So, so good! I had been there a couple years ago and remember it was amazing then too. But today I got the Apple challah French toast and side of scrapple. DELISH! And our server, Madeline (I think) was also an absolute delight. I think this is gonna be my go-to breakfast spot.

Great service and a great brunch menu with fun options to choose from. I also like that you can add any pancakes or french toast flavor to the egg platters. It was easy to build a sweet and savory breakfast plate which allowed us to try a little bit of everything

I have yet to experience a bad meal there. Food is just frick’n delicious! They make everything with such delight and with an artisan flare. I am reminded of my sister’s cooking in her restaurant in Montreal. Such wonderful attention to culinary detail and flavor and taste. I have not been disappointed. You will not be disappointed too.

We ordered The Tank and The Standard Hot Cakes. Both were absolutely delicious! I ordered The Tank and asked for ketchup cause I'm used to getting it at other breakfast spots but I didn't even need it! It had SO MUCH FLAVOR! Can't wait to go back and try something else!

Update: in the 6 months since my last review I've been to Tank and Libby's many more times and bring friends from out of town here whenever anyone visits. The food is consistently delicious. The pancakes and the Smokey Bennie are my faves, but I also love the fresh juices! Today they had a blueberry boba lemonade that was to die for. I also very much enjoy the service, Tricia has been assigned to my table a few times and I always appreciate her positive energy and warmth. I'll continue to keep coming back to this place and if you ever go and there's a wait, it's worth it to stay! Original review: Wasn't sure what to expect here, but I ordered takeout and was pleasantly surprised! The smoked salmon Benedict was amazing. The potatoes were cooked well also. The entire meal was the win and I will be back very soon!

First time coming here. I loved it. Nice atmosphere, pancakes tasted like funnel cake, and the potato hash was well seasoned. My omelet was delicious as well. Huge portions, have food for later. My server Chari was so sweet and pretty, kinda like your favorite Auntie. Will definitely be back!

We went for breakfast, it was very good. We got there early and there was plenty of seating. The food was awesome. My daughter got the Tank, unfortunately I didn't get a picture. My husband had Shrimp and Grits, he said it was good. I had a special, The Phanatic Phrench toast, had strawberries, whipped cream, chocolate chips. And canolli filling between the pieces of French toast. It was so good. I also had a side of bacon and it was very good. The servings are huge.

Stopped here for breakfast. The staff is friendly, quick to serve, and the food is good 👍 I ate a Tiramisu French Toast with a glass of milk The waiter said they change options weekly and that her favorite is the Cannoli. Didn't have it this time available thou. If you're there ask for them

Our favorite breakfast place ever! We regularly drive 30+ minutes on an early Saturday or Sunday morning to get breakfast here. Service, food, atmosphere, everything is awesome! Everything is scratch made and full of flavor. With covid, they added an outdoor dining space under a large tent, which I hope becomes a permanent addition, as that's where we usually request to sit. The servers are top notch and really fast. The kitchen is sometimes just as fast; on more than one occasion, the food beat our drinks to the table! Included pictures of our favorites taken over multiple visits. Down South (biscuits and sausage gravy) is our #1, followed by the Old Bay Bennie. Others pictured here include Huevos Rancheros, Florentine Breakfast Sandwich (one of my favorite specials they've had), Lobster Roll (another special), 6 Hour Hash, The Libby, and the Chicken & Waffle

This place is worth the wait! We had the breakfast tacos and a special which was the Spanish omelet. Also got a take out of sausage gravy and biscuits for someone at home which were great. Huge portions, fresh, filling and delicious. Staff was very friendly.

My friend and I go out for breakfast 3 times a week and the breakfast menus are all the same dull and boring. I was looking for some place that had not only the normal breakfast food but a cook that created unique dishes to choose from. Boy did I pick the right place. Tank and Libby’s menu is not only unique and DELICIOUS. This place has the best breakfast menu around. I also took home a lunch sandwich home for later and that to was delicious. This place is a treasure and I highly recommend trying it. Also the wait staff was friendly and attentive They made their work look easy hustling around to get our food This is one place you don’t want to miss

Have been coming here for a few years - can find something for different taste, diet and mood:) sometimes it gets busy, but service is still quick and attentive. This time we tried Libby’s special pancake for dessert - worth the wait!😋 of course, it was finished before anyone remembered to snap a photo🤷‍♀️

All time favorite breakfast spot! They have the BEST food - the French toast, biscuits and gravy, and cream chipped beef are my favorites but everything I’ve tried has been phenomenal. Excellent service every time we go. We eat here almost every weekend because it’s that good - so happy we found this gem!

