Very cool detour for the day. Few minutes of time, but pretty neat to see and walk across. Kids will love it.

Found this little hidden gem while traveling through Iowa. Easy to find but not much parking space. Just a short walk to the bridge and waterfall.

The nicest thing about the Swiniging Bridge is its view of the Iowa River and the surrounding neighborhood. There is a pretty little waterfall on the west bank nearby. The bridge provides a bird's eye view of jet skiers. There is small park with a playground for families with children at one end of the bridge and another nearby memorial park with a totem pole sculpture that provides a view of the swinging bridge. Altogether this is a great place to enjoy a scenic view of this small Iowa town.

The bridge is fun. The little waterfall adds to the view of the clifts. The park is lovely. It has a nice play ground area.

The swinging bridge was cool to see. We didn't realize it had its own parking lot so we ended up on a dead end road and just parked on the side and walked up to it. The bridge has a very good view of the Iowa River. It was just quiet and relaxing. Great stop.

Not what I expected. But scenery was beautiful and the waterfall was awesome. My favorite was the memorial for soldiers.

It is sure cool to be able to walk on this bridge. It's like going back in history. We live in such a Great Country. I like to look at the leaves turning for the fall colors.
