The hotel is going through a renovation but the noise was kept to a minimum. The service is excellent at the hotel. Many friendly staff and very helpful. I eat the breakfast every day the pancakes are home made in front of you. I did have an issue where the staff did not explain where to take me and the cab driver took me on an $80 taxi ride. The manager talked to his staff and comped me a meal. I am a frequent visitor to Marriotts but every one has a different level of service. Nice place located in a great area of Shanghai near many bars and restaurants. I would stay again and get the breakfast bar every day.

Fantastic hotel, very friendly and welcoming staff, room was clean and well appointed, good bar, cafe and restaurants onsite. Highly recommended!

A bit old China hotel vibes. Service was good. Breakfast was ok. The room was big. But it feels like it can benefit from a renovation. Good hotel to stay in, but not really special.

A nice hotel to stay because it close to my office. Far away from all the tourist hotspots, so it frank to say it wont be my first choice unless I come back here for business purpose again.

I'm a titanium Marriott member , and posibky just experienced the worst Club lounge in the 100's ive visited. food selection very poor, no beer or white wine. To make it worse I ordered a bottle to the room to find out they have No White wine in the entire hotel. 5star Hotel ?not a chance, I had another night booked here for Thursday on my way back but ive cancelled it as I'm disgusted. Rooms are clean and nice its just ur benefits are taken away.

The hotel is pretty good, cost is reasonable for Shanghai rates. Breakfast was good and room service was nice too. The room outside view was okay. Pretty near to Hongqiao station and somewhat far from Pudong airport.

Very comfortable lounge and friendly bar staff. We were here during the Chinese New Year celebrations and the decorations and enthusiasm were fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised at the scale and capability of the Cafe.

It’s a very great hotel but I stayed there 7 years ago for a month since I had a business trip. Bit expensive but their breakfast was top as I remember. There was a bar beside it called Bamboo or somthing. Long time Hope to come and see it how it’s changed
