The air conditioner is very noisy. The housekeeping staff don’t understand an English word. Breakfast is the same everyday. Room lighting is very bad. Actually there are 2 lamps which have a low light and feels like you are in a basement or closet.

No atmosphere. Building smelt of cat pee. Failed to tell me the breakfast finished at 9am so I missed it. No shower curtain so the bathroom flooded when I showered. Bad wifi.. Wouldn't stay again

Small room and the tv kept turning off because it's connected by wifi (weak wifi). Helpful staff and very friendly so that was nice.

As far as hostels go this place is tip too. Free laundry, free breakfast. The beds are sturdy so no crazy squeaking while you are trying to sleep. Some of the staff speak a little bit of a few languages which was a pleasant surprise but obviously not necessary for someone traveling cheap in another country. They have a mix of sit and squat toilets, and toilet paper-which is a rarity! Lots of communal space and private rooms available for about 40usd a night

The other reviews are pretty accurate; the rooms are fine for what you pay, but the various smells (it's a repurposed older building) and the shower flooding situation were a downer. I pretty much avoided breakfast everyday. I have a rule, if it smells like wet socks, the food's probably not that tasty. On a positive note, the location along the river is very good.

Best hostel I stayed at in 3 weeks of travelling, clean private room in a great location. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast wasn't too my liking but that's not their fault. Would stay again.