What a great little hidden gem! We were looking for a eatery around Drexel Hill and found this one. Yummy fresh eats! I got the Kennett Omelet recommended by our waitress. It was packed with portobellos and bacon and cheese! Oh my gosh-totally deli!

Awesome vibe and extraordinarily excellent food. Thank you, Danielle, for exquisite service and advice!! The music, staff, and atmosphere were all groovin' from the second we hit the door. The food (we had huervos rancheros and shrimp and grits) was soooo authentic and delicious, just perfect. I had heard so much hype prior to going here... it lived up to every bit of it!!

Love love LOVE this place! Food is varied and delicious. Staff is awesome! Kid friendly. Always busy but WORTH the wait! Don’t be afraid to sit at the counter - those ladies will take care of you!! They make their own hot sauce, it’s delicious, and I bought a bottle for my hot sauce loving husband (he gave it a 10!).

Excellent customer service and a delicious breakfast menu with interesting selections Also to my liking, the egg platters can be customized with any pancake or French toast flavor. We were able to sample a variety of foods because it was simple to put together a sweet and savory breakfast buffet.

I ordered an omelette/potatoes and split a crumb cake. The portion size was really good for me, I was able to take home leftovers and have the rest for the next day. The potatoes were some of my favorite I've had eating out for brunch. The crumb cake was perfect for me. I won't deny that I love a crumb cake that feels like it's half cake half cinnamon sugar, but that can be too sweet for many. The crumb cake here was perfectly portioned and I'll definitely get again!

This place was great. Went there for Halloween brunch and the staff was dressed up as characters from the Wizard of Oz. Our server was so nice to give our 5 yr old a bag of candy for trick or treating becauseof her princess costume. This helped us out because of covid. Will be coming back!

Tank and Libby’s is one of my family’s favorite spots. The food is delicious and we always enjoy trying something new, the portion sizes are very generous so no one leaves hungry and we almost always have left overs, and the service is great with short waits and attentive staff. It’s great to support local but also love the food while you are doing so! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This place is so cute! Im always looking for a nice brunch place in the UD area and Tank and Libby's definitely fits the bill! It's a little pricey but their portions are humongous, especially the pancakes, so it's well worth it. If you order "The Blues" pancakes, beware of the sheer size of your impending meal and also the lemon glaze makes it very sweet.

  • 4/5 Andrew B. 3 years ago on Google
The food is 5 stars but for most, they give you too much food. I got the blueberry Lemon pancakes and got (3) 12 inch super thick pancakes. I ate one and I was done. If the revise their menu with smaller portion sizes I will give them 5 stars.

This is a very good wake up with someone you like and go have breakfast cheesesteak. I got the Cheesesteak “wit.” It came with very good french fries. This cheesesteak was very good but needed a little more brotherly love. The melted onions melted in your mouth. Unfortunately they were clumped on the bottom of my cheesesteak. Most of the cheese was with the onions on the bottom.

I went here to have lunch with a friend and I have to say, those were some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had! The food, service and atmosphere were all great. I wish I lived closer, I’d go more often. When you go, try the hot cakes, they’re incredible!

Arrived at 11– was told there was an hour wait. Fair enough. At 11:45 we were told the table was ready. Great.! However, we were left standing for an additional 5 to 10 minutes while “ the table was being cleared,” and we were left standing in the entryway as our seats had already been taken by other people -which was difficult for two members of our party, who walk with canes. We are seated and are orders taken within five minutes or less. Order: shrimp and grits., eggs with a side of Scrapple, two orders of pancakes, and one “Hippy hash”. Our drinks were brought out shortly after, then — 40 - 45 minutes later, we finally received our order. We ate and talked for maybe half an hour (it was so loud, however, that we had trouble hearing each other). Finally, we requested containers to take home the uneaten portions (the portion size is way too large… maybe smaller portions and lower prices?). We boxed the leftovers and were getting ready to say our goodbyes to each other— and we’re told to “wrap it up” by a server/waitress as they “need our table.” Really? If we had been served promptly, we would have been long gone. 40 - 45 minutes to wait for our food seemed rather long. And being given the bums rush, was absolutely tacky. At this point it was almost 1 o’clock; I realize you close at 1:30 and probably had people waiting… that shouldn’t have been our problem, however.
