A very well designed park. Has a lot of attractions such as a museum, a bird zoo, elephant riding, grand safari in which you get to see The Royal Bengal Tiger, The Asiatic Black Bear, Leopard, Rhinoceros, and some other small animals like deer, monkey and peacock. The park in itself is beautiful and peaceful. Can be used as a picnic spot, has a park for children. The only catch is that the cafeteria is a little expensive but the food is average. Overall it's a good place for family outings and going out with friends. Definitely a fun spot, so would recommend it.

A great place for a day outing. I will suggest everyone to buy ticket of ₹200 per head for Safari, it will cover all the animals. There are various types of tickets. If you only want to enter the park then it will cost only ₹30, for Safari there are 2 types of tickets. ₹100 and ₹200. ₹100 will cover some animals like Deer, Bear etc. On the other hand ₹200 ticket will cover all the animals like Deer, Bear, Leopard, Tiger etc. This safari is too much enjoyable for the kids.

I found this place very good for 3-4hrs enjoyment for my baby and also for nature lover. All the animals photo were taken by me during my grand safari which costs 400/- per head. Booking online is totally safe. If anyone has train from njp station after 7pm, they can easily spend the full day time here till 5pm. Many recreation for children. Food canteen available. Forest area is beautiful.

This is the great place to visit after a journey of Hills. Kids & family will enjoy the daytrip here. Varity of jungle safari like elephant safari...Grand Safari...etc. makes visitors happy & satisfied. All animals & birds are healthy & fit. There is a nice zoo, a beautiful park, a museum & a parking lot with plenty of seating places & drinking water in Bengal Safari premises.

Title: An Exhilarating Adventure at Bengal Safari: Nature's Majesty Unveiled Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bengal Safari, and I must say it was an absolutely breathtaking experience that left me in awe of nature's wonders. Located amidst the lush greenery of West Bengal, India, this safari park is a true gem that offers an unforgettable journey into the wild. From the moment I stepped foot into Bengal Safari, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who provided me with all the necessary information and guidance for an enjoyable visit. The park's well-maintained infrastructure and clear signposting made it easy to navigate through the various zones and attractions. One of the highlights of Bengal Safari was the safari ride itself. As I embarked on a thrilling journey through the vast expanses of the park, I found myself in close proximity to a wide variety of magnificent animals. The sight of majestic Bengal tigers, graceful Indian elephants, and elusive leopards in their natural habitats left me speechless. The knowledgeable safari guides shared fascinating insights about the wildlife and their conservation efforts, adding depth to the experience. The park also boasts an impressive collection of wildlife exhibits, featuring a diverse range of species. From colorful birds to playful primates and slithering reptiles, every exhibit was thoughtfully designed to mimic the natural environments of the animals. I appreciated the educational signs that provided detailed information about each species, raising awareness about their conservation status and the importance of preserving their habitats. Bengal Safari goes beyond being just a wildlife park; it offers a holistic experience for visitors of all ages. The beautifully landscaped gardens, picnic spots, and children's play area make it an ideal destination for families. Moreover, the park organizes various interactive activities, such as feeding sessions and animal shows, providing an opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals in a safe and controlled environment. The conservation efforts undertaken by Bengal Safari are truly commendable. The park actively participates in breeding programs and rehabilitation initiatives to protect endangered species. They are dedicated to creating a sustainable ecosystem that nurtures and preserves the natural heritage of the region, and this commitment shines through in every aspect of the park. In terms of facilities, Bengal Safari is well-equipped with clean restrooms, ample parking space, and well-maintained walkways. The staff members were always ready to assist and ensure the comfort and safety of the visitors. If you are a nature enthusiast, animal lover, or simply seeking an adventure that will leave you in awe, I highly recommend a visit to Bengal Safari. It is an extraordinary destination that connects you with the wonders of the wild, leaving an indelible mark on your heart and soul. Prepare to be captivated by the beauty, diversity, and grandeur of the animal kingdom within this incredible sanctuary.

A must visit for whole day family trip, ful of fun, enjoyment and good time pass. One day is not enough. Time is from 9 am to 5 pm. Ticket ₹30/- per head for adult, ₹10/- for kids, no ticket below 5 years. Ticket counter closes at 4.30 pm. Online ticket holders also have to collect their actual tickets from entry ticket counter (left counter). Attractions: Toy train, ₹25/- per head, 3x3 total 9seats per coach, 3 coaches. Buy manual tickets from the clerk, sits immediately after entering main gate. Elephant ride ₹300/- per person, about 20 minutes ride, 2 elephants, Urmi 50 years, Lakshmi 62 years, each can take 4 persons. Airconditioned Bus Safari, ₹200/- for each, adults/child. Grand Safari covers all enclosures, deers, black bear, leopard, rhino and tiger, white tiger. Very big area. People carry own food, picnic basket etc. Plenty of drinking water booths are available, just take your one bottle. Food courts are also there, long lines, limited seats, pricey food, with not so good quality food, cooking not allowed inside park premises. Children park is also there. Bag locker available at the entry gate, do not accept helmets.

