Completely fell in love with the place . Such greenery sending you the vibes of u being away from the city . There are many trails within and not a specific area to park your car. We park adjacent to the road . Wear good shoe and keep the map of the trail handy . We chose the Robert trail .. walked all along it and it was lovely trail giving a small detour near the lake . But somehow , we missed signs and followed some other trail in between. . And the result was we reached the other end of the forest landing on some road which was 1 hour 20 mins from the actual car parked location. We took the road and walked to the car 🤣🤣🤣. It was all fun , but just a heads .. reminding how important it is to have the map handy . Otherwise the whole place around it is very beautiful. Happy hiking guys.. it’s beautiful ❤️

Like most families in Ontario, we decided to go on a nature hike on Thanksgiving and chose Silver Creek as our destination of choice. On most days, the lack of parking lot wouldn’t be an issue, but it really stands out as a nuisance on high volume days. The scenery is pretty average as far as hiking trails are concerned but one thing of note is the incredibly rocky terrain. I’ve hiked at quite a few places and found this location to be a bit of a challenge. As expected, the fall colours were amazing to see. I think the trail would benefit by having more clear markers to let you know where you are and where you’re heading.

No official organized parking lot, but plenty of parking along the side of the road near the main entrance and on the trail heads leading into the park. I hiked a 2.7km loop and it was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend this conservation area and hiking shoes (lots of possible ankle twisters). Nice getaway from the busy city and sure beats staying at home.

Did the Robert Side Trail and part of the Bruce Trail. Loved the boardwalk. Wished there were maps on the trails for better reference and navigation. Got a bit lost, but luckily a lot of people around to help. Note that the trails are a bit rocky so proper footwear is a must. Parking on the side (free). I'm sure this place must look spectacular in the fall - look fwd to returning!

Parking is on the side of the road but there was plenty of space when I got there and when I left. This conservation area is so beautiful with many side trails. I hiked the Bruce trail northwards which had very beautiful views and a variety of plants. Watch your step though, as there are some parts with protruding rocks and tree roots that you have to climb over. It can get a little slippery when damp as well. It was such a nice trail, I’ll go back to try out all the small side trails as well. Beautiful area.

Beautiful area. I recommend it to anyone who wants to go out of Toronto and sees some up and down and challenging hiking. There are different pathways to choose some are more challenging some are easier. Free parking and no reservation required. I didn’t see any washrooms.

We went for a hike and chose the northern route on the Bruce trail. The scenery is beautiful, and the trails were well marked with no fear of getting lost at all. I generally rate an easy trail as one where you don't have to watch where you are stepping most of the time. This trail is not that as there are many rocks roots and unlevel surfaces to trip on. That being said we managed 7 km very easily and there were few elevation changes. We really like this conservation area and will return soon.

Very beautiful area if you want to see the Bruce Trail. This is part of the Toronto Section of the Bruce trail that has a lot of rock, roots and flat grounds. Easy to walk through with a lot of different landscape, fauna and nice spots to relax. Check it out if you're in the area and want a easy-intermidiate hike.

Simply superb trail and scenery. Very well blazed trail (well, it's part of the Bruce Trail, which is always well maintained and blazed) and spectacular views, especially in fall - gorgeous autumn foliage. The nearby roads have wide shoulders, so parking isn't a problem.

This Conservation Area is full of wonder. It is a great location to disconnect from our busy city and connect with Nature. They are several trails, but the majority of them are really easy to hike. There is also a few water falls to see.

Love this trail so much! There's a sign at the cross roads. Head to the trail opening and you'll see the map. I came on a Sunday and it wasn't busy on the more difficult trails at all. A park worker even came to ask if we needed any help! MAKE SURE TO WEAR PROPER SHOES! Ankle support is reccomended. Some points of the trail can be dangerous without em. There's difficult terrain on most of the trails the deeper you go. If you're coming with kids, stick to the first half of the trail with the pond and boardwalk. We did a bit of the bruce trail and side trails. There were lots of rocks on the side trails and at one point we were jumping over small caves! We didn't do all of the Bruce trail but we had a great time. Varied terrain. Lots of hills, rocks, dirt. Some spaces were tight some were more open. So many beautiful trees and plants. If you go to the top of the yellow trail and bruce trail, you reach a lookout point and it's beautiful! There were posts along the way that had the colour of the trail you were on, with crosspoints having small arrows pointing to where the new trail is. If you want to walk the whole bruce trail you'll have to park a little further up. Highly reccomend. Such a beautiful area.

Have to rate here as the best trail in autumn near Halton Hills. Colourful trees, you can enjoy some solitude during the quieter times of the day. Generally considered a moderate challenge route.

A nice place for a lengthy hike. We did a 10km loop and the terrain varied which made the hike interesting. The trail consisted of rocky parts, inclines and declines, steps and foot bridges, and flat stretches. The trails are well marked. Came on a cool Friday morning and the trails were practically empty.

Nice place, need to go on a dirt road to get here. The views are amazing, especially in the fall season.

A beauty fall hike here with the fam jam. The colours are about a week away from exploding into reds, yellows, and orange. There are a lot of rocks and uneven trails/ground to walk over, so it's not for everyone. We loved our day here and would love to return to take a different trail. Some geocaches here too if you're into that. 👍

    - Good network of long/short trails to hike - As everyone said, expect a lot of rocks - Parking is by the side of road

Had a ton of fun on this trail! Many different paths to see and great coverage. Even saw a puffball a huge one at that. Love the rock formations here makes for a good challenge while hiking.

Beautiful place, some parts are difficult in bruce trails but was very exciting and was a new experience for us, no picnic spots inside, however you will find some near parking, close to station 5, we enjoyed the fall colors, water in creek was bare minimum. No entry fees.

Amazing trail with lots of rocks, which is not boring and gives more fun for trail walk. It might not ideal for walking with little young kids. Area was very beautiful in fall, will re-visit in spring time! There’s no designated parking spots, street parking allowed and fresh entrance to the area.

The trail is quite difficult as it is too rocky, although there is a good spot with small water pond and wooden walkway

Things to know: 1. No reserved parking. Parking by the roads 2. Carry a bug spray 3. Beautiful trails. Could have been marked a little better.

Very nice trail, although the view along the trail seem to be lacking. Maybe it's because of the snow, but there were not many picturesque spots during our 11km loop. The trail gets very busy at spots as the place seem to be very popular. If you want to avoid people, you may need to come super early (maybe 7am). Parking is mostly on the side of the road and it gets the job done. Considering the popularity, we had bigger expectations for our hike here. Nashville Conservation area was way more picturesque and without any people when we went. Silver Creek is probably much better during summer, so we'll be back to re-explore it again in a few months.

This conservation area is an easy trek up with clear pathways to get to the top. When we were there, large and small dogs, senior citizens and little children easily made it through the path. Beautiful views, eagles flying over and tall trees. Once there however, there is no parking lot so cars are parked along the street; a minor issue.

👍👍 I went on this trail last summer. It is mainly gravel and goes through many small townships. You get old buildings and different kinds of natural landscapes to view. I only did less than half the trail before I circled back, but it is a hidden gem close to the city that makes for an interesting bike...

👍👍 Not far from Brampton, yet seems a world away. Has a short trail to explore, complete with butterfly garden and other labeled areas. There's a marsh and the river flowing through it, as well as a public garden with access to herbs like spearmint, when I was there last year.
