during our rehearsal which really got rid of our nerves and made day of that much easier. As a bride, I was so thankful that they had a very spacious area for the bridesmaids and I to get ready with hair and makeup and then the groomsmen had their man cave where they played games and relaxed for the day. We stayed at the Carriage House which is so beautiful and made it easy to relax after the wedding. We woke up to birds chirping as we took some alone time drinking coffee on the patio to our suite. The team checked in on us multiple times throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed and made me feel so stunning and special. We chose to have the day of decorating and it was a huge weight off our shoulders. They made our plans come to life and it was absolutely beautiful. Weeks later, we are still hearing about how amazing the food was, how beautiful of a venue, and how smoothly and wonderful the wedding was. We could not have done it without this amazing team! I attended the fish fry and thought the food was really good. Started out with a nice spread of appetizers and then we had our dinner. The portions were very generous and everything tasted really good. Then after dinner, we had the the ice cream dessert bar. That was very nice too! We had a really nice evening, with great food and was entertained by a great band in a beautiful place. Great Fish Fry, I will definitely go again.

I travel for a living and this place is a MUST STAY! Never have I been so well attended to. Everything is new and beautiful and the amenities are incredible. Arcade games, amazing shared rec spaces, beautiful outdoor relaxation, soooo much to do within 10-15 minutes. I WILL be back to stay here with my family. AMAZING place to stay. Just book here, you won’t regret it.

My wife and I attended an outstanding wedding at the unique Tall Oaks Resort. Beautiful grounds with many attractions that made the night memorable for all. Very attentive staff. Great experience.

Our family stayed here for a visit to Kirtland area. Overall it is a great place owned by a cute family. This is a long review, but in short, we'd recommend it. Here are things we enjoyed and things that were neutral-- truly not bad, just things we noticed. We checked in late and luckily had someone there doing some maintenance work outside, he showed us to our rooms and was very kind! He told us about Kirtland Creamery down the street-- delicious!! There was a slight misunderstanding- there are 10 rooms and a common area- we thought we were the only ones there so we were playing the arcade games and chatting before bed when we found out there was another couple in one of the rooms. Tall Oaks staff/family took care of the situation, but just note that if you aren't renting the whole cottage, there may be some awkward moments with other guests. There is no freezer or toaster, both of which we would have used, but lived without. There is a giant fridge, 2 dishwashers, an oven, and plenty of kitchen supplies. The table easily fits 12 people and the counter fits 6-8. Two of the arcade games don't work well/ turn on, and the air hockey table never worked-- also fine, just a note. The beds and blankets were wonderful! The pillows were not. No one in our group liked them, they are huge. The bathroom lights are motion sensored, which was fine at first, but 2 or 3 minutes into the shower you lose light and have to open the shower door to turn it back on. Not terrible, just odd. We all said we'd prefer a switch. It is close to historic Kirtland and seemed reasonably priced. The venue is beautiful! We thought they could use a sign on the main road to make finding it easier, but GPS took us right to it. The family is sweet. Communication via email was a bit slow, but all communication was always kind and respectful. We hope the very best for Tall Oaks family!

We had our wedding here and everything came out wonderfully! From the beautiful venue with the amazing atmosphere to the delicious food and amazing people who made it all happen! Overall great experience, we did not stay in the rooms, but they are very nice! Highly recommend this venue and highly recommend utilizing the back patio area for cocktail hour!

Stayed here for business in Cleveland. This place appears to be brand new (2023). It's a great place to stay. The beds, especially the pillows, are very nice. Kirtland is an interesting little town. EVERYTHING you need is in walking distance from Tall Oaks.

I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than Tall Oaks! Everyone was so easy to work with, the food was amazing and having the Carriage House next door for my guests was so convenient & fun! The Carriage House is definitely one of the perks that made this venue stand out compared to the rest. Tall Oaks staff really made the day run so smooth by meeting with us consistently and always being available for questions during the planning process. I highly recommend booking your wedding here!

Beautiful venue and the food was delicious! The team at Talk Oaks was efficient and very easy to work with. The carriage house allowed us and our guests to spend the night and not have to worry about driving. Would definitely recommend Tall Oaks for your future wedding!

I recently attended a small, intimate event at Tall Oaks and had a wonderful experience. The setting was perfect for our small event. The food was absolutely wonderful, the ambiance superb. The staff were attentive to our needs.

I had my wedding reception here in July, 2023. My wife and I are very, very happy with this venue. They were helpful along the way with respect to planning. They are organized and they schedule meetings during the months preceding and as the big day approaches. Shoutout to Laura Toprani, she knows what she is doing and is on top of things. The night-of, they were very helpful with setting up, working with our wedding coordinator, serving the guests, and some of them even came out to dance during the night. They went above & beyond expectations. The venue was clean and looked beautiful. We received many compliments from the guests about how nice it was. The wood, ski-lodge vibe is great. The owners seem down to earth and reasonable. We stayed in the Inn, which was nice and a great place to get ready for the men and women. The grounds provide for very nice pictures. Our only issue is from the time we booked the venue, to the day of, at some point management was shaken up (for the better), but during that time the alcohol switched from being provided by Tall Oaks to BYOB, and we weren't made aware. It luckily came up in a meeting when talking about our signature cocktails. This was certainly an issue from the previous management and not the current. So make sure you understand the alcohol situation, and I doubt this would happen again. We definitely recommend Tall Oaks for your wedding!

As a wedding DJ, I have seen a lot of wedding venues and I have to say, Tall Oaks is top notch!! I had the opportunity to work with Wendy, Lauren and Dan twice in the last two weeks and they were fantastic to work with. More importantly, we all partnered together to make sure the day was perfect for the new couple, their families and all the guests. The building is beautiful, well decorated, great food and the service was spectacular. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a venue and I'd come back to work with them any time!

My book club enjoyed a Wednesday night meeting and dinner along with an overnight stay in the Carriage House. The in house chef created outstanding appetizers to go along with a fabulous meal. We sat outside by the fireplace discussing our book and even thought it was raining, we were dry and comfortable by the fire. We moved into the Carriage House at sunset to find beautifully decorated rooms, a full kitchen, and lots of entertainment. In the morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds. This was such a fabulous stay. Thanks to all at Tall Oaks Barn for making our stay so memorable.

I recently stayed at Tall Oaks for a special event with my girlfriends. I cannot say enough about this venue. The chef created a special meal for us that was outstanding by any standards. The gathering areas both inside and outside create a warm and inviting atmosphere. We spent the night at The Carriage House Inn and the rooms are large and decorated impeccably. The common areas of the Inn are also lovely and offers lots of entertainment from large screen televisions to video arcade games. Tall oaks is a first class venue that I highly recommend for a wedding, special event, overnight stay or anytime that you want to create beautiful memories with family and friends.

A truly magical day and Laura the event coordinator was on point with every detail the entire day. Everything went smoothly and accordingly we had so much fun! The rooms were spotless the food was amazing, and the staff was very professional. All in all so please with our experience.
