I’m not really sure if €6 per person really justifies the experience, the garden isn’t massive or massively well manicured. On the woodland walk around it there was far too many swarming insects for any comfort at all. The museum was more of a very small collection of some random stuff that was found in the house over the years, it wasn’t presented in a way that made it interesting. The highlight was the doves!

The place is a gem! Wonderfully recreated historical walled garden, with deep history and warm family atmosphere. The hostess is a very welcoming person, passionate about Irish history and plants, gave us a wonderful tour of the garden. Highly recommended to visit as in reality it exceeds expectations you get from the photos!

Fab place to visit, worth the drive! Very well restored Victorian gardens, I really thought I was in Italy when I saw the garden in bloom. Don't miss it!

Oh, what a wonderful garden! I visited today and was lucky enough to have a one to one guided tour with Marie, the Head Gardener, and I also got to meet Marguerite, the owner. Between them , these two ladies have created the most beautiful garden, with a mouthwatering plant collection. Follow the directions carefully, this one is not to be missed!

Generous and warm welcome by the gardners, fortunate enough to arrive at lunch time! The garden itself is about to go into bloom big time and will probably be better enjoyed in late spring, early summer. Marie was generous with her garden knowledge and a great host.

This is a wonderful example of a well kept and well loved walled garden. The head gardener is a hive of information and her enthusiasm shines through.

What a beautiful garden! We have many of the same roses and flowers back home, but they are much healthier and more fragrant here. We really enjoyed the opportunity to learn the secrets from the head gardener.

A beautiful garden full of gorgeous flowers and trees and you can also buy absolutely delicious homemade apple juice! We walked around, enjoyed the beautiful plants and then had a mini picnic. I am really thankful to friendly host Margarita!