Bengal safari is a great place for time spent with family and friends, it will be loved by the person who loves to stay in nature and animals. All the guards are friendly and helpful. You can do many interesting things there, such as rock climbing, rope activity, bridge walk, and much more. Crocodiles and alligators are there and you have to pass from the bridge to see them. There is an option to ride on an elephant 🐘, don't miss the safari ride and the toy train ride also. U'll experience a great time in it. The most loving part is the bonsai garden. Flower gardens are too attractive. There is a children's park also with lots of playing rides. And of course there is a food court present in the premises.

Amidst lush green environment. Surely enough to take the stress out of you. We just paid a visit on the way to coronation bridge. The best time to visit would be in the late afternoon and evenings. Must try the toy train ride. But not the Safari. The Safari in the van is pretty fast. They just take you around for namesake driving very fast. Overall a good place to visit with your loved ones, friends and family.

Was so surprised to see the amount of animals roaming freely. Here’s definitely some great scenery and fresh air around the lush forest. And so tranquil to be out of the noisy city. Was definitely worth the visit. And you find some of the best freshly made momo!!!! We couldn’t stop ourselves from ordering more.

Bengal Safari is one of the most popular tourist attractions as well as an animal park in North Bengal, situated beside the Mahanada Wildlife Sanctuary. Tourists can enjoy herbivores and carnivorous mammals in this park. Elephant Safari is one of the most popular attractions in this park. All the Safaris are very pocket friendly. Best place to spend a full day with family and friends.

Excellent place for day outing. Grand Safari is a must do here. Entry fee Rs. 30/- and Grand Safari cost Rs. 200 including entry fee. Cafeteria is good and gives quick service. Animal sighting is almost guaranteed in the safari. Brilliant place to spend a day.

Very big park with good amenities. A big children's park. The quality of the safari needs to be improved. 1. AC was not working on the bus and as windows couldn't be opened it was unbearable inside 2. The guide was sitting like a statue. There must be an interactive guide 3. There should be better ways to show animals. No one is going on a safari to see a caged animal, then there is no difference between a zoo and a jungle safari

Wonderful place and purely for nature lovers. Great maintenance by authorities. Safari was on of the amazing activity there. Can see the beauty of mother nature while roaming there. There is also a handicraft shop inside the safari, where you can get handmade articles and collection purely from nature and also have a lot of varieties. Lot of medicinal plants also in the part of the place. Overall must visit place around Siliguri. Its a must to visit place, also if possible take both Safaris (Grand and Elephant). Grand safari will cost 200 per head and Elephant safari will cost 300 per head. There is a food court also in the campus which provides decent foods in reasonable price.

Loved the greenery and everything of this exclusive place. The safari cost Rs. 200/adult for 1hr and for children it's free. Good to visit with you family and children. You can see Royal Bengal Tiger, Elephant, Panther, Bear, Peacocks, deers, rabbits and many birds. The most exciting part was to see Royal Bengal Tiger and Cheetah from 5-10ft distance only during our visit. Attaching the photos, so that visitor can understand the place well.

It is basically an open zoo, in zoo all the animals live in small cages and in a torture and tight environment, in here all animals have alot of place to roam and to live. The trip was exactly for 1 hour and price was 200/- per person.

Terrific experience for my 3 yo. Had a close encounter with live tiger was most significant part of the safari. We saw peacocks and deers in the beginning but gradually it was going more wilder. We took Rs 200 grand safari tour on the bus where we shared a bus with other fellow passengers. It was definitely worth for kids as well as adults. Highly recommended. 👍

It was a nice experience. I visit Bengal Safari with my family, the place is filled with lot of adventure activities like long and short zip lines, Maya bridge, Big foot, etc and not to forget the foot zoo is filled with lot of exotic birds, exotic monkeys, tortoise and alligators and last but not the least the jeep safari man what an experience to see the wild life from so close, the tigers came up to the bus and started scraching the window man that's an experience of life time. Apart from that there is a small park for kids and a restaurant that serves good food. The restaurant is self serve and clean, overall it was a great experience for me and my family and the transport to reach Bengal Safari from Siliguri town is also quite good and affordable. The best thing about Bengal Safari is that it provide you with a lot different types of experience at same place and if someone want to experience a single thing say someone only want to experience the adventure activities or want to do the jeep safari or elephant safari can do the same. If anyone want to visit Bengal Safari but thinking other wise my suggestion would be don't think just visit it will be a great experience for you.

