    Great place for a walk. Good parking. Info boards are detailed and intact giving history of the area. Woods are beautiful. Even a hidden castle to spy

    Could do with a bigger loop walk that is fully pathed but otherwise I really nice walk with great views & attractions

    I like Maughan fort and the woods its just a pity the viewing tower isn't a bit higher the tree tops are grand but the view above the trees must be amazing.

    The site is in its original form no replicas to replace old structures. Great to see and an undisturbed hill fort
