Camp Eastman playground and splash pad. Across the road from Durand Eastman beach. Five minute drive from 590N or Ontario Expressway. Small playground for younger and older children. Lots of shade, which is a plus. Bathrooms, soccer fields, pavilion with picnic tables & plenty of benches for adults. Pretty Gazebo too. My three year old enjoys the playground very much. I gave this a three star because the splash pad is grimey. Kids running can slip and fall. Must wear water shoes to go in splash pad. No slide, just sprinklers. Garbage cans for trash. Plenty of parking. One thing to keep in mind: this play area is at Camp Eastman which , from July through August, is a day camp for kids. There may be times of day when it is busy. When we played there today (August 5, 12pm-1:45) the playground and splash pad were not being used by campers. All in all, its a nice place, and for a kid, its just right!

Very nice place to go with the family, kids friendly, on summer days the spray park is on, but usually is very slippery do to lack off maintenance, is a beautiful place for a picnic while the kids enjoy the playgrounds, there's trash cans, wheelchair accessible for playground and parking, public bathroom

We visited to use the Splash Pad and I was pleasantly surprised by the adjacent playgrounds. The splash area is small but we’ll contained, but I was super disappointed by the length of spray time. My 2yo was pressing the button every 2-3 minutes because the water shuts off so quickly. The playgrounds are great though and there is plenty of shade. It was not busy on a weekday before lunch time.

Free splash park. Playground has a merry go round, which is rare to find. Lovely all-around park area.

My kids always love a trip to the spray pad in warm weather! There's a large playground near it that gives lots of options if kids get bored with the water. The spray area isn't contained, but it's closed off on 2-3 sides and easy to supervise. The playground is definitely not for the unsupervised runner - it's hard to see every area at once. If you get there and the water is off, don't worry! It just needs to be turned back on every now and then and the signage should tell you how. There's usual an open bathroom across a small field. There are two sheltered areas for sitting/eating. The park has garbage cans available.

The playground and splash pad are nice, and we love that it has trees and is shaded. I only give 3 stars because the splash pad had VERY slippery areas that seem to maybe have algae growth. I was only there for a short time and saw many kids slip and hit their heads on the pavement. I'm not sure what can be done but just wanted to give families a heads up to bring water shoes and make sure your kids walk...even then they still may slip 😔
