Went in for the buffet but was disappointed they did not have lunch buffets anymore, but they did have lunch specials. Tried the lunch special with the options provided. Food came out hot and with an amazing aroma but it took a bit longer than I expected. All items selected were amazing. The spices and flavors were excellent. The waitress was courteous, attentive, and helpful. Inside was nice and they had one TV with sports on. Inside was clean and they had older style booths and tables for dining. The lunch special I got was very filling and tasty. Overall I enjoyed dining here.

The food was good BUT they only handle web based orders through a fax machine! If the fax doesn't come through in the year 2023 they do not have computers to verify it. I showed proof that I had paid on their contracted-out web site and they insisted I pay again there at the restaurant for a "new" order. There were 3 other people there at the time in this same situation. This is called fraud; if you don't understand the technology don't sign up for it! Please enjoy the charge-back on your statement next month.

Best Indian food in Norman. The buffet is kinda whack, but that's all buffets in my opinion. Just wish they were open all day instead of weird times and they're strict with those times. They won't take your order if you are calling close to closing time. Also the 1-10 spice level is just a heads up. You're getting spicy even if you say no spice. We like spicy, but my partner messed up and got something at an 8 ONCE. Now we stick to 0-2 so our kids can eat it too. Try the lamb biriyani and the Shahi korma!

In the past, I loved visiting this place . Service was good, and the spread you get at the table is amazing. Presentation was on point. However, I’m forced to rate low due to poor services when picking up to go orders. I noticed they don’t start my order till I arrive. What’s the point in me ordering Togo?

After seeing some great reviews on doordash and hoping to find a new, good Indian place, we gave this a try. It was fair at best. We were the last order they had for the day, since they were closing early. What we got reflected this. We got the vegetable biryani, it didn’t have a lot of flavor and was mushy. Tandoori chicken, was old and dry. The kheer was also mush and had a dried end piece of the ginger root. The gulab was great, but $3.50 for two balls was pretty steep. And lastly, we got the garlic naan. It was raw in the middle with a smear of jarred minced garlic. The meal was over $40 and disappointing for the price. We’ll keep searching.

Food is made to order. The lunch specials are great for first timers. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious.

This is about the most authentic Indian cuisine you can find in all of Oklahoma. If you want something Western, I suggest you go somewhere else. A mom and pop and son restaurant, they do not rush but do it right! Nemaste!

This place is absolutely amazing! I was so happy to find a good Indian restaurant with good food and large portions. I really love their naan and their by biryani rice dish and veggie samosas. The food is always still hot by the time I get home and the flavor is amazing. Seriously my favorite place to get Indian food. They always get my order right and they're very respectful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place friends. I would say for people who don't like spice just use the yogurt sauce that comes with the food in order to make it milder. It's important to consider that mild to one person could be bland to another people experience flavors different same thing with spice. It's subjective so keep that in mind. I personally didn't find anything I bought to be spicy maybe a barely noticable kick. Know what you like and what you can handle. The food here is always delicious with amazing flavors.

I went here with a friend for dinner. The service was great--no complaints. The atmosphere was good too. The meal was OK. I ordered a curry with paneer. Compared to other Tikka paneer masala that I've had in the past, I would definitely rate it a 2/5. I'm vegetarian and ordered accordingly. My friend ordered a dish with chicken. He also agreed that the meal was OK. I honestly would not go back. I did like the vegetable samosa that we ordered. I did finish that but did not feel like taking my leftover curry.

Norman is SO lucky to have a place like Taste of India around. Despite the large selection of restaurants in Norman, Indian food seems to be one of the few cuisines that isn't as well-represented. I didn't know what to expect when some of my friends ordered Taste of India for a get-together, but wow did they ever meet and surpass my expectations! In the months since, I've tried much of their menu - including their samosa, pakora, biryani, vindaloo, tikka and so on. Their entrees are packed with intense, but nuanced flavors and spices, and the portions are substantial enough for 2+ meals. My personal favorite is their chicken chili masala - which comes with huge nuggets of tender, marinated chicken doused in this rich, spicy and creamy sauce. As someone who cooks a lot, it takes something special to really leave an impression. The first time I tried the chili masala, I was literally left speechless - it's the best thing I've eaten in Norman, and one of the best entrees I've had period. Highly HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already!

This is delicious, delicious food. We ordered the Assorted Appetizers, Malai Kofta, Chicken Tikki Masala and Nan. The Malai Kofta was the best dish! I will be back for more.

First time here. Grabbed a to go order of lamb curry and chicken curry. Food was perfect, but just as important were the owners who politely greeted me and made me feel very welcome. Food was made quickly. They also use Order up Norman for delivery. A true 5 stars without reservation.

Biryanis and Chicken curry wasn’t that great, but the lamb curry, the best I’ve tried. Raina and garlic bread as well. Highly recommend.

We got three different chicken dishes and Naan to go for dinner. The food is absolutely delicious. My kids at the Naan, rice and Chicken Tikki Masala standing up, eating as quickly as they could because it was so good. Highly recommend.
