Manchester Diner

Restaurant

👍👍 Best Ruben I have ever had and only $12. The food here is amazing and the portions are huge, especially for the price. Thankfully we live close, but well worth the drive from Ann Arbor.

I had "the local" ($8.75 - as of 7/22) with bacon. With all the homemade offerings on the menu I almost opted for the homemade sausage patty. I'm glad I stuck with the bacon however because this was two strips of about the thickest bacon I've seen anywhere, And very tasty. You get your choice of three homemade jams, And I opted for the blueberry which was a little bit thin but it was a perfect compliment for the sourdough bread. The coffee was above average too. The diner is a family affair and it shows.

Super happy we tried this place. The food was outstanding. I don't know, but a lot of it felt like it was hand made in house. Definitely recommend this place.

Small restaurant, can be crowded at times, however service is wonderful. Food has some thought put into making it special instead of generic.

I think Leslie is great and I really like what she has done with the diner. It has a nice fresh new look and the food is good. I had a nice garden salad and the lentil curry soup, which I loved, and My boyfriend had her special-of-the week pesto grilled cheese sandwich and fries. Perfect brunch for a cold day.

An interesting experiment in small town snobbery. Initially our server was a very pleasant young woman with an injured leg who quickly vanished and was replaced by a not very pleasant older woman who took our order but did not bring our food. We had to ask at counter for a check. Reasonably talented guitar player for ambiance. Our waitress spent most of her time socializing with his fans/family. Someone in the kitchen, however, is trying hard. The soup of the day strongly tasted of cilantro and lime but was overall quite stimulating and enjoyable. Next time I go I will be more adventurous in my choice of entree. I was glad the first waitress recommended the soup. So if you go here try the specials! One star off for the service, but the food is good.

This is a hidden little gem of an eatery. It says it’s a diner but it’s more than your basic diner fare. The food is so delicious and made with great ingredients and much care. Everything is homemade… soft and light a feather biscuit with homemade jelly… oh, my tastebuds rejoiced. Go and enjoy this locally owned gem!

These people care about their customer's experience and it shows. Over easy eggs with a crispy edge? How do you even do that? Everything was done perfectly, carefully, We'll be back.

Ordered a take out order of sausage gravy and biscuits. The gravy tasted like paste. The sausage was pork Pattie’s, no sausage seasoning, cut up into the gravy. The prices on the web site were not what we were charged at check out. We feel robbed.
