Worth going at least once, worth a trip to see the sunset πŸŒ‡. This was few years ago... I been back many times since...some times the view is spectacular! Recently Gov have blocked the entry... So need to climb over the fence to get inside!Don't ask me why... Such a popular place and they blocked the entry!

The place was not well maintained by the authorities. The light tower is not accessible easily, and one cannot go all the way up as the small stairs entrance is locked. The beach had lot of broken glass dump and local area's dirt. However, being said this, the views are still fine to observe Hong Kong and Kowloon areas together divided by the sea. Evening is cool and offers good photos opportunities. Stroll through the walkway, all the way till Tin Hau temple is recommended. And the adventurous can go beyond through the Tin Hau temple to the Rocky beach, and all the way trek up to the foothills of the devil's peak cliff rocks. A word of caution for those who venture beyond Tin Hau Temple, as its unmanaged and open territory and the risk is on the travellers account.

Fantastic place for a Sunday outing. The small alley is lined with over 30 seafood restaurants and leads to the light house. Walk further in and you will see the 200year olds Tin Hau temple. Nice tranquil setting. If you are not in seafood (which I think is over priced), there are several small local "cha chan ting"....worth visiting.

An easy walk from the Yau Tong MTR station. Before you reach the coast, you can enjoy seafood or local HK meal and snacks. A good place to enjoy.

It's a good pit stop to the Quarry. A sand bed and some rocks. The entrance to a small light house (not sure if it can be called a light house though) is closed. Close to the Seafood market and can see people fishing. It is a good picture spot though as you can see across central and Kowloon landscapes.

A convenient get-away from the buzzling city life. We didn't eat any seafood here as all of the shop didn't post any price list. The village was definitely not too tidy.

The one Place i go when i am fed up with hectic city life. Village life, small coastal area, camping spots. Serene environment, peaceful ambience..

This area dates as far back as the Ching dynasty when it was ruled by pirates. Now remains an old fishing village where you can still buy live seafood, dry seafood, pasteres and snacks. Live seafood can be bought and have it cooked at a local restaurant here. Beautiful views of Hong Kong Island, fishing boats and the seaway... its a great place for photo taking!

Arrived early for dinner to explore around, fascinated by the spectacular sunset view. This place is worth visiting at least once. Great seafood too!
