If ordering takeaway, please be prepared to cook your own rice. This is not the first time but it will be the last time we get inedible rice. Tonight I even added a chef note for 'freshly cooked rice' to try avoid disappointment. Instead of mush, this time we got burnt mush.

Very poor food. As much as I say every time I get a takeaway from Kubo… never again, I somehow find myself back there again…maybe after a month or so, after the memories of the last bad meal have faded. But his time there no going back. Over €50 spent of 4 dishes… and such poor quality. The chicken is and has always been dry and over cooked, to the the point of being un- digestible. It seems it may be pre cooked and then re-heated? Such a pity as the flavours are great…being such simple food… with a little attention to detail and care in the the cooking and selection of ingredients, it could be amazing! But no….it’s been open now for I’d say 10-15 years and it hasn’t made any effort to improve. It’s just lazy takaway food… more than likely cooked by very un/motivated cooks who have lost all interest in what’s being cooked. Such a shame… as a place like KUBO has such great potential…with a little care and attention to detail.

Excellent tasty Thai food I ordered the soup po soup I wanted the large but got the small instead of large , about the same size of a pot noodle 🍜 very tasty , make you more hungry nice selection of mains on the menu, will return again

My family and i went there for dinner and it was amazing! really tasty, kind staff, fast service and all of that for affordable prices (especially in the area it’s situated in). The vegetarian options are diverse, and just as tasty as the meat and seafood options. All in all, would recommend 100%

Takeway order. Pad Sa moon Thai was different with a stir fry type spice to it and Massaman curry was wonderful and authentic creamy flavor, one of the best ones Ive had around town. Would definitely get that again from here.

Food is mouthwatering and aromatic served with fresh ingredients. We ordered Tom Yam Goong, a hot soup with lots of spices. Green curry and pad thai are delicous with huhe servings. Ambiance is well lit and relaxed, with parking on the road butihht not be available during peak hours. Not happy about the ice cream machine coz it’s not working when we went there.

Ordered food, over an hour later we still had not received. Rang restaurant to see it was on the way out. They said they would dispatch immedialty. Over an hour went by again and it still had not arrived. Asked them to cancel at this stage. Mistakes happen but they were very rude about the situation and offered nothing to rectify, even an apology would have been nice. Very nice food but not ordering again as this is not the first time something like this has happened

Kubo is our favourite local takeaway. The food is so fresh and tasty. We love the yellow curry and crispy chicken. Also the karri pap are gorgeous! Delivery is quick and always accurate. Also dining in is a nice treat. The staff are excellent. Thank you Kubo!

We had lunch there a few times and it is always delicious, good portions for the price and free ice cream with lunch orders!

Retro spot with yummy food..some interesting choices not found in other areas (don't remember their names unfortunately). All nicely cooked and presented!

We LOVE Kubo ❤️ the menu offers a great variety of dishes, the location is very central and the staff have always been lovely (especially to the kids). Great alternative to Ramen but with a wider selection offered. Only thing that I can think of that would make it perfect is to reintroduce the ice cream machine. Enjoy Kubo great spot to visit.

Updated review (original below): went from 5 stars to 3 because in the most recent order the szechuan fried rice came with pork in it when there is no mention of meat in the description, and meat was also in the vegetable rolls. Incredibly disappointing for a vegetarian. ------- Beautiful food and great value for money. We love the curried fried rice and the szechuan peppercorn beef. The side of potatoes are amazing too!
