Englewood Canine Corral

Dog park

👍👍 First time having my dog, Zues, off leash. This dog park was perfect for him. All of the dogs that showed up were friendly, owners knew each other and we spent an hour just having fun. Get there early if you want to have more space to yourself. People often mention park, dogs, water, owners, good, nice, bring,

4/5 Stars ➖ Good dog park. Not far from River Point shopping (Costco, Target). Picnic tables for the humans. Free parking. Pretty big and fenced in. Pretty responsible owners. Usually pretty clean. Only drawback is it’s sort and gets muddy with some puddles when it’s wet and can be icy in winter. There are water bowls and poop bags and a water faucet in the summer. UPDATE Jan 28, 2020. New wood chips have been put down across the entire surface. No longer muddy! 👏

My puppy is afraid of other dogs but all the other dogs were really nice to her, and me. Everyone helped us feel welcome even though we were the new kids on the block

Our dog, Fergus, absolutely LOVES this park and I really appreciate how dog parents bring a big bottle of water to fill the various bowls around the place. I think more parents need to help out with this, especially, since warmer weather is coming. We bring a big bottle every to to share. The park is clean and LOTS of room to run, run, run!! Our Fergus plays very well with others and it's so fun to be out in the fresh air and allow the dogs to play. Great park!

My pup has been coming here since she was 5 months old (she is now 7 months) and we absolutely LOVE this place. We became regulars super quick! Everybody is really nice and are very attentive to their dogs, especially if you bring a puppy. My girl loves this place so much! It is very spacious and has benches and chairs. There are water bowls at the park and a water pump as well. People take turns refilling the water bowls. We are so lucky to live very close so we come daily! It’s an awesome dog park.

Friendly dogs and owners. A lot of people bring water. As a whole, the owners are good about picking up after their dogs. The surface is mulch, not dirt - except where the dogs have been digging. Very nice setting, with mature trees, benches and picnic tables.

Some dog owners are questionable. But it is a fun place to play when not many people are present

Came here during my visit to Ruby Hill. My dogs seemed to enjoy themselves, and there was a good variety of dogs ranging in different sizes. In the summer the trees can provide shade, and the dogs leave fairly clean since the ground is mulch-covered. It has an obstacle course, and a water pump!

Wood chips are an odd turf in my opinion. I understand the mud factor. Would be nice if there was more shade. A nice river/creek close by

Good city dog park, most dogs and people are friendly. The park is basically a fenced in acre and a half rectangle with vision to all sides. The ground is covered in wood chips which help with pick up and mud mitigation. A couple trees provide some shade for the summer but it definitely gets hot, luckily it’s near the river and a stream runs next to it so there are plenty of dog dipping spots. Water can be found on site in the summer, but is shut off for the winter months. My dog likes this park there is usually a medium to large group of other dogs, plenty of play friends that tire him out, so I like this park.

Rode my bike on the E9 to two dog parks, the first being (jason park) lame, but large space for off leash timeframes…but by far the best was Canine Corral (named after the 1994 Edward Norton film and winner of Beijing Film Festival’s coveted Crying Monkey Award) off leash dog park. Conveniently located along the bike trail, with plenty of parking if you drive. This dog park has everything…secure entrances on either end, plenty of options to choose how you enjoy watching or interacting with your best friend and todays attendance (Saturday) was close to last year’s record breaking high! So many playful pups we’re having so much fun! It reminded me of going there earlier today before I wrote this review…ah the memories! Edgar Martinez was with me and he was so excited to see so many friends and people too. Definitely making this our weekly Saturday dog gone destination. Peace out and Sit Ubu sit…good dog.

My favorite dog park in the area. Great owners and lots of space to play. Mulch with very little dirt. Some grass. Great park.

Not a good experience here. Poop everywhere. Also, why the heck are there Goat Heads in a part of the dog park??!! My dog had two of them struck in his paws before we realized not to use that part of the park. Clean it up please!

Great place to let your dog run around and socialize with others. Clean and well maintained, well shaded and good water supply. Just please remember that if your canine friend is in heat wait to bring her, this causes problems with the other dogs.

Honestly best dog park in Colorado. Easy. The people are all friendly and easy going, the ground is woodchips which keeps the smell down, the fence is 4 foot chainlink and secure with two access gates. It backs to a river and walking trail (so bring bug spray on the summer) and the parks crew maintains it regularly!!

Nice little fenced in dog park, plenty of waste bags and trash cans, a few trees for shade, a small obstacle course, then restrooms (portopotty) outside the gate for the humans. Usually a pretty good crowd day to day, and a good amount of walking space to get away from the action just in case it is not.

The cleanest dog park I've been to. Both of my boys love it. There are always dogs there and a lot of regular visitors

Amazing dog park with a decent size open space !! It's right off of a trail which makes it easy for me to get an afternoon walk in as well as let the dogs loose. I have 2 german shepherds and everyone's dog was very friendly with them ! Definitely a nice park if your looking for something not too big, not too small.

Pretty large dog park that is mostly wood chips so there isn't a ton of mud. They also had a few little plastic swimming pools the other day that some dogs were having a blast in. Will definitely be back with my dog Blitz!

My dogs favorite dog park! This place is massive and the pups absolutely love it. It's clean and well maintained. All of the other dog owners I've encountered here have been kind and responsible.
