A Pleasant Stay at Hotel Saluja, Except for One Glitch My recent stay at Hotel Saluja was overall a delightful experience, with just one minor hiccup. The hotel excelled in almost every aspect, but unfortunately, I encountered a dead phone in my room. The hotel staff were welcoming and provided a warm and efficient check-in process. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the bathroom was spotless with ample toiletries provided. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the hotel's excellent service. The staff were attentive, always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries. The onsite restaurant offered a variety of delicious dishes, catering to different tastes and dietary requirements. However, the dead phone in my room was an unexpected inconvenience. It made it difficult to communicate with the front desk or make any local calls during my stay. Nevertheless, the courteous staff did their best to rectify the situation once I brought it to their attention. Despite this minor glitch, Hotel Saluja remains a commendable choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Its welcoming ambiance, impeccable cleanliness, and exceptional service overshadowed the phone issue. The place is family friendly.we reached late in night , the staff was very gentle and polite and made us feel comfortable. Hotel is well maintained. The rooms are clean. The location is, not far from main shopping area, market. Owner is very gentle person.

I stayed in a hostel room here with sharing bathrooms. The bathrooms were nice and clean, I stayed for 2 nights but never thought of changing the rooms as it was sufficient for one people travelling alone. Also the hostel rooms are pocket friendly. The staff and there services were really great. A good place to stay if you are in Silliguri.

A basic hotel - that works well as a pit stop, overnight halt etc. Pocket friendly. Do not expect any fancy amenities. Be sure to check the sheets and pillow covers - that could be sometimes accompanied by stains. There was also some thrash slid under the bed by the previous occupants that went unnoticed by the housekeeping staff. In addition to that one of the staff members walked into the room without knocking on the door and also kept staring at the female guests which was unacceptable.

The main advantage of the hotel is that it is right in the heart of the main city. Old hotel but well maintained. The rooms are clean. We booked a non ac room just for one night's stay. It was good. It offers food service. But if you want cheap eateries and the costly ones as well, you get them just around the corner. Enough space for parking your vehicle. I booked through goibibo and got the deal in just 1200 bucks.

Best place to stay. Superb staff. Nice rooms. The Rooms are not luxurious but neat and clean. If you are looking for a budget hotel this is a best option. Had a great stay.

The rooms were great.Ventilation could improve as when windows are closed the rooms feel a bit closed out.It might have just been our room though. The service was okay, surely could improve but for the price,it was reasonable. Hated Siliguri for some reason as shops open too late and close down too soon and there's not much to do in the city itself.But we enjoyed the stay at Saluja.

I booked one family room for three of us(my family) all adults. It was a very clean big room with two bathrooms, dining area with dining table chairs. The service was very good, with very polite staff. The location of the hotel is another plus point. Very impressed.

I am staying in Saluja from last 3 years and I got fantastic experience with them. But from my last 2 staying I found different miscommunication from them interms of booking and payment. This time we had a event there so we booked one single room for 6 days and 4 double room for 3 days and before leaving last day we cleared all the due of 3 rooms same time we requested them to share the bill for 4th one also but they did not then at the time of check out they harassed one of our colleagues and do not allow him to leave the property even he informed that he has flight to Chennai as well. I understand they have their own policies but that's why we request them to sent the bill so we can clear that also as like other rooms.

Average hotel, average food, good location. The best part about hotel is everyone knows it in town. So getting here is easy. Apart from that everything is average from food to cleanliness. It is just a budget hotel and good for one night stay.

One of the best hotel experience ever! Saluja offers the best value for money. Starting from top notch service to cleanliness and dinning was A class! We even got the car drop facility at an odd hour like 4:30 am right on time. I will definitely recommend it to others to drop by this property for a wonderful experience.

The hotel provided Very cordial staff with promising rooms. Different room i feel really different experience as I stayed hostel and deluxe. Hostel room is good as student goes there to give any exam and want to stay just for some hour. For long stay I prefer deluxe rooms. This hotel pocket friendly too which will attract you more. I traveled solo. But the hotel : Couple friendly. Kid friendly. In room food and water service.

Place is near hongkong market ,but rooms are tiny at the given price and room service was very poor. Ac stopped working middle of night. Complimentary electric kettle started smelling like milk water after we boil water for tea..they didn't even clean thar properly. Very poor experience

The experience at property is worse as the room service and its charges are too much and do not provide any support. They will charge Rs 40 for one ltr of water bottle and even no water bottle is provided in the room, amenities are not as per tarrif for the rooms, ever remote of AC is not available in their room and no one would provide the same. The worst experience at this property till date I stayed at any location and any hotel.

