Not far from Brampton, yet seems a world away. Has a short trail to explore, complete with butterfly garden and other labeled areas. There's a marsh and the river flowing through it, as well as a public garden with access to herbs like spearmint, when I was there last year.

This area is well worth a visit. The local people are working to preserve the local ecology and provide a place for people to explore and learn. There are lots of activities that take place here and many educational programs for children. We visited during the summer and just wandered around enjoying the peace and tranquility. You can walk through the woods or by the river and you feel that you are miles from anywhere even though you are just a stone's throw from the town. My children enjoyed playing Pooh Sticks on the bridge and generally just being out and about in this beautiful location.

There's a small parking space for 3-4 vehicles. Otherwise it's closed for covid. You can go for a very short hike though, nothing else going on here right now in April 2021

What a cute little eco centre. Lots of wildlife to see, birds and even a family of turtles! Lots of signs about what type of trees are found there. Would be a great place to take the family and have an outdoor learning adventure for free!

Great field trip spot for kids, dogs or adults! Garden, trail, pond, sundial, bridge, lunch spot, it has it all. Trail is short, only 1K

Great quite hidden place that is usually quite and is a great place to bring the kids to throw some rocks in the water and relax. Kids live the summer months and seeing the frogs in the pond!!

Such a nice walk through the woods. Will be heading back again in the spring for sure.

Great little park on the riverside. My son did his volunteer hrs in this park cleanup. Very peaceful in the evening to hear the sound of water.
