Delo Park is the best sightseeing spot in Kalimpong..The park is a beautiful garden with flowers and plants and amazing views of mountains..the park has a homestay on the top of the hill..the homestay is available for booking for tourists.. the Delo Park have a entry fees of 20 rupees..the main attractions is paragliding.. there are many paragliding company available.. must try the momo outside...highly recommend to visit

A very beautiful place.. The weather and environment are quite enchanting, the beauty of the variety of colorful flowers is a great feeling and an unimaginable experience. The entrance fee to the park is only 20 rupees. There are hotel facilities for overnight stays. If you come here and spend the night, you will be able to get a good experience. Such a lovely place to visit. In rainy season the greenery was just fabulous. Wide open spaces for enjoying the peaceful natural greenery. In the top there are options for horse riding and some shops for tea coffee snacks, and shop of local handicrafts selling. There is a place for stay accomodations also. If you want can book your stay here. Overall I visited for few hours and found it really refreshing

One of the favorite place in Kalimpong to visit and to have relax time with family and friends. To reach the place is quite lengthy time because we have to hire the taxi - negotiate the price etc. from Kalimpong town. Only after reaching the park we came to know that from Kalimpong town there is a Bus service specially for the visitors from Kalimpong Market- Delo Park. So, if you want to save some money then you can prefer the Bus service. Also if we hire the taxi then they will charge extra money if we set bit longer time. This park which is locally called as Delo by locals is really far and isolated so the eateries and local venders in and around the park charges little extra money in the name of transportation which i totally did not like at all. Once we are inside the park, there is spacious place to breath fresh with the scene of Mountain ranges. It also has horse riding facilities. Other than this , there is a place from where you can dress up in Nepali Gorkha Cultural attires and can have the memories in photos. It also has tourist lodge at the top of the park where they provides Fooding - Lodging facilities. Park is full of flora - fauna- different types of shades and different view point from where you can peek into far places of Kalimpong. If you want to visit the place then go with at least some good amount of time- otherwise you will be totally disappointed because in 30 minutes what will you do? One of the most visit place for rejuvenation and to converse with the mighty nature!

In Kalimpong, after visiting a monastery, we made our way directly to Delo Park. This destination is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. We witnessed numerous people engaged in paragliding, with the cost being approximately Rs. 3000/- per person. We spent a significant amount of time there, capturing breathtaking photos amidst the vibrant flowers and lush green surroundings. The park offers a vast area to explore, so it's advisable to take your time and fully enjoy the experience. Within the park, you'll find several magnificent viewpoints that provide panoramic vistas of the Himalayas. We also had the opportunity to enter the renowned Delo Bungalow, where politicians would convene for their meetings. Additionally, children were joyfully participating in horse riding activities. A visit to this serene haven is an absolute must.

A good place for recreation and an awesome Kanchenjunga view, if the sky remains clear. A nominal price of INR20 is charged, but it should be free as all you do is just sit and enjoy the view or play with the clouds. Otherwise it really is a great place indeed. Horse riding for children is available. You can take a snap of yourself wearing local tribal dress.

Most beautiful place, not to be missed if you are in Kalimpong is Delo Park. Serene Beauty lined with coniferous pines has got amazing views if ever mesmerizing Kanchenjunga mountain ranges. If you are lucky the view is absolutely clear as I had seen in Feb 13th this year 2022. But now when I went again on 12th Mar on my way back from Rishop the view was a bit hazy. You can walk around and also view the Teesta meandering past the hills. Ecstatic!! There's a Gorkha resort in the premises which needs to be booked in advance from their office in Salt Lake Kolkata. There is a small gift shop for you to pick up some souvenirs as mementos from the trip. A small coffee shop is also there to grab a cup 🥤 when you are feeling tired walking. One needs to pay Rs 20 as entrance fees. Outside if you are adventurous you can do paragliding too!!

Excellent park with Misty mountain views, landscaped gardens, flower gardens, pine trees, a cafe and lodge. They also conduct paragliding from here. The only downside is that there isn’t enough car parking and the entrance area is chaotic with illegal food stalls.

Fun activities and awesome view of the Himalayas from the view point. I guess this is the highest point in Kalimpong. ₹ 100 for a horse ride is not worth but kids will definitely love to ride around. Avoid on public holidays.

Also known as Delo Hills, this is one of the places that is sure to take your breath away with its sheer beauty. A pathway which leads all across a huge garden, home to thousands of flora and fauna. While the slightly uphill walk can tire you out, when you reach the top, the viewing points will more than make up for the effort. Also available are small souvenir shops and horse riding for the adventurous. To truly admire every nook and cranny of the park is an hour long venture, but we definitely loved the half an hour we were there. Don't miss the "I Love Kalimpong" sign board right at the middle of the park - a great spot to take pictures.

There are also local shops where you can buy something but I recommend you not to buy as the price is high here. The place is surrounded with trees, beautiful plants. It's better to wear/carry winter jackets and sweaters. There is an exclusive place to click photographs at "I ❤️ KALIMPONG" situated inside the park. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Has potential but badly managed. There’s a horse ride, children’s trampoline which requires a fee. Park is decent. Given that it is a paid entry park with a lodge/hotel it is poorly managed. The park is full of rubbish with an absolutely DEADLY toilet. Also the ladies managing the entry fees are not issuing tickets so accountability is a suspect. The administrators need to be taken to task.

A decent viewpoint for mountains ⛰️. Ample parking available, Rs 20 per person entry, cafes outside for Maggi and Tea. However, for a panoramic view of the mountains go to Pujay Dhara — you will be amazed!!

Delo park, situated on the delo hill is one of the highest places of Kalimpong. The place is full of greens but there is some shrubs growing after the rainy season. The restroom is also looking great. The hill range and river view from the viewpoints are also mesmerizing. The steep rise on the way is bit difficult for elderly people visiting this beautiful place.

Its a nice place to visit. We visit there after a long 2.5 hrs long car journey. But we were mesmerized after seeing the clouds and fogs in the crowd. The whole area is full of freshness. The " I ❤kalimpong" sign is very cool... you can also enjoy paragliding there. It's not too much cost .. food quality in delo is also too good..😉

Kanchenjungha, the great peak of the Himalayas, is visible so clearly from here that it seems to be a few miles away. The Dello Resort within the park is also very attractive.

This is the 3rd time I visited this place. But last time with an negetive impact. First two time it was on April-May. & This time in January. Ok , I can consider, the flowers may not be like summer, but the maintenance... What about that ??? It's not seasonal.. every bush contains with lots of empty liquor bottles.. where are the securities... Where are the maintenance... We paid fees to enter, but effect is not noticeable... 😠😡

January is the good time to visit Delo. Delo is a park on top of kalimpong... awesome scenic beauty. Beautiful flowers.
