An American style. Fast food place? Two things I have to remember when ordering a burger in Ireland is number one bacon on the burger is the Irish bacon and not the American and number two. They put mayonnaise or burger sauce on it. Leaving little room for ketchup. So no bacon cheeseburgers for me. I'll ask for no sauce on it. This is a nice little place to stop and get a quick bite. Inexpensive. Service was fabulous. The people who work there were fabulous. Recommended

This franchise has been extremely disappointing, the delivery was quick, but the root 66 burger was slimmer than any McDonald's single cheese burger I have ever eaten, also a cheese and bacon quarter burger with bacon fries that honestly contained maybe 5 or 6 bits of bacon with the remainder of fries covered with melted easy singles, this was an order from an app with the sum of 13€ but the sum of the bill being over 18€, I hope this review makes some changes either to custom or to management. No cleanup towels on bag or disposable forks. A lesson we'll learned and I will surely follow up with this particular restaurant in the future, I have aquired better food from local chip/shops for under a tenner, or even street food... my only regret was not taking pictures of the delivery to illustrated incompetence, hunger got the better of me

Amazing shakes and a meal including burger and a variety of sides at 10€ every Tuesday and Wednesday. The food is really filling and good in taste. Must try!

Very clean facilities. The staff is very friendly the food is cheap and cheerful. Last year my wife left me for a woman and took the kids, I always came to shakedog with my youngest daughter Sarah she and I had alot of good memories here so I like to come back here whenever I'm feeling lonely. The kind staff always put a smile on my face. The shakes lumpy sometimes.

Best value for money in town. 10€ lunch deal is awesome. Burger to choose from a wide range, many sides plus a shake. The staff is kind but the food cold be a bit crispier. The patty was a bit overcooked and the fries a bit soggy. I really recommend the garlic breaded mushrooms.

Food was disgusting. I got the bacon and cheese hotdog and chips. The sausage was like rubber. The bacon tasted like it was killed 10 years ago and more fat pieces than meat. Milkshake was pretty good and the workers were polite.Wouldnt eat there even for free to be honest.

The place did not smell well. There is some sightly smell of sewage. The floor was not clean. The walls oily. When the waiter brought us knife and fork, put it on the table, not in some clean dish. The mustard in the table was already there for a while and not proper to consume. When I tried to order my food. They were irreducible and said that I needed to wait in the table and all the people that were with me should make the order at the same time. After that, I had a doubt. Would they be serving breakfast at that time? The guy even not wanted to answer my question at the desk. In the end, they went to the table we order. Waited for the food feeling uncomfortable with the sewage smell. Less than 15 min later all the food was there. Taste was OK but I am defined not coming back.

The food is good, very honest. The service is great. I go during lunch if I am not in a hurry but also don't want anything too fancy. very good for what it proposes: a little better than an average fast food with a good price

Nastiest food I have ever consumed, food took ages but was absolutely freezing???? I couldn’t even eat it because my chicken was literally so charred it could have been put in the same pot as my grandmothers ashes. Spent 10 euro just to sit in a booth for 30 minutes basically, next time avoid this specific location!

We have been ordering from shake dog for a long time. This is normally where we order from if we’re in the mood for a milkshake with our food. But I have to say we are really disappointed with how the restaurant has handled our order tonight. A few weeks ago we ordered food and there were items missing, which is fine mistakes happen. We called the restaurant and the guy who answered the phone was really helpful and refunded us for the missing items. But tonight… same thing again, missing items. Called the restaurant and a girl answered, the call ended mid conversation so I call back, call ended again. I call a third time and this time she asks me to call back in 15 minutes so she can speak to her manager. Not ideal but fine. I call back for a fourth time 15 minutes later only for the manager to tell me I have to call just eat in order to get a refund, no number for just eat available so I have to send an email. Why was the restaurant able to refund me the first time but not the second time? Who knows, maybe the manager just didn’t feel like it. Giving 2 stars for the milkshakes, okay food and positive experience with the first issue. If you made it to the end of this very long review, I wouldn’t say don’t eat here at all, just be prepared to not receive your whole order, the rest depends on who answers the phone in the restaurant.

Unreal food very nice and worth it on Monday and Tuesday the only issue I have the meat in the burgers has definitely gotten smaller but I guess the price is kept low so thanks for that. The staff are friendly and very fast often went in with a full restaurant and still only waited a few minutes so well done to the staff for their hard work. ✌️

Went for the experience of Mr Beast Burger, food and service were great. The lady served us was very helpful. But the atmosphere is lacking in there, no music, Staff didn't seem to get a second to interact with each other. A good dining experience, but the atmosphere is lacking

We got here pretty late but the service was marvelous and the food served really fast. The burger I got was one of the best I ever ate. That the prices in the menu are very decent is only the cherry on top. Go eat here ;)

Tasty food and quick service. Love the Texas Fire fries. Only issue was a dirty napkin that came with the silverware that was promptly rectified. Good value for tasty chow.

Great place to hangout with friends. Portion size is satisfactory. Milkshake is superb and given in large steel cups difficult to finish.

Popped in for a quick bite, burgers were OK, chips weren't hot, milkshakes were gorgeous 😋 service was fine, just not very welcoming. Won't be returning

The burgers are extremely tasty. My recommendation is to order a second burger instead of a side dish. The staff is super friendly and creates a good atmosphere. Eating makes you right!

The restaurant was badly painted, the table looked as though it hadn't been washed. The food was alright but nothing special. The restaurant was generally dirty. The sign posts on the table had dirt/grease on them. The was cobwebs and dust all over the silver lettering on the wall that spelt hamburger which made me very uncomfortable as it was right over the table. The server, Dee was abrupt bordering rude. There was even a used napkin and cigarette butt on the floor which nobody even picked up the whole time I was there.. Used to love this restaurant so needless to say I am very disappointed in how badly run it is now. Management need to do something to improve the dining experience and the cleanliness of the restaurant.

Tasty! They have a large selection of burgers, sides, and shakes. There are breakfast options here as well, and they're open late! We got the €11.95 meal deal, which includes a main, a side, and a shake! Probably one of the best deals in town.

We love going there when we're in Limerick city. Food is lovely staff are very nice. The only thing I'm not too fond of are the toilets. I brought my daughter to the toilet.They're down stairs and she wasn't very comfortable. She's 11 and i wouldn't ever let her go down on her own.

5 Star because they have my all time favorite sweet potato fries. Meals are freshly cook and served warm. Friendly staff is another plus and a unique set up inside. Missing the mayonnaise in the condiments, would be a plus if they have, i didn’t got the chance to check with the crew. 100% Irish Beef

Where do i start... burger wasn't great I had better in supermacs, fries tasted old and mouldy, coke tasted flat. Way overpriced for 1 chicken burger, beef burger, garlic cheese fries, curry cheese fries, cocktail Sausages and fries and 3 drinks €33.50. And they were tiny dishes. You really need to upgrade your services as that was ridiculous. Staff were friendly so that's the only positive thing

just like an American fast food! a combo with hamburger, side dish and drink (shake or soda) for 10€ I thought it was incredible.
