The facilities are good enough for business travel. The hotel rooms are tidy but with bit of smell. With continuous hot water for you to enjoy your shower or bath.

This is not my first stay here. But this time, the experience was much better than the last time. There were decent tea bags. The last time I was here, I couldn't get ice cubes for my whisky, but this time, I noticed an ice pail, though it was not necessary because this time, it was winter. The decor has been upgraded, and now doesn't have that jaded and tired look like last time. The breakfast was not very lavish but adequate to cater to different tastes and enjoyable. I got my eggs the way I like them. The front desk staff (English speaking) and concierge were polite enough. This time, the toiletries too were having a good feel. All in all, a comfortable stay.

Nice spacious room. Really really soft comfy bed and pillow. Also has a great view. There might have been some leak on first floor during the visit because there's a smell.. and the hotel was aware of it and was trying to fix it. Recommended.

Dirty and smelly carpets! staff unfriendly except for couple of managers in customer relations who have no authority on changing anything except giving you new room but the same problem exist. the reservation says with breakfast but when i checked in to the hotel i was told, there is no breakfast included, i spoke with manager but nothing was done! This is by far is the worst experience i ever had with a hotel, those guys at the desk are unfriendly and the Restaurant people they make you stand waiting untill they check your name, room and ask for payment right upfront even when they have my card on file. I would give this hotel big zero! Refund?? not possible

The hotel itself i pretty nice! The restaurants are top notch, and perfect for someone that doesn't speak Chinese. Most of the front desk staff speak enough English to get you checked in /out and handle any issues with your room. I was able to switch rooms with no problem since the front of the hotel is a little noisy because of the street. The rooms themselves are all different, you may end up with a 2 star room, you may end up with a 4 star room, so try to stick to the higher floors facing away from the street if you can. The only complaint I had about the rooms is the beds, they are all super hard! This was definitely worth the price though!

As a foreigner in the country visiting this hotel, it was very pleasant. It was by the subway station, and the options for breakfast were quite a few. The hotel staff tried to speak English, but it would be helpful if you had a guide. Luckily someone in my group spoke Chinese, so it wasn't an issue. Very pretty hotel, and the executive suite was very nice!

The hotel is very convenient located near the boarder of Hong Kong. The service was professional. The staff were polite and helpful. The English of the staff isn't great but that's not a big deal it's manageable. The only negatives were the outdated room decor, the very hard bed and the terrible pillows.

It's a good hotel, definitely not a 5 star one. The rooms are clean but getting old. The swimming pool is big enough but you can't swim in it without a hat, Chinese Law apparently, so hard to enjoy it. It's a 10 minute walk north-west of the border.

It's a very dated hotel from the 90s, seen the best of times, but still maintain a bit of its grandeur in a tired way. However, when you find out the rate is so reasonable, all is forgiven. For the price, what you're getting is a fairly large room, well enough maintained for a comfortable stay. It's so close to the China Hong Kong border immigration control, also a short walk to metro and train station. Nowadays, it's also very easy to flag down a taxi to go anywhere. For all these plus points, I don't mind to stay here again next time.
