Honestly the best hostel I have ever stayed in Japan. The recently renovated room was very tidy with comfortable beds. I especially enjoyed the beautiful wood pieces and the unique lights that create the cozy atmosphere. Very convenient location, highly recommend.

This was a great stay! The place is very close to the station and there are many convini around the area. The staff was very friendly, and we had a good chat. The place itself was clean and the bathroom was spacious. The room is on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator to it. The only thing you want to noted is when you check in, you have to go the office which is close to the actual room. However it's a different building. They also have breakfast for an additional fee. Overall, for its price it is very good. Wished I stay longer

I will stay in traditional Apt for 4 nights. The location near Kawaramachi Station and flag shopping for new tourist like me is so perfect. Today is my first day here and the householder is nice and clear introduction with the using of the room, willing to answer your questions. It also seems a good choice for students and singal visitor. I WOULD LIKE TO watch TV quietly😃😃😃😄.

The fourth floor guest apartment could use the following improvements: 1. Mosquito screens for their balcony windows (we ended up full of mosquito bites) [網戸]. 2. Much better Wi-Fi. The signal was very weak possibly due to the same networking being shared by the whole building across cement walls. 3. Have check-in on site or without a person. It seemed redundant to have to check in at a separate office and then shuttled by car to the actual site. Otherwise the location was convenient, had comfortable furnishings and good amenities.

I'd like to stay here again. The staff and owner was really friendly so we felt comfortable during our stay. It's located near the station where you can take trains to get to somewhere easily and there is a bus stop for the airport limo.

I made a booking at 4590JPY for 5 people. The Landlord noticed he made a mistake and sent me an email that i didn't read with a new price 13,770JPY. When i arrived at The Traditionnal payment while i still had my 5 people reservation for 4590JPY he asked me to pay his new price that i refused to pay. The room was ready but he refused to provide the room at the booking price. I needed to find a new hotel with all my family at 11PM. Avoid this place !

Very nice little hostel. The owner speaks a little English and is very nice. The rooms are clean, like a "ryokan" which is traditional Japanese housing (tatami and futon). Wifi is provided.

Highly recommend. The room has been renovated from a traditional Japanese house and blends well with modern style. The owner is very nice and kind. They also helped keep our luggage during our trip in Naoshima. Thank you very much for the help.
