What an absolutely FABULOUS place! Staff is welcoming and friendly, atmosphere is warm and inviting (local artist pieces decorating the walls), AMAZING FOOD, fun and interesting cocktails and REALLY great desserts! We’ll be back!!

Charming little restaurant in Shelbourne. Decor is inviting and bathroom wallpaper made me smile. Really good tomato soup and accompaning grilled cheese was crunchy and creamy at the same time. The Buddha Bowl was bland and too spicy at the same time. The waitress was friendly, interested in our feedback and ended up comping that. Early days. It's worth a visit and I'll go again.

If you’re vegan forget this place until they offer vegan options. Our server was kind and apologetic but still no real options except salad or avocado toast (which wasn’t vegan). Service was great though. Too loud if you sit inside. Beautiful patio. We left after a sip of water and trying several times to negotiate with the chef through the server. Not good.

Love this place! The food is delicious and nutritious, and they have more than one vegetarian option which makes me so happy. The atmosphere is great. The staff are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend you eat here!

We operate a vacation suite and highly recommend the Emerald Light to them. Each and every time our guests return to tell us they loved the place. They report they love the patio, the food is extremely good and the service is great too. We love it too. That’s why we recommend it so often.

This place was wonderful! The food was so fresh and tasty and the service was great! We also loved the selection of local beers/spirits. We’re excited to go back and try more of the menu and the cocktails!

Excellent food here! Had the deluxe hamburger and it was delicious. Also can recommend the homemade lemonade. It tastes just like Mom made it. Great outside deck too. Gave them 4 stars as some noise damping could be used because the customers speaking gets really loud. A small thing as the rest is great.

This is a sweet little spot on Downtown Shelburne. A short menu with more snack like options (soup, grilled cheese, tacos), but the foot is yummy and put together with a love for detail. Great patio out back.. Mocktails and deserts equally recommended.

If ever you are in the area please check out this amazing spot. Food was delicious, we had the signature lemonade, Harvest Bowls and Tacos nothing was left behind. Servers so attentive and checked to make sure you were good. The owner recognized we were new customers and came by said Hi and gave us a bit of history about the area and upcoming festivals. Made us feel the warmth of family and the community vibes the Emerald was giving. You can taste the love in the food.

We travelled throughtout New Brunswick and Nova Scotioa for 7 days on a road trip and the Emerald Light was the only restaurant where we enjoyed a truly exquiste meal. If you have an opportunity to eat there you will be impressed.

Stopped at this place in Shelburne for dinner. I had the chicken club sandwich. Very tasty and nicely done! The servers did an excellent job as the place filled very quickly with customers. Will likely be back again!

Great food! I put 4 stars because I only had 3/4 of a waffle with my chicken and waffles, which I thought was weird, sometimes I sit and think about the missing quarter of my waffle… I wonder where it is now.

Avocado Toast and homemade tomato soup were delicious. Lemonade made fresh was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

Went in on a whim, and was very pleasantly surprised. Excellent food at a reasonable price, and not at all the usual fare to be found at the local eateries. Don't miss out on the desserts.

I've been to eat here a few times now ! Had to keep coming back for their delicious Chicken Club Sandwich & homemade tomato soup. Staff is incredibly helpful and extremely kind. Serving sizes are huge & food is delicious! You leave feeling full without that greasy/sick feeling. My favorite restaurant in Shelburne, it's well worth the money !

Great service and even greater food. The coffee options are all amazing and I enjoyed everything I ordered. I definitely recommend and hope to come back!

We stumbled upon this quaint little Restaurant while travelling from Halifax to Yarmouth. We called in an order, service was fast and food was fresh and delicious. We had nachos, an emerald burger and chicken strips for the kiddos. Zero complaints here. Hope to return one day.
