BE AWARE OF THE DEPOSIT!! My stay at this hotel was great, the room was spacious for 3 guests and very comfy and we had a great view from our room on the 27th floor. But be aware of the deposit they may put on your card. They held CNY6000 on my card and my final bill was CNY4011. They told me they would refund the difference but actually charged my card a second time for the amount of CNY4011. I have not yet received my refund of the deposit and was told it would take 2 weeks for me to get it back. Nice hotel but I won't be staying here again.

Nice new facilities, fairly good location in the city. Most staff members were helpful. Food service and offerings very average. Overall over-priced and sadly part of an inferior hotel network.

The hotel is less than average, its location is not suitable if you come for tourism, and yet the room is large, but there were smells, and also there were no food services after 11 pm, the most beautiful thing is the club, and there is difficulty in communicating with the hotel workers teams, Second time visiting the hotel, bad experience

Very helpful door staff, gave us a bag when we did not even stay there. Also have interesting concept of a communal comb in their bathroom, made me laugh... Thank you!

Incredible staying! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious and the location was great, next to the metro station and close to shopping malls.

Clean and spacious rooms. Service was excellent, we even got a free upgrade as there was 1 hr delay to check in. The location is very near to Futian High Speed Rail but if you are coming as a tourist, it's a bit far from tourist spots. I would love to come back again.

One of the best, value for money. Clean rooms, great view. Top favourite is their gym on 31st storey, although not big but good enough with an overall view of futian area.

Great location with plenty of major shopping centers and local shops within walking distance. The underground metro is 20 m away. Rooms are clean and huge with a fantastic view (we are at rm 3515). The hotel also has a robot that delivers food delivery to your room but the robot also causes problems with the elevators. Minor issues are the soundproofing of the room doors can be improved with rubber strips on the door frame. The elevator (one especially) will not go down to the lobby, mid way through the ride, it will forget to go to the lobby and goes upward again which causes annoyance to all in the elevator.

Very convenient location , plenty of eateries to get to for decent food. A few maintenance issues in the room, basic things though. The service was good and the hotel prices reasonable. Over all not bad

Quick check in. Rooms are quite large with very high ceilings and massive windows. Great views. Bedding and room amenities are top shelf. It’s located 1/2 a block from the metro entrance. Rates are reasonable for the quality. Gym was a bit small but pool was nice with great views.

In short if you are looking for a Grand experience this is a must visit hotel. The rooms are huge (I had booked a room with kingsize bed on the 33rd floor). This is a must stay place for the first time visitors to Shenzhen. The concierge service is really excellent, they speak and understand English, they go out of their way to make your stay and travel around in the city pleasant and always have you at ease. The place is very close to GangXia metro station which is on line1 (150 mtrs from the gate). They also do currency exchange and accept Visa/Mastercard as well. The hotel has very well stocked bar near the reception, a 24 hours restaurant on 3rd or 4th floor. 31st floor has a club lounge which is paid to access, but on the same floor, the fitness center and the swimming pool are open to all guest. I would like to specially mention the General Manager here Mr Hassan (he is pakistani), is really excellent and a great host. Was so happy to speak in hindi with him, he also speaks Arabic, Chinese and is learning Spanish. He is the goto person for anything you need. The Wyndham Grand Hotel has their own app, which you just scan the QR code and it opens up, you order room service or food or any help you need, its in English, so very easy to use. Being centrally located in Shenzhen is great advantage when you stay here. I was here for a business trip and commuting by taxi/walking/metro was no trouble at all in any direction 24/7. I stayed there for all 7 days and 6 nights, so speaking with experience, could do a 25min walk to the coco park and back even as late as 4am in morning, no trouble in this neighborhood, its very safe and cops help you on your way if you are lost (I had Google maps and Bidu maps so I have never lost). Learn a bit of Chinese greeting like hello and thank you and use a translator app when in doubt. Shenzhen city is a delightful place with so many colorful and wonderful people. Will surely visit again next time.

Do not trust google map location by name. Find hotel using address. It is about 800m distance. Frint desk is new and don't know whay is a hotel membership. Room is large and clean but neighbouring area is under construction so it not good to walk around.

Location was good in some respects, but not so good in others. Very few eating choices nearby, but not knowing the language may have been part of the problem. When with locals, it seemed better. Not quite used to the food.....

I love this hotel! Everytime I am in Shenzhen I stay here. The rooms I get are extremly spacious. The last time I had a room with a guest toilet next to the entrance (room #2807). The bathroom with the round bathtub, the movie channel, the breakfast, the pool - just great! I especially like the access to the business suite with cool drinks and some food with a great view. The next metro station is just 100 m away. Strong recommendation!
