A great outdoor market with varied stands of food and crafts. Simply the Best Scotch Eggs and Sausage Rolls was the best looking stall and the scotch eggs, sausage rolls , scones and dessert scotch eggs were all to die for. The samosas were also delicious in the Hibiscus stand next to Simply the Best!

We went for a Vineyard Tour yesterday, very in depth and informative with a great presentation. I have learnt more in this vineyard tour than the many I have been on combined, Would definitely recommend.

Vineyard Tour - don’t waste your money Advertised as… ‘Walk down the vineyard and a talk about of the vineyard (weather permitting). Tour of the winery, with commentary. Slide show presentation of the process of wine making. Wine Tasting – three of the Buzzards Valley range Followed by a Cheese/Ham graze box’ THE REALITY… It was raining so no walk down the vineyard (accepted as this was advertised) but then all the tour consisted of was being taken upstairs and sat at a table to watch a poorly executed video with a few stops to add a few comments (most of which were about the son buying a new car) The graze box’s were dished out and let’s just say, if you do go, remember there is a fast food outlet just by the roundabout you will go around on the way out. There was no tour of the winery and the wine tasting is 2 glasses, well samples, served whilst watching the film and a third with the graze box. Obviously you’re encouraged to browse the shop which is probably the best part of it to be honest. All done by about half 8, so the half 9 to 10pm would probably be right if you went to see the vines and actually had a tour of the winery. Like I say, don’t waste your money. Try some wine in the shop for free and spend the tour money on the wine if you like it.

What a wonderful experience! Gin tasting in the very well shop, and coffee and cake in the loft cafe! A fabulous variety of foods and drinks, both in the cafe and in the shop below. I’ll certainly be returning to do a vineyard tour and wine tasting!

Came for the artisan fair on a Sunday. Lovely array of stalls. Cute on site shop some quirky bits and bobs too. Nice place to source a slightly more unusual gift.

Hi Peter, Just wanted to say a massive thank you for accommodating me at the event on Sunday. Great to see you too and meet your lovely wife Yvonne. I had a great day catching up with old friends and stall holders and great vibe and footfall. The stalls were of good quality too. Organising shows are hard work and hope it paid off for you. I would love to come back if you will have me again. Smilie

Lovely little shoo selling various trinkets. Quite expensive, and the wine is below average in my opinion. I bought the medium dry Good Company red wine for £10. Tastes watered down and just bad..might be the only bottle that is buy happened to be the one I bought. So I can only give 2 starts.

Lovely selection of gifts and tasty ice cream. The monthly Artisan Market is great with a variety of stalls selling local and homemade products, and the Tamworth Donut Man providing coffee and amazing ‘Extra Special’ donuts - the kinder bueno is our favourite!

Go there for fishing. Always nice courteous staff. They got some really nice flapjacks and plenty of other things. Below are some the carp my friends and I caught.

I'm appalled by the way the tour was run. £27.50 per person and we didn't even see the winemaking equipment. It was 10 mins looking at some vines, another 5 looking at a big tank, then inside to watch a video repeating the same information. Tour was advertised to run until 9:30...ended at 8:20. Got given three half glasses of wine, one of which was a red which was fizzy. I asked if it was meant to be and received the response: "sometimes". They then proceeded to tell us that if we attended their craft fair at the weekend, they would have "all of the wines open to try". There was approx £600 of payments in the room and they couldn't be bothered to open more than three wines for us to taste. Oh and there was moderate bigotry. Avoid.

Great local fishery. 6 different pools to fish with different species and challenges. Also a very nice specimen carp pool with 5 pegs. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the fishery is dog friendly. Good day ticket prices for one rod or 2 and they also offer an annual season ticket which is good value if you intend to visit alot. Can't recommend enough as its suits me perfectly for location, fishing & bringing my dog.

Such a lovely sales guy! But wow! White wine is bad! Tastes like vinegar! And the gin I can’t even drink this stuff! It’s awful! So disappointed 😔 as I love gin and being a little adventurous, however On this occasion I don’t think I should of bothered.

Went to the artisan Market. Loved it. Well worth a visit. Bit disappointed that the wine at the place it's made is more expensive than in a shop! Happy to donate £1 parking to charity but noticed a lot didn't appear to do so.

We attended for the artisan market which operates once per month. It is an excellent experience with lots of local produce and hand crafted items. Would recommend.

Excellent wine as usual. Why the extraordinary amount of packaging. Enormous cardboard box, plastic bottle covers plus extra packaging. I expected a simple cardboard box with dividers, that could have been used to gift some wine. This lot was distressing and enough to finish off he planet.

Nice fishing venue, and bisto. With a lovely little shop. Nice food up stairs, breakfast brought to your fishing peg. Nice fishing pools. Love it.

We went for the vineyard tour and wine tasting experience. We were very lucky as despite a forecast of rain the sun came out just at the right time and we were able to take the short wander down to the vines and see the first mini grapes starting to sprout. (This was in early May.) There's also a really interesting sign that shows where the different grape types are planted, as well as pretty views across the fields and woods. Then we had our tasty cheese and biscuit graze boxes and three small wine samples, a sparkling wine, lemony white wine and peppery, fruity red wine. The slide show about the wine making process was presented by the farmer himself who also ran the tour. His presentation was really interesting. Similar to Clarkson's Farm, it was a no holds barred account of the trials and tribulations of modern day farming. It covered not only the wine making process but also the hoops farmers have to jump through in terms of complex paperwork and expensive equipment. The farmer had a good sense of humour and kept the room laughing and was drinking along with us too which added to the experience! So if you're on the fence about this tour, I would say it's worth booking even if just to support a working farm that's been going for over 40 years and that's putting in the effort to diversify and provide a quite unique experience in the midlands area. (I've been to other British vineyard tours and wine tastings but only down south.) After the tour, there's plenty of time to browse the shop where tastings of the wine, other alcohols, vinegars and olive oils are not just allowed but encouraged. We bought two of the wines (Fire Fox and Solo, bronze and silver rated at the London wine awards) as they were a very reasonable £10 each as well as a few different crackers, chutneys and cheeses which we enjoyed the next day so the experience continued. In summary, if you're just looking to get a little merry on wine, the main experience may not get you fully there, but there are benches with pretty fairy lights outside where you can buy very reasonably priced bottles to get the job done. But if you're looking for a unique and authentic experience where you learn about the wine making process as well as getting some delicious samples this tour is well worth it. Support local farmers and small businesses and give this tour a go!

Such a lovely surprise to find a thriving vineyard so close to home, well worth an evening of wine tasting. A friendly family run business. You can drop it to their on-site shop for lovely goodies. Watch out for the artisan market ,I will definitely be visiting it myself.
