😠 I wish I could rate with negative stars. The worst college staff I have EVER dealt with. Their actions and complete lack of knowledge have caused my husband to have to repeat courses he didn't need to wasting our hard earned money. They CONSTANTLY give us the runaround on financial aid claiming they... People often mention classes, staff, work, years, class, money, time, students, schedule, hours,

I wish I could rate with negative stars. The worst college staff I have EVER dealt with. Their actions and complete lack of knowledge have caused my husband to have to repeat courses he didn't need to wasting our hard earned money. They CONSTANTLY give us the runaround on financial aid claiming they don't have my high school transcript when I can pull if up from THEIR WEBSITE and show them it is CLEARLY on file. They will fight you on EVERYTHING trying to prove you are wrong and actively DISCOURAGING you from even attending college. I have attended other colleges and never have I ever had to work this hard just to take a class or two because the university I am attending does not offer that particular class. If this place was not the only place within an hour drive I could take these classes, I would go ANYWHERE ELSE. Please for the benefit of the community CLEAN HOUSE IN THIS ORGANIZATION!!!! The staff has HORRIBLE attitudes and are completely INCOMPETENT!!! You want to know what people aren't going to college? It is not due to lack of motivation, it is due to frustration caused by these people! Every good review about this college is OBVIOUSLY a staff member or someone paid to boost their ratings. I have not me a single person in the last 5 years that has actually had a good experience here.

I would give zero stars if it were an option. I've attended TCC since 2015. It's been the most difficult and infuriating time of my life. I cannot say enough bad things about this school (ALL of it's campuses). Seriously! Save your money and go somewhere else. For the most part, I've had decent professors. However, the staff as a whole are completely incompetent and not properly trained for their jobs. Expect absolutely nothing from the financial aid office or the academic counselors. I was supposed to receive a grant last November (2017) to cover my cost of tuition for the 2017-2018 school year, and I've just received reimbursement this month (May 2018). Ridiculous! I've also gone to the academic counselors countless times to be advised about how I should proceed with classes. I'm given a new counselor each time I go that knows diddly-squat about me or my major. Absolutely NO HELP! I am currently in the process of transferring to a university because I've wasted too much time at this sorry excuse for a "college".

Very unprofessional teachers and staff. Teachers were always unwilling to help me or answer emails, they were never willing to work with working students schedules. Very poor communication on how to send transcripts and poor communication in general with students. My math teacher never taught anything, I took her class online due to my work schedule and she never posted a thing, she only had us read the textbook and made us teach ourselves math. When I had a conflicting work schedule with finals, she said in her syllabus she would be happy to help those who needed it, to reschedule and she never emailed me back on the conflict I was having with my work schedule and gave me a 0% and emailed me later saying that I should be able to "make time for both". Hypocritical teachers and they really do not care about their students at all. Academic Advising was also terrible, multiple different advisors tell you multiple different things. I took 9 credits and was told they would all transfer, turns out, none of them do, so I wasted a semester.

Terrible experiences with all of the staff on many occasions. They are all completely unqualified for the jobs they are supposed to be doing. The academic advisers are absolutely terrible. I've received different advice from all of them and even had to stay for an extra three semesters, because of how incompetent their advice was (giving me a list of incorrect classes to take). I will, however, say that I have found ONE good adviser. Her name is Kelsey and she has always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She is the only one I will see now. It's a shame, because I have had some very good professors in my years here.

The worst/slowest academic advisors ever. DO NOT RELY ON THEM FOR INFO ABOUT CLASSES YOU NEED FOR YOUR CAREER. They will tell you wrong classes to enroll in, therefore making you owe them more money. This has happened 3 times now in the 3 years I’ve been there & I still am unsure of the prerequisites I should be taking to get my degree. Not to mention the hour long wait you have because they only have 2 advisors working at a time with a waitlist of 40 students. Worst campus ever.

The gentleman “receptionist” was rude and arrogant. Went to try to get help enrolling my daughter. I already knew the steps to do so but was needing some case specific explanation and understanding. He wasn’t helpful, shushed me and talked in circles. Only gave me the steps I already knew to do. Left more confused than what I was when I arrived. He was adamant about me not speaking to anyone besides him. Not professional nor helpful whatsoever.