The prices are very reasonable. Whatever you pay... You can get. Restaurant services are also very good. The food was very tasty and very well prepared and served in rooms. All the stats are good in behavior and dress properly. The main thing is that the hotel is on main road and only 10-15 minutes far from bus stand siliguri. I loved this place very much and recommend to all must visit once. This is my presonal opinion.

Good options for every kind of travellers. Be it solo, couple, family etc. I opted for a solo room. They also accepted my late check-out for half tariff of room. Pretty decent room. Toiletries, towel provided. Room service, in-room dining, wifi (pretty fast) all provided. Surprisingly, Tv also working.

Hotel saluja really holds a great place and also the behaviour of all staff are very good .One night stay there and all the supporting things they will provide when needed that's very well .But plz see the matter of check out time when anybody comes there in the evening and at night .But the overall experience of this hotel is noteworthy.

The rooms and bathroom are neat and clean but only disappointment this time was the room dinning first day too much oily , second day too much salt. Paratha with aroma of Desi ghee was my first choice but this was missing this time. Food experience was below average . Missed the wow factor in the food being served.

This hotel is one of the best in town. Just 1mins walking distance from the Hong Kong market. The Rooms are extra spacious with a clean spacious toilet. The hotel also provides the proper toiletries. The room has cozy beds and two tables, wooden chairs, and wooden furniture. Also, the floor and rooms are very clean. The hotel has an in-house kitchen service and they deliver food to rooms. The food was good and the quantity was sufficient. The cost was a bit high but the quality and taste were really good. The staff was nice and courteous. Room cost is economical too.

THE BAR FRIDGE WAS NOT WORKING, AFTER INFORMING, THEY CHANGED IT. NO SHAVING KIT OR ORAL CARE KIT WAS GIVEN. THE EMBOSSED NAME OF THE SUIT WAS ALSO DAMAGED. THE PRICES ARE ON A HIGHER SIDE. THE CHEF/S OF THIS HOTEL DON’T KNOW HOW TO COOK AMERICAN CHOPSUEY EVEN.

Best hotel in Siliguri I visited so far well maintained rooms in reasonable price... everything is perfect it has more than 100 rooms property but they maintained very well and the staff are also very friendly and helpful.... highly recommended to visit this hotel.

One of the best hotel to stay near Sevoke More. Staffs are well behaved and helping. Rooms are spacious, clean and great value for money. They provide hostel room which is clean and cheap with shared bathroom. Apart from that other rooms are too spacious and well maintained.

Got Suite Room with 3 fans. 1 Ac. 2 toilet as a surprise...a very very big room with awesome housekeeping staffs ,neat and clean with Comforter and not blanket, Very behaved staff , good suite for 2650/- , Only issue was some repair work was going on so entire day hammering was on head. Complained twice but looks reception guys were helpless and sardarji who was on counter was like. So. Hammering will happen. Wont listen to u....crazy.

Saluja offers a great value-for-money accommodation in the heart of the city. I had a good time here as service is excellent and all staff were polite. I took a single standard room for my stopover and they kept the room ready before my arrival. The linen was clean and the washroom amenities were also satisfactory. TV was working and had all the channels. The hotel has a secured parking lot for at least 10-12 cars. The rooms are thoughtfully situated although you might lose your way a couple of times as the building has multiple exits - a good thing for any emergency. Coming to the food, I got a chicken biryani and it's nothing to gripe about. I mean, there are ample options on the main Street and you can explore, but if you want room service they have it for you and it's decent. Shall visit again.

It was a great stay at Saluja. Service was prompt. Booked triple bed family room. All the amenities as per the list. Wanted to extend my stay for one more day but no sufficient family triple room.Lift was a vintage type not found very often however the management and staff of the hotel were exceptional. I recommend it for family, solo, as well as couple.

I stayed with my family in 1 room with 4 beds. Location wise perfect. Room service was good however they should provide water bottles for free. They should include a small Freezer in rooms cause people like me likes to drink chilled water and avoid disturbances of calling room service every time. Overall, it was a one good experience I got from hotel.

The hotel has the aroma of tradition and aristocracy about it. Rooms are well furnished and spacious. Interior decorations bear imprints of art, culture and gravity. It keeps the small everyday necessities like sandals, toothbrush, toothpaste, soaps, towels, electric kettles, packets of Darjeeling tea, green tea, milk etc. ready in the rooms. Bathroom is very clean, spacious and cold and hot water is available all the time. Situated at the central place of the city, the hotel offers nice stay for the visitors. Receptionists are particularly well-mannered. Other staff members are also cooperative. I found the lunch tasty, though served very late. But, everything else about the hotel was so splendid that I considered the delay of the lunch insignificant. And probably that incident was an exception, not the rule. Overall, it's a very very good hotel.

