We were 6 went to the Lucknow's famous Tunday Kababi, it's no longer a name but a brand spread across India. The place is not great, or the ambience but ohh boy the food does justice and the price is reasonable. For 6 foodie's we got a shocking bill of 1400/- to which one said Bhai kisi or table ka hoga itna Kam nhi ho sakta :D. But in all Galawat Kebabs are really mouth melting irrespective of your food status.

Tundey Kababi most Iconic Kebab Paratha Shop ever witnessed by anyone.!!! They Serve Delicious Galaouti Kebabs & Parathas at very reasonable price. ...very few people know the fact that this Tundey shop is the First one opened among the tundey Franchises.. If you are in Lucknow & Non Veg Lover..then this place is must must visit for you. Only drawbacks are that you can't go there by four wheelers..and there is no parking place for vehicles..situated in the crammed by lanes of chowk.

Very hard to find but thankfully managed to. Cool inside as it was a torrent of heat out. Short menu, in fact there is no menu as they only do 2 things. Kebabs and paratha. All you do is tell them how many plates you want. It’s pretty cheap and the kebabs are awesome. Not the place for your veg date. Top notch. Worth the hunt.

Place has really good food. Very cheap. This is the original one which serves only buffalo meat gulawti kebabs with roti and nothing else. Not even chai. One plate of kebab with one roti costs only Rs.30 and is extremely tasty. The staff is nice and obliged to bring a water bottle from outside if we gave the cash. Highly recommended for meat lovers looking for the authentic tunday ki kebabi (literally translates to buffalo meat kebabs)

Great kababs.. nice authentic food. They serve Badde k kababs here.. in the centre of the old lucknow. Kababs are very soft at same same time crispy at top. Parathas they serve are great too. No air conditions are there. Hygiene is a issue.. very hot in summers. No restroom available.. but if u wanna have the original and authentic food plz visit the place.

I am vegetarian but when ever I plan to go Lucknow, I made point to visit this place. I take with myself a non vegetarian friend whom I ask to taste Tundey Kababs. The review is based on the feedback I received from my non vegetarian friends, the food quality is just awesome. As the market is always busy there service is also prompt and the staff is extremely courteous. I just love being it here. You will always found this place crowded with kebab lovers, where people taking photos of kebabs. But this place not only serve kebabs, it has more to offer. Tunde ke kabab were introduced to the Nawab of Awadh Wajid Ali Shah.Lucknow’s iconic eating joint Tunday Kababi, started in 1905, is famous for serving buffalo meat galouti kebab.Buffalo meat kebabs are cheaper than chicken or mutton kebabs. Its original outlet is located in Chawk area behind Akbari Gate in Old Lucknow.t these kebabs are said to incorporate 160 spices. however the service at this outlet is very poor and this place is not hygenic at all.during heavy rush hours some times they serve semi cooked kebabs and semi cooked parathas.when u r with ur friends and guests its better to visit aminabad outlet .

Awesome kabab, one can wish for, It is located in a narrow lane, easily located by asking localities, P.S. they only serve eatables made up of beef. Here you can get kabab stuffed with paratha, one can say Kababi roll. Cheers for Tunday Kababi!!

Well this place is known for tundey kababs but must try item is pasanda. It just melts in ur mouth. 2 seekh for 35 rs.

I don't understand why they are so famous everywhere but, The kabab does not taste even half as good as other kababs I've tasted in Lucknow, the hygiene was at least, waitering service was pretty fast, we got our food right after the order, but the taste was so bad, the quality wasn't good enough, and the kababs didn't have anything in it but plain fried kabab The place where it is located is one of the dirtiest parts of Lucknow Even sewer lines were open and bees were everywhere I would recommend everyone to not to go there, you can get way better kabab than this around hazratganj or any local area

The best place on Earth to eat Tunday Kabab. Authentic, pure ghee stuff and the ambiance is amazing . Your visit to Lucknow is incomplete if you do not try this(if you're a non vegetarian).