The SouthEast Campus has always been my go for tcc. It is nice, fairly well kept. and the only campus to have a rock climbing wall in their gym. With them recently re-modeling, and re-opening from 2020. I am excited to see what changes will happen in the upcoming months now that im returning for classes :)

I am currently attending TCC at this location. I have only been to this one and the West campus. If I have to chose between the two of them, I'd definitely choose this one. During this time, they are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of their students. Every person, including staff, if required to wear a mask. When you ever the building, they take your temperature. As you go into your classroom, you are set seven feet apart from the person next to you. When class is dismissed, cleaning personnel sanitize the entire room. I truly feel at home at this campus! The staff are so friendly, and the professors are very helpful. If you have to take a Math(Quantitative Reasoning) class, take Brena Belovich! She is the best!

Hopefully it’s better now!! 5 years ago I enrolled at the Tcc south location. Enrollment was easy. Testing quick. Within a couple hours I had my schedule. School started. Construction was going on, chemical smells where strong, one class was without air conditioning. I have a sensitivity to chemicals and their smells (glue, tar, paint thinners, etc.) I went to admissions and was like I can’t do this the smells and construction noises are causing my ptsd and anxiety to me up. They where like no problem it’s the second week and u can withdraw, no charges, can return anytime ur ready. Several months later…. When are u going to start paying or pay off ur outstanding balance?? I’m like what. Several calls and run around a later…. They are like, we got it figured out. The balance will be fixed and set to zero….. I was like thank you and didn’t even think twice. A year later….. collection company calls wanting money for TCC. Collections said call school, school said nothing we can do it’s been sent to collections. $4,700 for visiting a total of 4 classes in two days. The classes were small and packed. The teachers and permanent staff seem very nice. The temp/student staff seem nice but don’t know much.

Tried to take classes here that were supposed to be online but instead had regular class hours plus online work plus online classes, then when I lost my job had to discontinue. Then I dropped the classes at the southeast campus who assured me no problem the paper work would be filed, stopped going, then a few months later was told I owed for classes, when I said I had dropped them first they had no record of that, then they had a record but it was too late then no record again. This is of course after they had already filed to garnish wages from my paycheck the attorney on the paper work said it was not his area, the number he referred to be said not their area, and the person they referred to just hung up on me, so for two years I worked at walmart struggling to make ends meet while they took 25 percent of my paycheck and then it was paid off and thought it was done until now two years later got another notice that they want another 1800 dollars as if they had not been taking 25 percent of my paychecks for two years. Of course they have no recored of every collecting any money, and of course I have to contact Walmart in Benton on select hours a day and beg for a copy of the garnishment paperwork all for classes that were supposed to be paid with my GI Bill and Iwas supposed to be un enrolled from . same story for Tulsa educational regents who have collected so far 180 000 dollars from me for a 40000 student loan 30 years ago., at least I am earning as much as I would if i had gone to jail and got a GED, TCC makes me want to hang myself on daily basis, I particularly like the way they would not even amend my transcript to void the classes so its amazing they have no record but are sure I owe them money and all I have to do is prove that they dont because they decided I do and conveniently lost any record , or have absorbed the entire debt into fees so that the principle always remains, Do not attend here.

If you’re an adult with an unconventional work schedule, good LUCK trying to get ahold of your advisor. I am unavailable for any of their hours due to my work schedule and personal commitments, and it’s been 3 weeks since I was told I’d be contacted via phone in “24-48 hours.” I have called each week and all they could say is “sorry you have to follow the advising hours 🤷‍♀️” I also don’t appreciate being lied to that I have been contacted, but via my TCC EMAIL. When I checked it later all I had was an automated email that my assigned advisor was OUT OF THE OFFICE. Why do you even assign incoming students to advisors with planned absences or are literally gone? Not to mention the prices of these classes have more than doubled since I previously attended in ‘16. Which, additionally, I was forced to drop out of due to Tulsa Achieves no longer being applicable without my knowledge. (But I was eagerly encouraged to enroll with no coverage though!) Terrible, unaccommodating, administrative staff and overpriced courses that aren’t 100% transferable.

They’re suing my son and he’s never even been a student. Not at any location. They’re scamming people. How can you sue someone who has never attended your facility?
