In fame: - Lucknowi Gosht Biriyani (1/2 kg) - Gulab Jamun with Rabri . I always feel that @Biriyani by Kilo is very expensive place and yes, it is. Do we get quality? Yes, Quantity? Yes. So, how was the experience - not overwhelming. The muttons were so tender, melt in mouth. Flavourful, well cooked. 5-6 pcs of mutton with great size. Biriyani Rice is kind of disappointing, it has all the flavours but kind of not gone with my taste pallet. Gulab Jumun is absolutely stunner. Soft and kesar inside. But the rabri is 😑, it more feels like firni. I don't know do if they really serve this as Rabri. Then they need to taste original rabri🤣🤣. Still for the mutton pices I had a great dinner. Writing about my recent experience (2 days back) Starters were fine. We had sheekh kabab(top notch) and a non veg platter from which I liked the chicken tikka the most, mutton Galouti is equally great, Just melts in your mouth. Moving ahead to the main course , we had Hyderabadi chicken biryani and Hyderabadi gosht biryani, to be honest me and my family weren't satisfied, it was average in taste. Lastly for dessert we had phirni which tasted good, but didn't resemble the consistency of phirni at all. again average. Overall, thumbs-up for the starters. And, the decor is quite pretty too. (4/5) Staffs were diligent, but due to less work force at that point of time we didn't recieve the service we expected. (4/5)

Very nice location and environment. Staff were very nice and ready to serve things ordered asap. Good for both dine in and delivery. They give the small oven for dum if you need to warm biryani at home.

Biryani by kilo is now in Siliguri located at Quest Ujagar, Pranami Mandir road. Tried the Lucknowi Chicken Biryani & Chicken Korma, totally loved the biryani, super yum! The Matka Phirni is also really good, such rich & creamy texture, the flavour of saffron is quite prominent, apt for all the dessert lovers! Out of all the delicacies served here, the Jamuni Tikka, Imli Adraki Lemonade & the Lucknowi Murg Biryani and the Matka Phirni are a must try here!

Ambience is too good and well behaved staffs. The taste of biryani we ordered was different and unique from the biryani we use to eat usually. We ordered Murgh lucknowi Biryani and phirni kulhad( in desserts must try) and it was too delicious. Worth eating

When I visited for the 4th time, they gave me a complimentary PHIRNI😍..awesome..isnt it? Kallol and Sourav were the perfect food servers at that time. Thank you guys!! Many will say that the service is bad and all. And that they make you wait for the food and seat. DONT LISTEN TO THAT, Go for yourself and check it out. Since this place opened up during Durga Puja so it had a lot of demand. So obviously, people had to wait in line for the seat as well as for the food. But the wait is worth it because they give you FRESHLY COOKED BIRYANI IN MATKA - this feelinf you get nowhere else. The best biryani I had out here is Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani - 4pcs chicken, with Mirchi ka Salan. Small place but you'll get the authentic Mughali heritage feels. Its actually best for take-away and online orders.

I ordered Kolkata Chicken Biryani (with add on chicken and potato, 1 pc each) and Matka Phirni (250gms) from here through Swiggy for my parents (as I am located in a different city) on the occasion of their marriage anniversary. The food came with additional raita, salad and two candles. It was well-packed and quantity was good enough. The taste was also good. Though the price is a bit on the higher side, but I would definitely recommend it.

The experience was good. The food here is very tasty. The ambience is one of the plus points. I visited here with my friends we ordered 2 chicken lakhnowi biryani and 1 chicken hyderabadi biryani and 2 shikanji. The staffs were very friendly and polite. But the price is little too high. Overall experience was good. Could be visited once in a while.

Food is okay. Taste is okay. Nothing to brag about. Worste part is the service. We entered at 9:30 PM , ordered Biryani - Hyderabadi and Seekh Kebabs. The waiter told that the order would take 20 mins to be precise and guess what.... the food arrived at our tables almost an hour later i.e. almost around 10:40 PM. Please have a smooth and fast service.

Food quality is not fantastic but not bad either.. Price was little bit high.. Biriyani was not up to the mark.. Overall place was nice and the setting was cool.. But it's not a big restaurant, they could expand the place a little bit..

Recently they opened an outlet in Siliguri, so really wanted to try them out bcz have been hearing about them for quite a while. And I was shocked by the quality & taste of the Foods, their Biryani was just of different level still can't get over it. And specially the Firni & Chicken Ghee Roast was too delicious to be honest ❤. Loved it! Highly Recommended.

So happy that finally one of the well known biriyani brand opened here in siliguri...I ordered Malamaal Murg Biriyani, Murg Lucknowi Biriyani, Matka Phirni & Chicken Ghee Roast The taste was amazing , it was made with lot of spices, the quantity of each item was totally satisfactory, the packaging & service was great & the delivery was made on time. My overall experience was really good. I would definitely like to recommend Biriyani by kilo to everyone ❤️💯

The most amazing and wanted outlet now in siliguri. Here are some glimpse that i have shared. If you ask me the best biryani place it is undoubtedly BIRYANI BY KILO. They serve the best kind of biryani with anch and variety of side dishes. In starter i would like to choose ghee roast chicken and galouti kebab. Fish was also good. My fav biryani was lucknowi chicken biryani with dum ka keema ghost. Their matka firni is a must try item❤