Business trip. Single room with attached bathroom was great. Service was prompt though there is scope for improvement. Reception staff were polite and friendly. Overall I liked it and would love to stay here again.

The place is located at the heart of Siliguri on sevoke road. The location has everything near by be it restaurants, grocery or other shops. 200m and you reach Sevoke more from where you can choose to travel to different sections of the city

Rooms are good enough at this price. It's in a great area with lots of restaurants and market at walking distance. Food is a bit overpriced but that's okay coz you will find more economical options nearby. Staff is polite and professional. Overall it was a good experience. 10/10 would recommend. Will definitely stay here again.

Just because of location & car parking facility, I decided to stay in this hotel. Rooms are okay which goes with its cost. Foods were really good which we ordered in the rooms. Good & Courtesious Staff. If you are on a business trip and have to stay back then this is the right place.

We stayed overnight to catch an early morning train. The hotel provided prompt toto service very early in the morning next day. We found the food extremely spicy specially unsuitable for elderly people. Rooms were compact with basic amenities. Quite clean and well maintained. The manager and staff were very courteous and helpful. Location was very convenient and in busy area.

The ratings were given post we upgraded our room. The rate at which we booked had separate room but common bathroom which was not mentioned while we were booking. It felt like a (S C A M) . After booking the room it was mentioned in the receipt that we have opted for sharing bathroom. Later when we reached the hotel we upgraded our room which was good and spacious. Room service was good. The hotel is in the main market which makes it convenient for shopping and transportation. Nearest railway station is NJP.

The Location of the Hotel is very good. Basically the behavior of sttafs are very polite and also the maintenance of room is too good. But there is only one issue which I faced that the answer of my queries did not get properly in time... Not worth 4k per night, property is old and rooms are not maintained well, no ventilation, has a damp smell, bedsheet was torn and pillows were damp. Only staffs were well behaved. Restaurant and food is nice but pretty oily and spicy. Staying at this hotel is not at all recommended.

It was my second visit to Hotel Saluja. One of the best experiences ever. Located at the heart of the city. But the quietness pervades all over the hotel. Rooms were neat and clean. All the amenities were satisfactory. Professionals were polite and well behaved. Happy to stay there.

The stay in the Hotel is really a nice experience..The room was cleaned and almost all room amenities were available. The hotel staff was also very polite and humble. It is situated at prime location, just adjacent to Main Road. The quality of food was also very commendable and room services provided was above expectation.

I stayed for one night in a super deluxe. The room and bathroom were clean and modern. The room service was also very good. Its very close to the market place. You can get auto to NJP station in the morning but you need to book before hand. He took Rs. 400.

The receptionist is too bad behaviour as when I asked for room catagory rates , they are saying much higher rates which are not in their own website. There website shows rate of 3 bedded as Rs2400 but they are saying Rs3000 + tax its too much and when I asked them ,they are saying that online and offline is different.I have been in many hotels in India but not seen website price is less and when I asked the rate is different. They dont have saluja residency online booking provision ,online means tripadvisor and all those ,etc. They are cheaters.Then what is the use to see their website rates and why they have posted.Please beware of these cheaters they don't know which rate to say.

The location of the hotel is prime, in Hill Cart road, near Venus More. They have a wide variety of rooms available for the guests. The only issue is that some of the rooms are at the backside wing, which makes them devoid of sunlight. The hotel has a big and secured parking space for guests arriving in their cars. The reception, room service and housekeeping provides with any assistance when asked for via the intercom. All other aspects look good at this price range. A special mention needs to be done for the 2 lady receptionists who are always ready to greet the guests with a smile, whatever the issue is. Also, the other staffs are polite and helpful. I stayed in a deluxe AC room, which was at 3rd floor. The room was really great and most importantly the washroom was very clean. The wifi connectivity and service was also great.

My stay in this hotel was really good. It takes 10min to reach NJP station to this hotel. This hotel is in a prime location in NJP and offers premium service at a very reasonable price. The room was super clean and had all essential amenities including a television, intercom, a small desk, chair, almirah, etc. They also provide certain toiletries such as shampoo, moisturizer, and towel. I was extremely happy with their service. Among the negative things that prospective customers want to know, are the rooms were not road-facing and if you don't opt for a non-AC room, you feel it's hot inside. Otherwise, its great!

I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel twice , once in a single room and second time with my family in a deluxe room . Both the rooms were very clean along with the bathrooms. Stayed for 3 days/nights. The room, bathroom and toilet are very neat, clean and meticulously maintained. The staffs were also very polite and helpful...in fact, when I arrived, turns out that I had booked for the next day by mistake. However, the manager was very accommodating and gladly allowed to change the date. I asked for a bottle of water in the wee hours which was promptly provided. In-house food was also good.
