It's quite a big Morton with plenty of seats and private rooms. Price is on the high side but it comes with portion. Food is great. Service is another question. The view out of dining room is gorgeous. It's always better to make advanced reservation to get window seats.

Decided to try Morton's on a whim since we were shopping in the area and I had an unusual craving for steak. We arrived fairly early so there was plenty of seating and had a table very quickly. The two stars are for the service staff, all of whom were attentive and provided great service. The food was mediocre at best. This is a Landry's steakhouse. We LOVE Landry's Salt Grass Steakhouse in the states and I'd expect at least close to comparable quality of food considering that this location is an a higher end area of Shanghai. For some reason I simply didn't notice the prices. For two steak dinners , two glasses of wine and a somewhat tasty mocktail, our bill was $330 USD. I sent my filet back twice after ordering medium-well (don't judge me, I don't like my beef mooing at me!). First it arrived about medium-rare and I sent it back. Then it came back at about medium. Sent it back. It came back pretty much well-done and very charred on the outside, rendering it pretty much inedible. We had grilled asparagus and hash browns on the side. Hash browns were extremely salty. I assume it was the manager who apologized profusely and offered us complimentary dessert and coffee, which we appreciated. The creme brulee had wayyy to much toasted sugar on top and the coffee was fine. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief that we paid $330 USD for that meal. I've had meals in Shanghai for about $7 USD that far surpassed the quality and flavor of Morton's. Don't waste your money here, really, don't.

Went here earlier in the year-June 2016. Don't eat beef so was a little skeptical - but then there was nothing else worth it in the mall. Saw its sign everyday walking to work while I was visiting Shanghai We entered from the back entrance and were seated within 30 seconds. 2 of us. We ordered 1 salad, 2 mains, 3 glasses of wine and a dessert. Don't remember the bill but suffice to say agree with some.of the other reviews - it was a bit pricey. I had the sea bass fillet (if my memory serves me correct, in any case it was fish)- it melted in my mouth. Outstanding. The service was impeccable with a smile. Excellent service, outstanding food, but expensive - should have got a 4. But the service was just too good.

Excellent service, food and a stunning view. Is it expensive ? Yes but for the quality of the steak it’s cheaper than similar places within Shanghai. Had the Australian ribeye. Cooked to my taste and the bread, broccoli and mash were on point.

Very well executed American style steakhouse in Shanghai. Service was excellent (a rarity in mainland China), cocktail list was lovely, food was on point (Bone in rib eye, mash, gratin, asparagus, broccoli), wine list was diverse, view was great, atmosphere was perfect (calm and quiet with a well tailored playlist). They had their own, on-site restroom which was awesome, given that normally in Shanghai several business will share the restroom facilities, and it was clean and well kept. One of the best all around dining experiences I have had in Shanghai in the last three years living here.

The dinner itself was delicious. The chopped spinach salad and key lime pie a favorite. The beef was also cooked very well. Portions are really huge, we struggled to finish. Wine by the glass is however quite expensive, it almost turned out cheaper to buy a who bottle rather than two glasses. The staff was very attentive and we never had to wait for our glasses to be topped up or struggle to get the waiters attention.

Ok at best. Had dinner with my wife and for $330 dinner I would expect more. Service was good but the food was mediocre. Great view and if you come early enough or order ahead of time you might be able to get a table to order for better view.

Was there yesterday. Nothing really spectacular but a steak costs at least 100 dollars U.S. and then you still have to add sides and drinks. No reason to go there again. Atmosphere nothing special.
