5/5 W. Dyer H. 6 years ago on Google
I
wavered
between
four
and
five
stars,
but
went
with
five
because
of
the
friendliness
of
those
friendly
members
of
the
hotel
team
and
because
of
the
room
and
view.
When
you
open
those
giant
windows
and
look
out
unto
the
neon
glow
of
the
Shanghai
skyline...wow.
The
room
itself
is
cool
too.
I'm
a
sucker
for
the
misting
glass
that
separates
the
bathroom
from
the
bedroom.
Bed
was
ultra
comfortable.
My
hesitation
to
give
five
stars
comes
from
the
feeling
you
get
that
the
hotel
has
a
paint
job
of
accomplishment
sometimes.
The
heated
pool
is
coldish,
the
sauna
is
just
a
warm
box,
the
fruit
in
the
room
was
delicious
but
never
refilled.
It's
all
tiny
stuff
-
and,
I
mean,
you're
being
treated
pretty
damn
well
-
but
if
you
want
to
be
the
top
of
the
hotel
charts,
you
got
to
be
flawless.
But,
without
a
doubt,
stay
here
for
a
pretty
fantastic
luxury
experience.
