Having just visited Nantwich Museum I was so impressed by the professionalism of the staff and knowledge of artefacts that they shared with me. The exhibits are displayed in such a manner that you can’t help spend ages soaking up information and what is before you. Colin one of the volunteers shared an amazing photograph album that was destined for the skip thankfully saved and given to the museum. It’s was such an incredible insight to see how people in the Victorian and Edwardian times dressed. I can’t believe admission is free, relying totally on donations and purchases from the shop. Pre-Covid approximately 150 people attended on the Saturday, now sadly very few. Restrictions are easing so let’s support an amazing place and keep this museum going.

We loved this small but interesting museum dedicated to the local history of the town and surrounds. The exhibition of medical developments in the town and the personalities involved was well presented and thought provoking.

A lovely, bigger then expected, museum that teaches local children the history of Nantwich. My son came here with his school and really enjoyed it so I decided to pop in as well. Didn't have much time to explore but I loved looking at the artifacts.

A fantastic little place with a goldmine of History and exhibitions of Nantwich and surrounding areas.when we visited it really opened my eyes to the past with interesting facts from the past, if you are interested in local History this place is a must visit. The staff are helpful and easy to approach and only too welcome to listen to you with your own views on certain things they might not know. A good souvenir shop I thoroughly loved it but then again I love local History so I am biased. If your on a day out and have a few hours to kill go and try it out you may like it.

Excellent local museum with fresh displays throughout the year. Organises walks of historical significance and other educational events. Also, on occasions, the premises are made available for not-for-profit use. Top marks museum staff ❤️

Went to an open day about health and wellbeing through the ages, excellent interactive experience, particularly for young ones, complete with leeches and maggots!!! Leighton hospital staff were brilliant. Stayed to look round the rest of the museum, what a little gem, please visit and see our local history, I learned so much!!! Massive thank you to all the volunteers too.

This morning I attended the Welsh Row tour undertaken by Andrew. I learned a great deal about this fascinating street and much of the surrounding area. I would strongly recommend it to anybody interested in this amazing town, if you get the opportunity to attend. Thanks Andrew, really enjoyed my time with you.

Fantastic museum in the ancient town of Nantwich in Cheshire. Pre Roman town occupied by the Romans during thier time in Britain, mainly due to the salt mined here, which in Roman times was more valuable than gold! Museum has many hundreds of exhibits dating back to Roman and even pre-Roman times. Souvenirs, postcards and gifts available. Free entry (voluntary donation). A MUST VISIT if you are in Nantwich! 0

It was really nice to look at the history of a small village as well as the things they specified in like salt and cheese, also learning the history of the civil war and how it affected these areas in those times and being able to see the muskets, armor, and ammunition that would be put into said weaponry it was amazing. Gettin to see the different machines used for the cheese and milk making was also really really cool to see where we started and learnt how to do things.
