Great place to visit when you're in Port Huron. There's so much history to learn and the tour guides are all knowledgeable. This year 2022 the entrance fee is free.

Absolutely fantastic! The ship is really well taken care of and really takes you back in time. The ladders can be tricky if you're not used to things like that, but it gives you the authentic ship experience. I love the smell of it; it has the old ship smell.

Took my grandsons to tour the lightship and they had a blast! The staff on the ship was friendly. If you haven’t ever taken a tour of the lightship then you need to! It’s free all summer!

Recommend the experience. The gentleman at the door were very knowledgeable. Take a few dollars there's a tip jar.

Super cool lightship museum. Pretty narrow space and steep ladder stairs inside. Not wheelchair/handicap accessible inside. Lovely views of the St. Clair River and Blue Water Bridge. Free admission for all of 2022.

Love touring the Lightship. Dry docked along St. Clair River in Pine Grove Park. The upper deck offers a beautiful view of the river, Blue Water Bridges, shipping and of course the Canadian border. The ship's ladder/stairs are not handicapped friendly however can be navigated if not too handicapped. There are no bathroom facilities. No wheelchair access. Learn how the Lightship was used in Lake Huron to help with water rescues, navigation and the men whom lived on the ship.

Fantastic little museum! Jerry was a great tour guide and explained everything super well so that even a landlubber like me understood perfectly :-) Both gentlemen working on the ship the day I visited had a great sense of humor and were wonderful to talk to. So glad this important piece of history is being preserved!

Fascinating tour - floating lighthouse. The guide was very knowledgeable and encouraged questions. The displays were great. You got a real feel of how the crew lived and worked. The memorial to the lost crewmembers was moving.

Extremely well preserved ship, one of very few light-ships open for tours. Fantastic guided tour given by William. I especially loved that we are able to climb into the engine room.

It was a great experience overall. The staff on the boat were very knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to answer any questions that you have, regarding the history of the ship & it's crew. It was totally free to go in and check it out, so I encourage you to stop by, if you're in the area!

Neat little museum telling the suite of the Coast Gaurd Light Ships. Great and knowledge all volunteer staff that took their time with us and really seemed to enjoy the interaction.

Great little piece of history. The volunteers do an excellent job of telling this ships and other related stories. If you're lucky you'll hear an air horn salute and response from a passing freighter.

The lightship is full of wonderful things to see and it's awesome to be able to stand on the deck and view the river.

Amazing staff and volunteers. Jerry shared a lot of information with us regarding the light ship and the program that keeps the doors open. What an amazing resource to have available to educate anyone who has never been able to experience all of the navigational history of our state.

Cool museum aboard a decommissioned Lightship. Wonderfully preserved location and very knowledgeable tour guides. If you're going, it's part of a network of several small museums around Port Huron and there's a discounted rate for getting access to all four at once. The only negative thing I can say is that, with Covid, none of the tour guides and most attendees were not wearing masks for the indoor parts of the tour.

A Port Huron gem. There’s a lot of history packed into this little light-ship and our guide, Jerry, told us it’s story with wit and insight. Be prepared to negotiate some tight spaces and steep ladders. (Make sure you ask Jerry about the bilge rat)
