Nice restaurant in the town of Meaford. Best for families, the prices were good and the portions were generous. There is a nice patio but it was a scorcher of a day so we sat inside were things were nice and cool. Service was good and the food was tasty and fresh.

Great ambiance and friendly staff. Only 3 stars, however, because the "poutine" I ordered was not actually poutine. Fries, gravy and shredded cheese was what I was served. Mid-meal, my server asked me "how's you're poutine, sir?" "Well, it's not actually poutine" To which he replied, "Yeah, I guess it's just fries and gravy with cheese." At least someone there gets it. Have been spending a lot of time in Meaford lately so it’s important to know where the major spots to eat are and this one was of them (we tried last time but hours didn’t permit). Anyways, the yin and yang of this place was the wait time (unacceptable for any food establishment) and the quality of the salmon they provided (the salmon was cooked and seasoned great).

I had just sold a moose photo to a lady down the street, and asked her where to go. It was the right choice. Food was yummy, and Val was friendly. Made for a good mini celebration of my ~ Moose in the Mist

*** Update: The restaurant owners reached out to us and refunded us for all 3 of our meals. They were very apologetic. Just had dinner here. Great service but my chicken was completely raw. They refunded us for this meal but still super upsetting and didn’t even offer to replace the meal. Ended up not eating anything. Disappointed

Amazing food with amazing service. Can't recommend highly enough. My wife devoured a huge Long Weekend burger with lots of tasty cheese happily and I had Mamas meatloaf which was excellent - and meatloaf is tricky - as were the sides of cole slaw and mashed potatoes. We are picky eaters and the food was incredible.

Benny was a great server and made sure we were well taken care of, that our meal was good and he was quick to swing by at the appropriate moments for order taking, quality checks and bill delivery. He made the experience really great for us! Thanks Benny! I usually note accessibility and the patio here is wheelchair accessible! I had the potato canoes and a side of coleslaw, both came promptly, looked fresh and tasted delicious.

I had the clubhouse and couldn’t eat it as the chicken was chewy/rubbery. Fries were just okay. Service was excellent. Would go back and try it again because I may have just gotten that fluky meal. The meal cost was taken off our bill so no complaints there.

We were visiting the area and asked someone where was good to eat and they pointed us here. No wait and a fun spot. We grabbed a few appetizers and everything was delicious. Benny took good care us. Thanks!

Went there couples time and it was always packed. Not complaining at all. There’s many delicious foods that I could eat it all! I order Grilled Salmon and it blew my mind how delicious it was! Highly recommended if you visit in Meaford!

Nice atmosphere, great service very busy. I ordered hot tea and the smoked meat sandwich with fries. This is where things went off the rails, the tea was served and the cup was ice cold. I asked for the cup to be warmed, buy the time I got the cup back my tea was luke warm. My sandwich came as ordered, however, it wasn't smoked meat it was corned beef and the sandwich was also just warm. The fries were hot. I would try it a second time. My 2 cents.

We enjoyed dining during the Fall Apple Harvest Festival. It was great to enjoy a beverage and meal while watching the main street parade out the front window. The food was good and the staff were great!

Fries with gravy got me hooked after my first visit! Refreshing Bloody Caesar just what I needed to get ready to watch Canadian comedian Shaun Majumder at Meaford Hall on Sunday, October 29th at 7:30 PM I will definitely visit again to devour more of those delicious French fries (oui oui je suis une Frenchy de la ville de Toronto)

Such delicious food and such amazing and fast service. I come here every time I come to Meaford, definitely recommend! FYI there's a lot of flies if you sit on the patio but still such a great experience.

We're in town for a workshop tomorrow so we Google searched for a restaurant. We certainly chose the right place! Casual, homey with excellent service and extraordinarily great food. We ordered two shareable apps and each had fish and chips. Superb flavors, each bite tasted so fresh. Everything made in house. We would be tempted to make the 3-1/2 drive again just for the Leeky Canoe! Thanks so much Kathie K and all the staff.

I have enjoyed this place since the day it opened. Absolutely love their food. The only thing I have to ask is, please bring back the stuffed mushroom caps. 😁

Leeks is a great local spot with a quaint atmosphere. The staff are friendly and diligent while the food is delicious! Always a good choice.

Great service and selection. Their top dish could use more flavor but hearty for those who like plain. Above averageportions. Fish n chips and gravy very good. Patio nice but lots of bees and flies mid August could use some traps for them..

Great little place, the food was tasty, and it got busy pretty quick, so I would recommend making a reservation especially during the busy months. The food arrived in a timely manner, it tasted fresh, and was hot. The server was really great with the kids and adults. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying everything on their menu.

Casual ski-themed diner. Good food and service. Decent prices. Cauliflower bites were crispy and delicious. Trivia pursuit cards on the table are a fun touch!

Best server we've ever had. A group of 7, including 2 young children - we were very well taken care of. Try the deep fried pita bread with the spinach dip. Oh my, it was an excellent experience!

We dined here on July 9/22. We asked to sit outside as we had kids with us and we were told the two empty tables could not be moved together. Our group was 6 adults, 3 kids and a baby in a stroller. We were sat in a booth for 6 so we asked to move up front and were graciously accommodated. However out on the deck the two tables we wanted to sit at were now pushed together and had a group of people sitting there. The food was okay but very slow service. Always a good idea to bring out the kids food out as fast as possible. Happy kids with full bellies usually mean happy parents and bigger tips for the servers.

The food was great and the staff amazing. They made this outsider feel like I was my neighbourhood pub with all the familiar faces. Highly recommended 👌

The Leek soup with extra cheese and croutons so yummy, came as a side to the manduri chicken wrap. Both so delicious! Hidden gem!

We had lunch today on the patio. The menu offers a lot of great options and aĺl the food I saw being served looked fantastic. I had the liver and onions and a lemonade; it was delicious and the service was excellent. I would suggest stopping in for some food next time you are in Meaford!

I don’t often give 5 stars, however, this great place deserves it. Ben our server was so awesome, friendly and attentive. You could tell he loved his job. The food was so very good. Nice small town feel. We will be back
