My family and I had a great stay at Hyatt Place Shenzhen Dongmen. Our rooms were spacious and new, and the layout was well designed. The bathroom was large and the shower was great. Plus the number of power plugs in the rooms was a nice touch. Everyone at the hotel is kind and welcoming. I was truly impressed by the hotel staff's attention to detail, even how the staff knew that I was vegetarian (as noted by previous Hyatt staff on earlier stays) and they offered to show me what vegetarian options were available at the breakfast buffet. My whole family loved it. We felt like it matched or even surpassed the breakfast at hotels with higher stars (but somehow they also charge extra for breakfast?!). We ate more than enough and were very happy with the wide variety of options, both Western and Chinese. I would highly recommend this Hyatt Place if you're planning a trip to Shenzhen!

Will definitely choose to stay here again when I come back to Shenzhen. Room was clean and spacious. One of the better hotels you’d be able to find around the area. Cleanliness, location, food around the hotel are all 5 stars. Amenities are adequate and room is well maintained. Shopping district, You’d be able to shop and drop your bags back at the hotel. Then continue shopping again! Choice of smoking n non-smoking room. Breakfast was complimentary. Decent selection. Along with an egg station. Staffs are well versed in English. It was an amazing stay!

Excellent location right on top of 1234 Space shopping mall where you’ll find restaurants, Starbucks, various milk tea shops and more on the 4th and 5ft floor! Laojie Subway station right underneath the hotel with direct line to Shenzhen airport and just a few minutes walk to Dongmen shopping streets! Spacious room with a nice view. So comfortable bed, clean and awesome decor! The front desk staffs are so welcoming and extra thankful for our room upgrade! Unquestionable hospitality and undoubtedly recommendable!

Located in the bustling area of Dongmen and just above the MRT, you are within reach of many of the cities attraction. The hotel lobby is located on the 6th floor with plenty of wide open spaces. The rooms are clean, spacious and maintained really well. Housekeeping was tip top. Breakfast was always busy but we always manage to find a place to sit. Nice and compact breakfast selection with fresh juices, coffee featuring western and eastern flavors. Personally I had a very nice experience staying here.

Really nice hotel at the entrance of a very cool walking area. Tons of great food options. Right above the subway, so easy access. Hotel was really nice, staff were very helpful, and breakfast was lovely. The one thing I didn't like, in fact hated, was that at the lights switch to the bathroom controls both the bathroom and this mini walk in closet. The mini walk in closet doesn't have a door. Therefore if your partner is sleeping in bed and you go to the bathroom late or early, there's a very high chance that this light will wake them up. Apart from that, the room was delightful.

Nice and clean room with amazing customer services. The fluent English speaking manager is so friendly. There is no problem for the foreigners at all. The hotel just right in the centre of the city and very convenient to eat and shop. The breakfast is just so so which I don't care because I can find a lot better food outside else. I would love to come back to stay again.

The hotel is right next to Dongmen shopping district and right above a subway station. I stayed in a suite with two washrooms, very spacious with open view of the city. The room was very clean with free internet. Breakfast was also included which makes the stay almost perfect. The only problem was that the air conditioner seemed to be on a timer mode (although it did not show as such) and it shut down by itself after a certain time. It happened to shut down around 4am and we had to turn it back on. But for a very reasonable price, I will live with that. Hopefully the management can fix the problem soon.

Great hotel. Comfortable and spacious room with a super bed and spotless bathroom. The breakfast is rich and tasty, and the staff very helpful. The only minus are the thin walls which allow you to hear your neighbor snoring.

My family and I stayed at the Hyatt Place Shenzhen DongMen hotel in May 2019. It was fabulous! We had friendly service by Penny at the front desk when we checked in. Our rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Terrific shower pressure even on higher floor levels. At breakfast, Rachel remembered that we preferred vegetarian foods. That was a pleasant surprise and kind gesture on her part. The meal was great! Thank you to Mr. Jiang and his team for making our stay a very pleasant experience. We would love to return again in the future! Thank you for your time and communication with our son, Adam, who lives in Hong Kong. He was very grateful for your efforts to go the extra mile to make our stay so memorable.

I stayed here for two nights in July 2016. The experience was really nice. The location of the hotel is very central and conveniently located near to the metro station, Laojie. There is a shopping mall in the same building, and you can find a bookstore, Starbucks and restaurants there. The entrance to the hotel is on the other side of the building, so it's very safe and separated from the shoppers. The staff is pretty attentive and friendly. The breakfast is great and I like the dining area. The room I got was a basic one, but it's very comfortable and clean. I would choose this hotel again if I come back to Shenzhen.

Situated at a convenient location within walking distance to all major shopping streets and mall. Hotel room is spacious and clean. Breakfast choice is limited but sufficient for a business traveler.

Itchy! Itchy! There are bed bugs all over the hotel. Argh!! Terrible can’t sleep the whole night. Wifi not working. Breakfast is bad.
