This place deserves a michelin star, what an incredible experience this was! We were with a big group so we were located at a private room, and we got our own waiters assigned to us. Someone was watching us, refilling wine and even cleaning our napkins from the bread crumbs! The food was so luxury in taste, wow... Come and taste this heavenly food!

An amazing experience for dinning in Shanghi. The ambience is very classy, the service is excellent and friendly, and the food is outstanding. The Dim Sum Platter is a must. Highly recommend it for an extraordinary dinning experience in Shanghi.

A high-end experience of SHANGHAI along the BUND. Exquisite atmosphere and feeling, genuine design. Definitely this is one of the most representatives landmarks of Shanghai Center. Located on the 5th floor of an eclectic heritage building, the space provide exceptional panoramic views above Pudong, more spectacular during the night time. Duck was a good choice as an authentic Chinese food. Prices accordingly in balance with the high standard of this unique service and environment.

One of the nicest Hakkasan restaurants I have been to. The atmosphere is like any other Hakkasan with a nice Chinese decoration atmosphere. The staff were very kind and welcoming, willing to assist you with the food choices and catering to your needs. The food was absolutely perfect. Great Chinese food with a modern twist that stays true to the original flavours.

Cantonese fine dining overlooking the bund. We booked the restaurant for dinner and the staff escorted us to this comfortable seat with beautiful night view by the window for us. But time limit for the table was 2 hours, which was enough for the meal. Mostly we tried signature dishes and found that they were all delicious. Unlike some other fine dining restaurant, you can dress casually here. They staffs were very nice and they explained everything about the food generously. To finish up the meal I tried Yunnan dripped coffee and found that it was better than any other cafes I had tried during the trip. Kudos to Hakkasan!!

Nice ambiance, excellent service. Food was not extraordinary, certainly not for the price. The appetizer and dessert were pretty delightful, but the mains were disapointing. The reason I wouldn't recommend it is that there is certainly better gastronomic experiences for the same price.

great location but overrated restaurant I recently visited this restaurant based on the review from tripadvisor, because of this, i even booked the restaurant 2 weeks before my trip hoping that i would get the table with view and it was my first dinner in Shanghai. The location is great, located right at the bund. My first disappointment was i didn't get the table by the window, hence no view, just noise. I ordered a few dishes (see pictures), taste is average but pricey, and hakkatini, signature martini drink and nothing fancy beside the name of the drink. I soon realized it is very classic restaurant for business. If you have a great business deal to close, this is the restaurant for you.

There are high end Fine dining restaurants in Shanghai but nothing really like Hakkasan. The restaurant fills a unique niche by catering to a crowd that wants a trendy spot to eat high end Chinese food, which serves high end cocktails and western style desserts. The detractors of this restaurant will say it’s not authentic. Those views are missing the point of the restaurant. Hakkasan is a place for a special occasion, a big night out on the town, or to experience and to have Chinese food prepared with unique ingredients. My rating is based on the following: Food: 4 stars Environment: 5 stars Service: 4.5 stars Value: 3.5 stars Recommended dishes: crispy duck with cavier, lemon pot, stir fried A3 Wagyu beef I have been here twice. Once for dinner and once for dim sum. The dim sum was good but not great. There wasn’t anything to innovative or anything that blew my mind. The quality is good and the price is high. I preferred my dinner experience over the dim sum. One thing to avoid is the fried noodles. Really disappointed by this dish. The signature dish at Hakkasan is the crispy duck. This dish is delicious and you can think of it pretty much as Peking Duck with cavier. The real star for me is the lemon pot. I think this is close to a perfect dessert. It is fun and whimsical. A joy to look at and tastes amazing. You get sweet, tart, fat and crunch with this dish. The merengue pairs nicely with the richness of the cream in the pot. The richness of the dish is balanced out by the acidity coming from the lemon. I would come here just to eat this dessert.

Excellent dining experience on the Bund. Food was delicious, drinks were fantastic, atmosphere and view were superb, all in all a wonderful night out. We got the dim sum plates, both regular and vegetarian, as well as the tofu in pumpkin soup, crab salad, Shanghai dumplings, and pork belly buns. My personal favorite of the group was the tofu in pumpkin, because not only was the pumpkin soup and mushrooms delicious, that may have been the best tofu I've ever had. Drinks were great, although several of the food dishes beat them to the table-guess the bartender was busy. I got the coix solero, which was most refreshing. And the desserts were the perfect cap to the meal. Most were fruit-based and all were amazing. I got the coconut and the others got the peach blossom. Add in the fact that you have an amazing view of the Shanghai skyline and Huangpu river, a really classy and upscale atmosphere, and very attentive servers who speak great English (and provide good English menus), and it was a great evening on the Bund.

Came here for the 2018 countdown dinner. Located on the fifth floor. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food were delicious especially the beef, cod fish and the fried rice with abalone. The ambience was nice except the music was a bit loud.

The restaurant’s decorations and atmosphere is very nice with a beautiful view outside. The food is good but I wasn’t wow on any dishes yet. The 10 of us came from the airport and almost didn’t make it at the time of reservation. They wouldn’t take us in if we were to be late. The immigration process took over 2 hours and it is why we we’re almost late. Anyway, we made it and spent a nice time here.