Price is quite high. Entire area is well maintained. Atmosphere is very good. Zoo Authority needs to include more animals . If you don't opt for safari then it will be a boring tour . The authority should also focus on public, where the public shouting should be banned . For bird watchers and butterfly watchers it's a very good place. In the safari people will be able to watch tigers and cheetah which is the main attraction of the tour. It's a very good place for educational visit for school and college students.

It's near Siliguri and only one Safari within a zoo in the West Bengal. 16-18 seater travellers are available for safari. Many time slots are available for Combo and grand safari, you can check from the website. Authorities mentioning that animal visit is not guaranteed but they tried their best and as of now all visitors can see them. Except safari, there are few animals cages also there. Elephant safari also happens here. For zoo entry fees is Rs.50 which is mandatory and safari fees is Rs.400/- per person and below 5 years is free. You can park your bike / car / bus also here against parking fees (Rs. 50 for four small car & Rs.100 for bus). Canteen also available within the zoo, & it's costly. Outside zoo one Canteen is available which is little cheaper. Except water plastic bottle, other plastic is not allowed.

Must visit place if you have just few free hours and you have come to siliguri or bagdogra, bengdubi or nearby for work. Staff is sincere, organized, punctual and area is well maintained. we went there for 3 days.. as we had just the evening free time.. one day we did jungle safari ( which will take around 1 hour) , next day adventure activities and one day we explored zoo on feet.. place is peaceful, pollution free and full of bird chirping.. I loved it.. So would you..

The first animal safari park in the North Bengal region is Bengal Safari Park, which is located in the lush woodland of Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary. It is eight kilometers away from Siliguri on the Sevoke road. It is a popular wildlife park where visitors can take a safari to see various animals in their natural habitat. The park aims to provide a natural habitat for animals and promote wildlife conservation. The sanctuary is known for its diverse flora and fauna, including elephants, tigers, leopards, and various species of birds.

Bengal Safari Park, located in Siliguri, India, offers a captivating wildlife experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the natural beauty and biodiversity of the region. The park provides a unique blend of a safari adventure and a wildlife sanctuary. One of the key highlights is the open-air safari that takes visitors through carefully designed habitats, allowing them to observe animals in settings that closely resemble their natural environments. From majestic Bengal tigers to Asiatic elephants and various species of deer, the park showcases a diverse range of fauna. The park's commitment to conservation and education is evident in its efforts to raise awareness about endangered species and promote environmental sustainability. Informative signage and guided tours enhance the educational aspect of the visit, making it an enriching experience for families and wildlife enthusiasts. The well-maintained facilities, including seating areas and viewpoints, contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Additionally, the park's commitment to animal welfare and habitat preservation is commendable. While Bengal Safari Park provides an engaging wildlife experience, occasional visitor feedback regarding crowd management and the need for more shaded areas for relaxation may be considered for further enhancement. In conclusion, Bengal Safari Park offers a delightful combination of adventure and conservation, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking a closer connection with nature and a chance to witness the rich biodiversity of the region.

Had a nice experience... But it's not really a safari, it's a large confined area maintained and looked after by the army. And you might spot some tigers but frankly speaking those tigers are not in wild they are in a confined forest.

It was an excellent experience. The whole safari was full of excitement. Totally organised whole safari. We viewed Deer, Himalayan Black Bear, Leopard, Rhinoceros, so many different type of peacock and most excitingly the Royal Bengal Tiger. All are from the AC safari bus and mostly from 6' distance. Good initiative from Dept of forest and Dept of Tourism, Govt of WB jointly. We spent almost four hours incliding the one hour grand safari. Tickt is very reasonable. Rs. 200/- per head for the safari. Food is also very good in side the park in food court. Thali, Chinese and indian cuisine available. Nice trip for a day.....

You will definitely see, not just deer, monkey and boars. But also Bear, Tiger, Leopard, Rhinoceros, Elephant. They have air-conditioned Traveller buses, you will get single seats to sit on. Good view. Worth trying for 200 rupees

My third visit to this place with family. Nice place where we can see the wild animals. But maintenance need to be done for keeping its beauty and green at per.

