Beautiful place to trek in, check the weather before you go. Found my heart in the forests there. Check the gorkhey trail it's mind blowing. Beautiful place, beautiful people. Local tea houses avilable for stay, expect be basic accommodation but the people fill your heart, and please don't trash at the park. Carry your trash back.

Best place to visit.. away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Clean air, awesome weather (depends on the season you go), beautiful scenery, lip smacking food which is simple and effective, great and helpful people. Definitely, a place to visit, whether it is for trekking or just unwinding with family.

Most pristine and amazing place to trek in West Bengal. The forest has oak, fern, lots of Bamboo and Rhododendron trees. The views at each turn are mesmerising and one need to visit this national park atleast once in thier life time. This park is also a habit for the shy red panda so do keep you eyes and ears open.

It was a great explore the place and the nature is full of flora and fauna. The roads are little bit difficult to trek but if you have the guts you can surely try. It starts just after Tumbling. It covers a very good range which I enjoyed most.Due to snowfall the road was slippery and the weather was quite chilled. Overall it's a lifetime experience to explore this place.

It's a must visit place if you go to the Darjeeling side. I would recommend trekking more than a normal car trip . Start your trek from Dhotrey. Dhotrey is better than Manebhanjan in terms of scenic beauty. The Trek will be completely wholesome and will be a life time experience

It is a national park. I saw just a glimpse of one deer only. Lots of birds are there. There is a 6km trek through the jungle to Tonglu at a height of 10130 feet from Dhotrey. The experience of trekking was wonderful and highly recommend. There is single stone laid path throughout, so no need of any guide. There are two more nearby places to trek from Tonglu- Tumling and Meghma. Both are 2km from Tonglu.

Awesome place. If you are beginner in hiking, Barsey hiking is the best for you. Since only one route is available, no requirement of guide.

This is a really amazing location. The evergreen forest with is very old and seems completely untouched. There is no logging visible. All trees are covered with hundreds of epiphyts thar add to the atmosphere and make it a mystic place.

Though I only visited a small part of this place during my trek from Gorkhey to Sirikhola via Samanden, this place is of wonderous beauty❤️❤️. Covered by dense pines and conifers it is home to many rare species of birds, mammals and other wild animals. The place is as scary as it is beautiful and walking through the trails makes you want to explore the place more. One needs to first get a Permit Pass from Bit office of Forest Rangers before entering the forest.

There are very few beautiful and serene places like this that exist in India. This is heaven on earth. Full of deep forest, vast meadows, beautiful valleys, natural streams, waterfalls, snow clad peaks and the most interesting part is Sunrise and Sunset, which can't be described in words. You can see it for hours and hours. It's truly a treat for the eyes.

Highest National park of West Bengal. The highest top of West Bengal, Sandakphu situated in this National Park. Also this NP creates a border with Neighbouring country Nepal. This NP is famous for some beautiful trekking routes through it. Biodiversity of this NP is very unique. Bird diversity is tremendous and it is the best place to encounter elusive Red Pandas.

If you are visiting on rhododendron season and rain does not ruins your day then the 10 kms up-down trek to versey rhododendron sanctuary will be nice.

One of the best places in the world to feel the nature .Thick Bamboo, oak, magnolia , rhododendron forest between 2000 and 3600 m cover the Singalila Ridge. There are two seasons of wildflower bloom - one in spring (March and April) when the rhododendrons bloom, and another in the post-monsoon season (around October), when the lower forests bloom. The park is a birder's delight with over 120 species recorded including many rare and exotic species. The park is one of the most popular family camping destinations in the Eastern Himalayas. The trek along the Singalila Ridge to Sandakphu and Phalut is one of the most popular ones in the Eastern Himalayas, due to the grand vistas of the kanchanzunga range, and the Everest range which can be seen from the ridge, and also for the seasonal wildflower blooms and birding.

One of the largest NP spanning WB and spills over Sikkim and even Nepal. Home of the elusive Red Panda, the park is a nature lover's paradise. This place is best explored through treks- long and short. Good news is that small villages are opening up to tourists. This area can be a peaceful alternative to the big and crowded tourist spots the hills.

Here you can see The splendorous views of the valley from this place also make it one of the most unique places to visit in Darjeeling. All of this natural beauty will leave you mesmerized and you wouldn’t want to leave this gorgeous National Park ever. The most inspiring thing about this place is that it strictly prohibits poaching and hunting of animals. Also, the trekking route of this area is quite unexplored and full of amazing trails

👍👍 Nestled on a hilltop inside a jungle, this is one of the best places to view Kanchanjunga as Sleeping Buddha Formation. Plus the whole Singalila ridge till phoktey dara top is also visible from there
