Came here on a rainy evening, so I didn't get the best view of the skyline, but it was still impressive. This ceiling of thick clouds blocking out what is above despite the amount of lights on the skyline across the river. Food is very american, so great french fries and sliders. Also, their drinks were stellar. I highly recommend the Mai Tai. Also, try to get to the top floor bar and grab an area with couches. Benefits of the rainy night and weekdays is that it wasn't busy at all.

The premises upstairs is a luxurious members-only club, with private rooms, extensive wine vaults, private dining rooms, cigar rooms, etc. It also has a generous view of the Bund. Food is good. Yes, the House of Roosevelt is connected to the Roosevelt family of America through Tweed Roosevelt, who is the great-grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt.

Another stop on the Bourdain Shanghai Tour, The House if Roosevelt didn't disappoint, with service, food and views to rival anywhere in Shanghai. I treated myself to lunch on the 9th Floor (I'm not a Member), and like all the other establishments Bourdain visited in the city, I came away impressed...

Great view of the Bund and Pudong. Drinks are reasonably priced. Book in advance for better seating. Good views from Indoor and outside terrace.

Very good restaurant and it is certainly a wonderful way to get out of the rain. However, it should be clear this is a very classy place and not inexpensive. My son and I ate very reasonably and it was $150 USD, with only one beer. So the "burger and fries" review is accurate, but misleading.
