No dedicated parking, residential street parking only. Dogs welcome (in the outdoor seating area only) Staff are friendly and welcoming. A great selection of food and drinks on the menu with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. 2x meals 2x cappuccino £29.40 (prices may have changed since our visit).

Fantastic place. The food was beautiful and cooked to order. The pancakes were marvellous. If you eat in the sheltered outdoors area, dogs are welcome, with 2 water bowls provided. They even stock dog-friendly ice cream!

First visit yesterday and will definitely be back! We were seated quickly on arrival. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing. I had the chicken and halloumi flatbread and my friend got the bacon and maple syrup pancakes. We were asked to pay as soon as we ordered which wasn't a problem, meant we could leave when we wanted. They also let us pay separately which is always a bonus. The one and only downside is there is no parking but plenty of street parking around the place. Can't wait to return.

Gorgeous cafe in hunswick. There is a lovely flowery room, a grey and pink room (where we sat) and an outdoor area. It's a really beautifully presented cafe and takeaway and gift shop. The food is amazing, we had breakfast stack ( veggie) and strawberry and Nutella American pancakes, home made pancakes were excellent. Presentation was lovely on matching heart plates and the food tasted great and about average prices. The cakes looked absolutely stunning!! The staff looked really well presented, very polite and clearly happy in their jobs. Could do with a bit more flowery deco in the pink and grey room. Would recommend a visit and defo be going back. 😁👍👍

Wasn't going to post about this little gem as wanted to keep it a secret. Went for a lovely walk along the river and came up to the village and found this wonderful place, dogs allowed in the back garden area which is spacious, clean and caters from kids to adults. Service was great, food was lovely, only small negative, they didn't off water for the dogs, but the person serving was new. Definitely go back and highly recommend!!

We've just discovered this lovely tea room, and enjoyed a delicious brunch today. Very welcoming and pleasant staff. Great choice of foods and drinks, all at reasonable prices. The room settings and decorations are amazing. There is also a very good gift shop with plenty of different items. The selection of cakes and baked goods is excellent. Recommend a visit. We'll definitely be back.

Visited on a damp drizzly day and hoped we might sit in the new pods. Although they were empty, as we had dogs we had to sit in the tea huts which is great on a warm day, but not a pleasant experience when it's cold and damp. Although we enjoy visiting the Quarry, we won't be back until the warmer weather next year when it's comfortable to sit outdoors.

Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon after having driven past multiple times but never stopping. So pleased we did. Had to wait for 10 minutes for a table, but we're given a menu and shown to the comfortable conservatory while we waited. The food was delicious, and each of our party commented on how tasty their choice was, with the bacon, brie, and cranberry hot sandwich a definite recommendation. From when we entered to when we left, the service was prompt and the team friendly and helpful. Even on a miserable day the view was great and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. A hidden gem well worth a detour to visit.

We arrived on monday afternoon and i was shocked to find the place packed, always a good sign. We were seated quickly and served in a timely manner. Food was fantastic and they were all to accommodating with our request for extra black pudding. Two tray bakes to take home, which were really outstanding! Beautiful little tea room can definitely recommend.

Lovely setting with views across the Dene. Very nicely decorated inside with design that gives your party privacy if you want it. Breakfast is lovely - nice local produce. Cakes are to die for. Service is very good too. Nothing to fault

Fabulous food and service. The staff are so friendly and even though they were very busy they were so organised and efficient. Our food arrived after a short wait and was delicious.

They've definitely gone for a sugary sweet, cutesy style with the café decor. Went for breakfast, which was both very good quality and good value. Service was friendly, but not the fastest. It took 10 minutes to have our order taken and 40 minutes for the food to arrive. That was the only negative really. Hopefully this isn't the norm. They also ask for payment as the order was taken, which isn't usual in my experience. The café also had a very enticing bakery counter... might have to visit again to try those!

I hadn't heard of The Quarry Tea House until last week, but it's a lovely place! I had a delicious Eggs Florentine, cooked to perfection. The staff were wonderful - attentive, efficient and friendly, and the restaurant itself is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. I highly recommend eating here.

I just happened to drive by and spotted the all pink ,with hearts and flower tea house. From outside it looks like a doll house , really pretty. Inside ,as you head into the right side of the place there is a lovely open fireplace, a big display with all their cakes and the tables are sectioned into tiny cozy rooms full of colour. I would have loved to sit there, as the view is facing the beautiful hills. Unfortunately I assume all seats were taken, as I was offered to sit on the other side , just as you go in, passing their mini shop with various lovely ornaments , in a wooden decor constructed tables, benches and high stools. The concept is great, but the wood work not so much. Besides the rough look of the badly cut timber , split timber with screws not screwed all the way( watch your clothes), the top was not leveled, making it a bit tricky to not spill your glass/ mug. I ordered a caramel latte that camed fast but had way too much caramel, so , as much as I appreciate the generosity, it tasted like a flavoured cough siroup. The foam on my latte was nowhere to be seen as they burned the milk. The breakfast I had was okeish, I would have expected to exceed a tad for the price. To explain, the egg and cherry tomatoes and beans were the only ones to be hot while the rest was almost cold. Although cold, they were again really generous on the bacon, which I didn't finish . Presentation of the plate very pretty, with heart plate, mini pan for the beans , a tiny cup for salt and pepper. The staff was pleasant and polite, I found it a bit weird that we had to pay after you just ordered, and initially was under the impression they are only asking me , as , to be honest, I was dressed really bad- like I just left the construction site..., but then I noticed they were doing this with all customers . I wasn't expecting this approach in such a small village, but , anyway, their shop, they can do whatever they want. I had a look at the garden as well, same fairy ,pink, cake concept. Despite the downsides, I will visit them again, and I think you should too!

Easily missed, a good rather colourful outside seating area as well as a indoor area too. The service was good, food very nice and quiet reasonable.
