Absolutely my favorite park in Mattoon! Love the playgrounds, scenery, and newer constructed sidewalks through the park. Great place in the summer to go swimming, as well as, watch family- friendly movies in the park!

I grew up in Mattoon and always loved coming to the pool. Even today, we live a 1.5 hour drive away and still occasionally make the trip to enjoy the pool (and Burger King afterwards!) It’s been well maintained and the water slide was a great addition. I think it’s still one of the bigger public pools in downstate Illinois. It’s a great place to visit.

Great pool. Large pool with big slide and things for the little ones to. Kinda pricey. 2 seniors and a 8 year old. 19 dollars for one swimmer. Probably return some day.

Its just a great pool. I love that Mattoon is still putting resources into their park district and I will support them anyway I can. This pool is big and spacious great for all ages. It completes the classic outdoor summer vibe kids need.

Paid 24 dollars for myself and my family to swim. Was there 15 minutes, some clouds rolled in and they called everyone out of the pool for lightning. We waited 30 minutes hoping to go back in and they conveniently spotted more lightning a few minutes before they were supposed to let everyone back in so they closed the pool because it was close to closing by that point. They refused to give anyone refunds even though a lot of people had just gotten there. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Paid 24 dollars just for my kids to be disappointed

It is a great place to take a dip and catch some rays. I used to enjoy taking my boys here when they were young. Wasn't sure about going now that they are all grown, but it is just as enjoyable!

Awesome pool! Kiddo loves it!!! Tons of shallow area for little ones. Life guards are very attentive. $12 for 1 adult and 1 kiddo. The slide is awesome and dumps into a shallow area.

This place is amazing. Did you know Avatar 2 way of the water was filmed in a tank with less water than what's in lytle pool. Over a million gallons of water to cool off in. You can pretend to be in avatar or abyss or even Waterworld if you want.

We always love the pool. Lots of room for everyone. The zero entry in the best for the little people! The life guards are wonderful. I've seen them jump to action to save a child more than once.

Great place for adults and kids. Staff was very unfriendly and not helpful though

One of the best pools in the Midwest! Wish they allowed BYOB in the food area. You’ll love the slide, soft beach, & diving boards. If you have kids, this place is great too. Bring tennis rackets & a picnic basket for a longer day here. Always a good place to spend the day. Season passes are $65; just got one for momma to enjoy this summer.

It's a very nice clean pool. It never really feels like it's crowded when I've been there and the kids always have a great time

This is a great place to take the family and make a day of it. It has a great place for the little kids to play. They have a nice place to sit by the pool to watch the kids. We spend hours at the pool.