I will be very honest. This place is underrated and deserves so much more. Don't listen to the naysayers that the animals are ill treated here. They are in far better condition compared to those so called zoological parks (zoos). Coming to the point, the safari was truly worth it. This park is divided into four zones (Herbivore, Asiatic Black Bear, Leopard and Tiger). I was fortunate enough to see all the mentioned animals and the ticket cost me only 200 rupees. Apart from safari, there's an alligator enclosure, a bird house and also a food court where you can have a meal. Along with that, it's located in a serene place so you can feel at peace and enjoy the tranquility. Do visit this place once. I swear u won't regret it.

Awesome place to visit. List of few animals: Royal Bengal Tiger Bear Deer Peacock & peahen Leopard Rhino and many. A ride through wild where animals are free outside and you are caged.

Decent place when u are looking to spend sometime with your family. Only thing that could have been improved is the safari time. They promised 1hr trip but wraped up within 40mins itself. We expect safari's to wait a 1-2mins so we can get pictures and enjoy the ride but here it seems like they were in a rush to complete the ride that's all.

Worth a visit. Safaris are nice and if you are lucky enough, you can see Royal Bengal Tiger. However, the safaris get filled up pretty quickly in the peak season so make sure you check online before visiting. It has an auto stand outside which makes it easy to commute. You can even avail share autos as a cheaper alternative. The canteen is great and there are activities like ziplining and wall climbing (not yet started). You can even ride a toy train. You can see some beautiful birds, butterflies if they are willing to come out. Kangaroos and crocodiles are also visible sometimes. Entry fee - Rs. 30 Zipline - Rs. 150

Calm serene.A must visit place be with your family friends or lover. The elephant ride is a little disappointing as it is just counted as an experience,so no animals can be seen in its natural habitat. Also just a little detour towards the hidden village of Toribari presents you with an amazing and monumental monastery which for people who are in search of peace and tranquility is a must visit.

Very much will maintained. The price is very reasonable or may say very cheap compared to the experience of grand safari. The safari bus are AC and adequately comfortable. It's an hour's safari where one can see lots of wild life open inside the sanctuary. A must visit.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION:- 1. Spotted a few tigers, leopards,a lot of deer and a black bear. 2. Entry fee - 50 rupees per person Safari Ride in AC bus - 400 rupees per person 3. Different categories of ride are available at different price. 4. Located Far from the chaos of city. Auto is available from the entrance gate. Clean surrounding. Toilets are available. A small food joint is also there in the premises.

Indian Army maintained facility. Good services provided. Online safari tickets can be booked. Vehicles are air conditioned. They maintain the timing of safaris perfectly. There is a lavatory, a food court, a Information Centre and a on foot zoo too. Overall experience was very good. Recommended for family.

This is a great option to experience. It's a zoological park near Siliguri. Here you can enjoy Jungle Safari with a very low cost. Different animals like tigers, deer, crocodiles etc are there. If you are visiting North Bengal and you have enough time or at least one day in hand you should visit this place once.

Well made safari. The animals are majestic and one can have a very close look at them in the safari. However, management needs improvement. The eating places are not good and neither are the involvement of the staff.

As a nature lover one can visit Bengal safari which is located in Salugara. A wide range of wild animals and various colourful birds are here. Very clean and green place which give pleasure to eyes. Best place to visit with family and friends.

Vast and well maintained area. A place of full enjoyment especially for the kids. But if you don't go for a COMBO SAFARI or GRAND SAFARI by safari bus, you will never get the real pleasure of the Bengal Safari. Here you can see lots of wild animals, birds & butterflies. On road toy train is another attraction for the kids here. They have water ATM (Rs.10 for a litre water) and a very good 'Food Court' with lots of tasty food items. They have some adventure activities also, like zip lining. But use of plastic is strictly prohibited here.If you plan for a day visit (especially with kids) & refreshment then go for it.

The unique type of bus safari where animals are kept inside huge boundary so that chances of animal visibility is very high. Safari Park tour is adventurous and seen tiger, bear, dear etc. from close. A huge and clan jangal with lots of fun activity. Enjoyed the trip and activities.

Very nice safari. A well maintained natural zoo with a good amount of animals. Don't miss the Grand safari (Tiger, Leopard, Asiatic Bear, Herbivores, Elephants etc.) worth every penny!!

A good place to visit with a family of small children. A serene atmosphere with a view of the most precious predators of the wild. The leopards will give you a few chills as they observe you caged in the bus.
