This
little
gem
in
the
heart
of
the
Blue
Mountains
is
not
one
to
be
missed.
The
hosts
at
Glenella
have
retained
all
of
its
old
world
charm
by
decorating
it
throughout
with
antiques,
period
furniture
and
memorabilia.
As
you
enter
the
spacious
front
parlour
you
are
welcomed
by
the
genteel
English
hostess
who
seems
to
blend
perfectly
into
place.
She
is
a
font
of
knowledge
about
Blackheath
and
surrounds
and
will
gladly
provide
you
with
suggestions
of
things
to
do
while
you
are
staying
there.
After
a
quick
tour
of
the
guesthouse
you
will
be
introduced
to
your
room
and
any
other
amenities
you
may
require
to
enjoy
your
stay.
The
bed
was
comfortable
and
we
slept
well
in
spite
of
the
creaking
floorboards.
The
bathroom
was
suitably
old
fashioned,
but
clean
and,
although
the
plumbing
took
a
little
while
to
get
into
action,
the
water
was
hot
and
plentiful.
You
are
encouraged
to
use
the
kitchen
facilities
to
prepare
your
own
meals
or
choose
from
a
number
of
excellent
cafes
and
restaurants
which
are
a
short
walk
from
guesthouse.
Altogether
a
delightful
stay
that
made
us
feel
like
we
had
briefly
gone
back
in
time.
